Awesome! Beyond anything I would have expected. They are arborists and tree experts; They climbed up the tree some 30 feet; used ropes to avoid the limbs which were to be cut from damaging my fence. And the guys were most cordial and explained what they were about to do. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Crew, all needed equipment rolled right in on time. Job competed in 4 Hours. Company rep helpful in helping me understand the approval process with the County. So responsive and professional that I have hired for additional work. Large equipment including bucket lift required. Very tricky removal at a fair price.

Dale and the crew arrived before their scheduled time and completed the job of removing of 1) Bradford Pair tree which was extremely close to the house and they removed the tree without any limbs touching the house and 6) Leland Cypress trees all trees had been damaged by hurricane Matthew. Once the trees were down and removed they cleaned up all debris. Very friendly and professional and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs trees removed in the tri-county area. Job well done!

Company was responsive and timely in all phases of job, from providing initial estimate to on-schedule completion of work, including clean-up and removal of all debris. Was only disappointed that as questions arose before and during the job, the arborist who provided written estimate was not present on job site to provide clarification of required work or direction to the crew.

Amy was lovely to work with over the phone. It took a few days after promised for them to come out to give us an estimate, but communication was always open. The crew did a fantastic job trimming the tree, and also hauled away debris and branches left from a FEMA crew the prior week.

The work went very well. But getting up to the work was a bit choppy. Amy was super nice, came out to the house gave me the quote. Told me we could get the work done this weekend! (The weekend after Hurricane Matthew) i thought it was to good to be true. For the price and time frame! Sign me up i said! Communication between amy and myslef was a bit choppy. The work ending up getting done on a tuesday. GREAT WORK! The guys did such a great job. All were nice and professional. I would hire them again in a heart beat. Cleaned up all that they could, even blew off the roof, from the hurricane! They cut all the wood in the proper length and set it by the road. I had to do nothing when they left. Very nice job.

Amy was quick to respond and was available to have the crew removed the limb from the house. As I was not able to get other quotes and there was a hole in the roof-limb in my mothers living room and we needed to ensure no more damage was incurred, we decided to use Charleston Tree Experts. The quote was high but I had no idea how high until other company's advised me that I was basically price gouged. The cost should have been over 50% less. My mother paid when the services were rendered and has asked for a copy of the invoice for insurance purposes and only hearing crickets. The crew was courteous and cleaned up well so an A for them. I honestly don't know how they sleep well taking advantage of people in an emotional state to make a few extra bucks.

Price was unbelievable. We had a tree on our roof from the hurricane and they quoted over $7000.tp remove it. Talk about high jacking the prices

Very efficient operation. Once I made the contact, Amy emailed me quickly and arranged to meet for an estimate. Two weeks after the estimate the service was done. The crew did a great job, cleaned all the debris from the yard. They asked me if I wanted the wood chips which I did and will use later for mulching.

I have worked with Charleston Tree Experts for several years. Always great service and attention to detail. So I called for them to do the job without a quote as I felt their prices were always reasonable and proper. The team showed up on time with all the needed equipment. The team leader (not Marshall, the owner) reviewed the work and presented a reasonable quote. Work began immediately. They expertly took down the trees one by one. I was impressed with their communication and safety protocols with a very dangerous task. They also took great care to minimize damage to our yard from falling trees and limbs. At the end of the job, they completely raked, cleaned and restored our yard from their efforts. Another job that will keep me coming back to Charleston Tree Experts. Since I had Marshall in charge of all of my other jobs, I was concerned that he was not here for pricing, leadership and direction of the crew. My fears were mistaken. This crew worked according to Marshall's high standards. There are other tree removal companies out there. But, as the old expression says, you get what you pay for. Charleston Tree Experts deliver quality work at reasonable prices. My money has always been well spent with Marshall and Charleston Tree Experts.

