3-4 MEN ARRIVED, MOVED THE FURNITURE AND HEAVY WALL HANGINGS AND COMPLETED COVERED THE FURNITURE AND FLOORS. THEY DID EXCELLENT PREP WORK- CAULKING AND PATCHING. AT THE END OF THE FIRST DAY, THEY HAD FINISHED THE PREP WORK AND PAINTED THE CEILINGS. THE NEXT DAY , THEY ARRIVED AT 8 AM TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THEY REHUNG THE BLINDS AND RETURNED THE FURNITURE TO ITS PROPER PLACE. OVERALL THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND LEFT MY HOME CLEAN AT THE END OF THE DAY.

Couldn't be happier: this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. From the time Chad arrived, right on time, to do the estimate, until David and his crew drove off waving when the job was finished, everyone was pleasant, polite, punctual, and most of all, professional in every way. They did an excellent job and were careful working around plants and flowers, tolerated a hysterical Rottweiler barking at them all day, and not only left the site immaculate when they were done, but at the end of every day. House looks great, David was very helpful with any questisn I had, and I cannot think of one thing more they could have done to make me any happier with finished result than I am.

The crew did a very professional job. The did an excellent job prepping the house, including power washing, sanding, and calking. The painting went fast and smooth. In short, very well done!

Good estimate, lowest of three. Met with owner, discussed details and my requirements. He answered all questions and I awarded contract. They showed up as promised, some delays due to cold weather (paint can't be applied below 35 degrees ambient). I had asked for all brush applied but noticed they were using small rollers almost exclusively. Talked to company owner and he assured me rolling gave better quality, thicker coat, fewer brush marks. I reluctantly agreed to allow roller. After watching and observing, I think it is better than brush. Only problem was that entire crew was hispanic and only the supervisor spoke fluent English. The supervisor was not on site all the time - probably less than 50% of the time - and that did create some communication issues. However, all were resolved and I would use them again.

They did a very nice job. I had actually hired them to do the outside part of the deck and then I decided I needed them to redo one of the rooms that needed painting. They were very cooperative. I would recommend them to other people and would use them again in the future.

Couldn't have asked for anything more, the service was a 10+ all the way around!

After my wife removed wall paper that was glued to the drywall in our bathroom the walls were a wreck! Charleston Painting Contractors took over and totally transformed our mess. The bathroom walls were skimmed and painted and look better than we could have imagined.

We had an excellent experience. They were quick to come take a look at our house and gave us a very fair price. They started the work within the week and we were impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. All the workers were very curtious and considerate of my family who were around the house at the same time. Overall I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services to anyone.

They were very responsive. They were here every day when they said they would be. They were very professional. My wife and I both dealt with them. We liked the work that they did. They did a fantastic job. When we found things that needed to be worked on they were very reasonable about that. They stuck to the estimate with the exception of a couple of things that had to be added. We got three or four estimates, and they were probably the second highest, but their rating primarily on Angie's List was so good that we opted to go with them in spite of the fact that it was not the lowest price that we got. We are satisfied that we did the right thing.

Chadwick came out to provide the estimate and handled all the scheduling and interaction with the crew. He has a very pleasant manner and was always willing to answer any questions. The house was pressure washed as part of the prep work on a Friday, and the paint crew showed up on time as promised Monday morning. They spent the entire day Monday scraping, sanding, and painting trim. Tuesday they completed the trim and brick painting, and got one coat on the siding. At this point the crew foreman pointed out that the single coat of paint on the wood siding, while sufficient for protection and would be warrantied, was not providing completely opaque color coverage. He offered to put a second coat on a small section at the back of the house for me to compare, and if I then wanted to put a second coat on I would need to discuss with the General Manager. I did choose to have a second coat of paint applied to the siding, at additional cost (included in the total for this review). I was not pressured to have this work done, and was assured the 3 year warranty would apply whether I had it done or not. The second coat of paint did improve the aesthetics, and I feel it will provide additional protection in the harsh environment at the beach. The entire crew was very professional and friendly. The house looks great - very high quality of workmanship, no drips of paint on windows or on the ground, smooth and even coverage all the way around. The work area was left clean and I am very satisfied with the job. I will call Charleston Painting Contractors again in a heartbeat.

Before the start they sent someone to power-wash the house. The first day of work I was surprised when about 10 workers showed up. They got right to work prepping all the surfaces, they put my samples up on the wall so I could choose colors. While they were prepping I chose a color and the supervisor ran to get the paint. It took 1 week (we have a rather large home with extensive decking) to finish. They worked hard, had great attitudes, a few times I asked them to touch something up or do something differently and they did it with a smile! I am so impressed by them and will definitely use them again if given the opportunity!

They haven't started the work yet. We got other quotes and their price was good and we thought they would do a good job. I think they do good work. They sounded pretty good by the way they talked.

I was real happy with them. They did what they were supposed to do. I found a little area that was missed and they were right back out to fix. I was happy with them and I would recommend them.

They came when they said they would, they cleaned up the work area and they did a nice job.

We woke up early on the day they were to begin with two vans in the drive way and about ten men swarming over the house with paint. This one day after the house was power washed. They finished in two days. The cost was within 25% of the estimate. Our house looks brand new. They were on time and worked their butts off while they were here!
