The owner, Chris was fantastic!!! After a horrible experience with another cabinet maker, Chris was the total opposite! He showed up on time for our first appointment. He got back to me right away with a price and sketches and all the details. I had priced out what I wanted with other people and he had the best price using the same material. He kept in touch with me during the entire project. He actually finished it early!! Unheard of in Charleston. He did an entire built in of bookshelves and cabinets under my window sills on one side of my wall in the living room. It looks fabulous. I want him now to price up doing something for my kitchen pantry. I highly recommend him. Professional and so nice and well priced!

I sent Chris a picture of a cabinet and he built it to perfection! I am so pleased he is going to build a built in bookcase for me.

My bookcases were built by what I consider to be a master craftsman. They are simply beautiful. They are quite large and one of the cabinets was built with glass doors so that I could display some of my knick knacks. I had an existing oak bookcase and Chris was able to match the wood and stain extremely well. He also succeeded in matching the trim and installed doors on one of the cabinets to match the doors on the existing bookcase. I was very impressed with his work and with the care he took during the installation process.

Chris came and looked at the areas were I wanted shelves installed, took measurements and listed to what I wanted. He sent and estimate for cost and timeline that was agreeable. On the date agreed, he came and installed the shelves in both areas. I am extremely please with both sets of shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. If I decide to have additional shelving or cabinets made, I will certainly call Woodpeckers.

He was very responsive to my change orders via phone call or email. His price was fair and his work was excellent. He even did some additional tasks (like hiding scratches on the wood floors) for free. Chris was in my house no earlier than 9am and he left no later than 5:00pm, which is really convenient. I pointed out a couple of minor defects and he fixed them without protesting. Overall my experience was excellent and I would recommend him my friends. I also received two more quotes for some other work I'm considering.

Chris always showed up when he said he would and if he encountered a snag, he would always e-mail us. On his final bill, he even gave us credit for unused materials. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone desiring quality work.

He is prompt and neat, and the quality of work is very good. He spells everything out in his contract, and he doesn't leave anything to question.