I got three quotes for this service and was shocked by the wide difference in the quotes. One was over 3 times the price quoted by Amy of Charleston Tree Experts! Amy provided the initial quote on Oct 1. She was very prompt, professional and detailed exactly what the crew would do when they arrived. She noticed a limb from my live oak was hanging very close to my roof and offered to trim it back for free, if I agreed to hire them to cut down both trees. She explained the crews normally arrive early the morning, to avoid the hotter part of the day.. I called Amy back the next day to confirm, and we set a date of Oct 26 for the crew to remove the trees. They arrived around 12:30PM (I was expecting them in the morning, based on previous comments), and confirmed with me what the job entailed. We discussed how far back to cut the limb on the live oak, and they were very accommodating with my request to trim back only what was necessary to eliminate the branches touching the roof. Then the crew began the work on the 2 trees. They were both cut down, and the site was cleaned up very quickly. I did not check the time, but I would guess it was less than 2 hours. They had previously explained to me that they contracted a third party to grind the stumps, and he would arrive either later today or tomorrow. He arrived shortly after they left, and he also did a great job; he was quick and efficient, and left the site very clean. I was very pleased with this entire process; and because I found them on Angie's List, I saved 10% of the total cost of $1250.

The crew showed up on time and began preparing for the work to be done. The crew leader got with me to determine exactly what was to be done, and made a couple of suggestions as to the trimming of the trees. They began work and moved quickly between the 4 trees to be trimmed. They completed the job, cleaned up the debris and hauled it away. The were very courteous and professional in their work and their dealing with me. I was very happy with the results. I would refer this service to my friends and would certainly use them again myself.

Charleston Tree Experts removed a large tree from my property. They arrived on time and were ready to go in minutes. They were efficient and thorough and did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

When I called Charleston Tree Experts to schedule an estimate, they were accessible and came out the next morning to do a walkthrough and provide a quote. They itemized the estimate by tree which was very helpful as we had some we were not yet decided on removing. They also provided good advice on whether our oak and wax myrtles needed shaping up. Once we got ARB approval for the removal of the trees, we were on their schedule in less than two weeks. On the scheduled day, the CTE team showed up promptly, were very polite, and we did a walkthrough prior to starting any work. The team kept me updated continuously throughout the day on their progress and we did a final walkthrough after all work/cleanup was complete. I have contracted with many tree companies in the Charleston area, and these guys are heads and shoulders above all of them, and a great price too. I would recommend CTE to my friends and neighbors.

Marshall and his crew have done work for us several times. They show up on time, do the job well, clean up and leave. A branch broke a irrigation line I didn't know about for a couple of weeks and when I called Marshall for some additional work several months later I mentioned that it happened and we would have to mark the lines next time - he immediately offered to repair or pay for it. Marshall and his crew is always friendly. What more could you ask.

Greatly impressed with the professional knowledge, appearance and attitude of all employees involved. Job was started and completed within time frames provided by management. Crew was able to work around a unfortunate location of an old septic tank. Each crew member seemed to know their parts of the total job and worked very well with all crew members. All members observed proper safety habits. Very efficient crew. Would not hesitate in using the Charleston Tree Experts in the future. Plan on using CTE for removal of the largest oak if a permit can be obtained.

Charleston Tree Experts were available as soon as I decided to have the work done. Price did not change from the original estimate, even though I only had part of the work done. Pricing is MOST affordable! Staff was friendly and professional. Work was done efficiently and thoroughly, with no traces of pine or limbs left behind. I have used them in the past and plan to do so in the future. They are helping me shape the skyline of my landscape to allow even more beauty be seen.

On October 24 I called and left a message indicating what work i needed done. My call was responded to around 2 p.m. in the afternoon. The employee said that she would come out on Monday morning at 9 a.m. or earlier. She said that she would come after school opening. However On October 27 she called and gave me an estimate via phone instead. I don't understand how a company can accurately estimate a job's cost without seeing it.

Amy was very professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable about trees and more. We have lined up more jobs with them in the near future. Would HIGHLY recommend charleston tree experts to anyone who wants a job well done with professionalism and honesty.

I was originally told that it would be two weeks before they could get to me; however they were able to get to me on Saturday after I contacted them. Charleston Tree Experts showed up on time. The job involved removing three badly damaged trees from the back of my yard. There were several complications. The trees were adjacent to my back fence and also overhung both my custom built work shed and a roof covered swing set. They were able to take down all three trees without damaging my fence, shed or swing set. They cleaned up all of the debris and hauled it off without any problems. The entire job was completed in about four hours.
