Gochnauer Construction Company

The Gochnauer team was very solicitous and kind to us. They were ever-so patient with our questions, requests and suggestions. The subcontractors that they employed were equally kind and attentive. All of this courtesy and accommodation, AND the workmanship has been beyond our most imaginative expectations. It is an understatement to describe the Gochnauer team's workmanship as anything less than artisanal. This was evident when the first foundation pourings were completed. Seeing how meticulously and crisply formed that work was gave a very early indication of master craftspersons at work. Contractors and tradespeople among our neighborhood and church friends, on seeing the framing, and later the exterior and interior walls going up, commented that they rarely had encountered the care and attention to appearance and form going into components that would never again be seen once covered by the materials they would support. The interior finishing has created the nicest environment in which we have ever resided. The team became our friends during the process - not only tolerating our daily inspection visits, but seemingly enjoying our presence as much as we enjoyed visiting them and seeing them in action. (We miss them now that the work is over!) In the time since we've moved in, the Gochnauers returned speedily and happily to adjust a couple items. Likewise, their subs for HVAC and home elevator have been more than responsive to very minor requests for fine tuning.
