They came over and did the inspection on time, provided a quote then came back onsite to complete the job when they said they would.

Crew arrived as scheduled, they were friendly and professional and did a fabulous job, even made additional trims after a walkthrough. Several of my neighbors also asked them for help while they were at my house and they were happy to help them as well. Very pleased with their professionalism, knowledge of proper pruning and outcome. Thanks very much!

Great job. They showed up with a big crew and knocked out the work in a morning. Did a light trim on a number of large oak trees, removing dead limbs, cutting out tangled branches and taking down piles of Spanish Moss.

Erick, the owner, was very quick to respond to my initial request. He was knowledgeable, came to look at the yard to confirm the request, and set a fair price. There was a little snag on day of service which made the crew (of only 2 guys) show up late (within about an hour of start time). Admittedly, that worried us at first, but once they got here, they were amazing! So efficient, and clearly experienced. Our sweet gum tree was probably over 50’ tall and even the largest branches were coming down precisely where they wanted them to. It was really amazing to watch. Hunter made sure that we were on the same page the whole time with what needed to be done. They got the whole job done within 2-3 hours and cleaned our patio better than it was before they arrived. For homeowners, it’s important to be aware that if you’ve never take a tree down in the lowcountry before, our squishy yards will have some dents from heavy limbs falling since we live in the swamp. If you’re taking down a sweet gum, you will find spiky pods for a few days. It’s inevitable. To handle this, we just raked up the leftovers that got stuck in the ground, then filled the dents with the dirt and mulch leftover from stump grinding (which Erick had a separate person, Tom, from On the Grind, come over and do same day. Tom was in and out in less than an hour! He even offered to fill the holes for us, but we had plans for the dirt). Highly recommend both companies. Thanks, guys!

Erick did a terrific job for us on two different houses. He improved our view while keeping our ecosystem intact. And after getting the proper permit, he removed a dead tree that was leaning against our home. Fair price and easy to work with. I would recommend Erick and Heartwood Tree Care.

The work from Heartwood Tree Care was beyond excellent. I am so thankful to have finally found a team of horses that worked together seamlessly! I can not say enough about Eric, his crew and the equipment. I had 4 other companies quote about 6 months ago, so I knew pricing. Eric contacted me from a friend bc they knew I was frustrated. I needed a lot of work done all at once. He took the time to explain why I should cut certain trees and why you can’t just scalp a live oak! All I can say is give HTC a call—-you WONT be disappointed. Very professional, clean looking crew, has insurance and with the constant clean up my yard looked better than it did when they got there lol. **I will be using them again ! * Do yourself a favor call, shop around and then call Eric. Get prepared for hurricane season. Also dead trees are a liability to your neighbors - plz tend to your property needs!!

Great team of guys. Great communication, great work, and very reasonably priced. They came out within 2 days and took down a problematic tree in no time at all. You get what you pay for. No complaints and I would definitely call them in the future and would recommend them to anybody that needs tree work.

Eric has performed several tree jobs for me on commercial properties. He arrives on schedule, completes the scope in a timely manner and often goes above a beyond. His prices are more than fair and work is above the norm. My favorite part is how personable Eric and his crews are. They want to do a good job and in my experience that’s everything. I will continue to use his team to handle my tree work needs.

Had four 70-80’ water oaks in our very tiny back yard that needed to come down. Some had termites, one was diseased, all were just fighting each other for light/resources and only growing foliage on one side causing them to lean toward the house. Heartwood did an amazing job getting them all down in a day safely. Bonus points for cleaning up all the mess. Nothing was damaged which seemed almost impossible to me. Erick and his team are the real deal! Very professional and can’t beat the value for the money. Great to have a little peace of mind this upcoming storm season! 10/10 would recommend to anyone even considering a trim or removal!
