I cannot say enough good things about their quality of service in every area of our project. They worked with us on all aspects, willingly changing the design in an open, friendly, and service-minded manner. When there was a conflict between the design that we, as a couple wanted, they quickly came out and fixed the look of the project to my spouse's wanted outcome. They shared their knowledge of plants needed for the areas we were landscaping, and did a tremendous job of laying the landscaping blocks, which was not an part of the original design. They offered many suggestions, but did not pressure us into using any of them. They let us, as the homeowners, make our own decisions and did what WE wanted; not what they wanted. They willingly incorporated materials we had on hand into the design, i.e., flag stone and mulch so that the costs were held at a price we could afford. They did whatever they could to make this a non-stress project, and we are extremely satisfied with the outcome. They truly went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy with the result!!

They started out doing what I thought was a great job until they got to the back yard to fix a proper run off. They marked the bottom of the fence with a straight blue line chalk. The fence was not straight due to the yard being so uneven. They cut the bottom of fence a good distance until they finally realized it was not an even cut. The bottom of my fence was cut very uneven, most definitely shows a job of an amateur. They were to fix, fill in and sod some low spots with dirt and sod. THE SURPRIZE - Come spring 2014 still have some very low spots in yard, there is really not a good run off. With many calls and messages left they finally returned my call. I asked them regarding the low spots in yard and areas that sod did not take. I was told that top soil and sod placement was not warrantied. After spending over $4000.00 I still have low spots, no proper run off and a very chopped up bottom of a six foot fence going across the whole back yard.

Work started in Late January with a design of the property and a couple modification meetings. Cost of design was deducted from cost of the work. Pine tree removal was accomplished just prior to the Ice storms we experienced , Thank God as my neighbors properties got hit pretty hard . Work was hinder by bad weather / rain on a number of occasions but Phillip and his crew still seemed to get it done on time by working what ever days they could including Saturdays. Plants were ordered and arrived timely but held off planting until danger of frost had subsided. Escavation, drainage and preparation of soil for gardens and sod and were completed toward the end of February. Plants and sod that were ordered arrived the middle and toward the end of March and were all planted by the end of the month. Lawns done right has done as right. They have returned on a number of occasions to make sure things are shapping up with the plantings. Krista and Phillip are true professionals and very knowlegable of their work. They have transformed our yard into a true paradise. Cost of the work was higher then some, but you get what you pay for. I am getting nothing but great comments on my yard as the neighbors walk by. The cherry blossums are still in full bloom. Presently intend on using this contractor again to install some more sod toward the rear of my property. Will follow up with another review at that time. To say we are pleased with the work we have had done os farwould be an under statement. We are elated.

I used this company for several years. they did a great job. Unfortunately they only are available to commercial clients now

I can summarize Lawns Done Right In two words Professional and knowledgeable.

nI have had Lawns done right for almost 5 years. They have been prompt and taken such good care of my yard over that time. It is with regret they are closing their residential business and doing commercial only. I would have kept them forever! I wish them the best with the way they are taking. The price above represents the approximate amount it took to take care of my yard (about 1/4 acre) over the past 41/2 years. They were always very professional and caring.

Everything went as scheduled.

The company sodded our entire front lawn. The price was a bit steep but we figured it was worth it based on the good reviews from Angie's list. Initially the lawn looked good. Then within 2 weeks it started to die. First they said it was a watering problem and told us the only person they trusted was one particular sprinkler guy. They really pushed this guy on us - but we had worked with our own company for many years. We had the watering adjusted. The lawn continued to die. Then they told us it was too shady. Since they are the experts you would think they could mention that BEFORE you spent thousands to put in a lawn. We immediately had the branches cut back. The lawn continued to die. Then they decided it was a pest infestation and that it was probably too late to treat. They took no responsibility at all for the lawn problems. We took them to small claims court but the judge said there was not evidence that initial installation was faulty. I still would NEVER recommend them to anyone. We spent thousands of dollars before and to try to save the lawn and we still have a a dead lawn.

They seemed to have a good idea on what I wanted to have done, and did an overall decent job. Everything went fine.

Great!. both the design and the execution were excellent and we rented the condo in only two weeks. I am sure the landscaping helped alot.

Krista and Phillip did an excellent job. By the time we found them (after joining Angie's List), we had already consulted three other landscapers. I was wearing of looking and beginning to feel we were not going to be able to complete our job on time for a graduation party we had planned. Enter Lawns Done Right..,I knew within a few minutes of talking with them that our search was over. Krista and Phillip have a natural ability and an "eye" for what needs to be done to make a yard stand out. It was a pleasure to walk around the yard and have them immediately understand what we envisioned. In the year since, we have had many compliments on our yard and the landscaping has held up well. We are now in the process of working with them again (to refreshen mulch, and plant some more flowers) in order to sell our house. We are anxious to work with them again- in fact, I am hoping to somehow get Krista's ideas on landscaping our new home- even though it is in another state! Thank you to Krista, Phillip, and their team of workers! They were timely, professional, personable- and clearly enjoy their job.

The work was very timely, professionally and courteously done and was completed for the estimated cost.

It went wonderful! Krista, Phillip, and their crew arrived early on the scheduled start day and they finished almost everything that day. They came back the second day to mulch and plant the last of the daylillies. They were very thorough and professional, and did a great job of cleaning up after they were done. The catch basin works great - we've already had some pretty hard rain to test it out, and it has certainly helped drain that low spot in my yard. I am thrilled with my backyard - it is no longer a boring yard; it's now an outdoor living space! I love it, and I'm looking forward to spending more time out there enjoying it.

Excellent work-job done on time-good service after the fact.

Wanted to change the landscaping scheme of the yard to make it easier to maintain. Also wanted to change the landscaping scheme for the front and side on the house. We used Angie's List to find Lawn's Done Right and was not disappointed. Meet with Lawn's Done Right several time to discuss what we were looking for. They work with us patiently and even make several changes after the work was agreed upon and underway. Very professional and easy to work with. Made us feel like we were not only important, but their friend. Highly recommend.

Just bought a house that had gone to foreclosure. The property had been let go for some time in looked pretty shabby. Being new to the area, I used Angies list of locate a local landscaping service and chose Lawns Done Right based on their grades and customer comments. They came out, surveyed the property and discussed with me exactly what I wanted done. They work crew came out and went over the property again with me to make sure they understood what I wanted and made some suggestions as well. They did an excellent job, I was amazed at how much better the property looked and how much more space I was able to recover. Lawns Done Right was professional and courteous every step of the way and took great pride in their work and doing the job right. They are great and now do my lawn on a continuing basis. I am extremely happy with their work.

They showed up as scheduled, worked 12 hour days to complete the project as planned, and stayed within the estimate in spite of a couple of unanticipated incidents. Very professional in listening to our expectations regarding the finished product, prompt in producing a detailed estimate/proposal, and easy to work with. Couldn't have asked for more.
