Affordable Fences

No response. Must be the project wasn't large enough for them to waste their time.

Charlie and his crew were fantastic! They were on time , very professional and did an excellent job. We will definitely use them again.

Affordable re-made my gate with a 10’ opening which is better than expected. The hardware they used was top notch and the gate is solid & attractive. They arrived when they said they would and the job was completed in record time. Also, the price was fair and I would definitely hire them again. Also, I would feel good about recommending them to others. Thank you Affordable!

Needed repair on chain link fence, new gate/ He gave me a partial estimate. He never came back to do the work. We kept calling, he kept saying yeah, he had another job and he would be back. He has not come back so I have called another company. I had a chain link fence. It was bent down due to a limb falling on it. He gave me a good price on it. I asked him if he would replace one of my gates and he said he would be glad too. He would call me back with a price. I never got the estimate on the gate. Everytime we called him, he was working on a job and would come but never came. He was a nice guy. I hated to have to call someone else but I needed it fixed. It was a free estimate. If he had just come back and done something. The first part was good but the second part was not. He came out to give the estimate when he said he would. I don't think he was very professional. I don't like to say bad things about anybody but he did not call me to say that he was not coming. He just had me hanging and got let down.

They did not call back to get the job. The estimate was free.

Affordable fence replaced the whole gate and did a wonderful job. Will use Affordable Fences again.

It was a great experience. He came out when he said he would. He listened to everything I had to say and quoted me on exactly what I wanted. It was written on the back of a piece of paper, not like a professional quote. Charlie Stewart is the guys name.

I called Affordable Fences and Charlie answered, took my information, and came to our property to assess the work the very next day. He assessed the scope of work, and determined that the type of work was better suited for a different company more experienced in ornamental iron gates. He called me with this assessment, recommended a specific alternative company to complete the work, and even provided me with the phone number of a specific person to contact at that company. I was entirely impressed by the responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism I experienced in dealing with Affordable Fences, and I would absolutely call them and (hopefully!) use their services again.

They were not nearly as affordable as the provider that we used. The man was nice but did not any work for us. He wanted $500 more. The man was very nice but he was a little critical of the fence that we had before which my husband and the neighbor built. It lasted over 20 years. We did not need a lot of detail. All we needed was a row and a fence. That was it. We did not need anything fancy up top. We just needed to keep the dogs in and to keep them separated. They could have reduced the cost. They were responsive on the phone. But I had to call and ask are we meeting today?

Once we were able to reconnect as the company had lost our contact info and fence parts were reordered it went great.

Affordable Fences has done good work for us before. So called Charlie again; he took a look; gave a quote. I came home one day to find repairs done and side gates also adjusted so they open more smoothly. Couldn't have gone better. Great job. Fair price.

The owner of Affordable Fencing (Charlie) responded to my call inquiry to set up time to come out and evaluate and then provided me with an estimate for repair. Charlie came out, provided an estimate with a disclaimer it was not a guarantee the fence panel could be repaired entirely. I secured the work and Charlie's brother James came out to make the repair. James shared in addition to fence building his core expertise was carpentry and he took the time to work (by himself) to secure the panel back into place. He was friendly, helpful and insightful about estimating how long the fence may last due to the marsh proximity. Overall, I was very appreciative of both Charlie and James' contributions to this repair need.

Response to my initial call was slow, but the job was soon after hurricane Matthew [October 2016] had caused a lot of local damage. Once contacted, the crew completed the job as agreed and performed well.

Mr. Stewart responded quickly to give me a price and his crew arrived on time and did a great job in replacing both types of damaged fencing. The price was good and the work was excellent.

Is there a higher rating than an "A"? If there was, I'd give it to Affordable Fences. The recent hurricane damaged my double fence gate. I called Mr. Stewart- he came out right away, gave me an estimate, replaced the whole gate, cleaned up the dunnage all in the same week. The workmanship is excellent! the gate looks great too. He is a true professional - and got the job done. He also fixed my mailbox post too. I will recommend Affordable Fences to everyone.

Was told would be over for estimate in 2-3 days, never heard from them until 10 days later

Call Affordable Fences spoke to Charlie. He came the next day did the estimate and that week the work was done. He found a post that was broken that I did not notice. Very nice person and the work looked good.

We received a quick estimate & felt it was reasonable. They were friendly and answered all my questions, the fence looks great & installation was quick & everything was clean up.
