Cold Hardy Palms & Bamboo

The results are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Cant stop looking at the transformation. It was like being in a reality tv show except better! We could never, in a million years, have done this ourselves. They had the equipment, the expertise, and the staff. The yard could be a "before and after" in a magazine From first contact, until job completion, including a weekend inbetween was only 6 days! Visited site, discussed , they submitted a computer rendering and pricing, visitied again and made tweaks and adjusted the quote, and 2 days later came and did all the work in one day. 10 stars thumbs up. fully recommend.

After trying to get Palm Trees Ltd. to call me back and to stop by the house for an estimate, I gave up and made one 5 minute phone call to Cold Hardy. I even live on Johns Island - about 8 minutes from both locations. Tim answered the phone immediately and said he could swing by the house within the next hour. He arrived in 45 minutes. He discussed some options, location, and maintenance of the palm trees. I asked how soon he could be back to install. He said he could do it that Thursday - a mere three days away. He quoted me $250 per tree installed on the spot and when I received the invoice, it was exactly that, plus tax of course. The day of the install, he brought two additional men with him to help dig holes and install. They were here and gone within 30 minutes. I couldn't ask for better attention, service, and quality of work. They were truly professional in every way a business should be. Palm Trees Ltd finally did call me back and blamed the weather - I understood and politely told Ollie (the owner) that I had contracted his competitor. Do yourself a favor, don't play games. Just call Cold Hardy.

We initially contacted three dealers requesting written quotes for the palms, bamboo, installation and warranty. We received two written quotes with Cold Hardy Palms offering the most reasonable price. Even more important than the price was the professionalism and helpfulness of James and Tim and their staff. James spent a great deal of time answering our questions and offering us guidance to ensure our selections were truly reflective of our desired outcome. We will most certainly be dealing with them again when we are ready to move into the next phase of our landscaping effort..
