The water coming from the roof leak left damage in my house. Sidney Cowan was going to come and check out the damages so the solar company would pay to fix the damages Sidney left me stranded . Still to this day he has not reach out to me. So I recommend him to no one because he is not dependable. The work he done on my roof was great but he would not come back to do the damage in my house from the water.

We were out of state and had a serious roof leak at our home in Charleston, SC. We werenâ t traveling due to the pandemic and ABC Roofing ( Sidney Cowan) took all our worry and stress away. He went out promptly to assess the problem and sent pictures showing the damaged roof. Upon completion he sent pictures of the repairs. They did an excellent job and were a pleasure to work with. Overall I'm satisfied with the job. We had several shingles replaced from wind damage and a leak addressed at a transition area. Was a little pricey but so far so good.

He DID NOT REPAIR OUR ROOF LEAK. DID A VERY, VERY POOR JOB. DOES NOT FULFILL HIS 10 YEAR WARRANTY. HE was hired to repair area around a dormer in the roof that had been leaking into interior and exterior house window frames. Water was dripping from upper window frame. (While painting roof dormer, I stepped on soft area in front of dormer in roof overhang.) I got two quotes â ABC Roofing and another company. I have an email from him stating that he would repair roof dormer area. HE REPAIRED HALF OF AFFECTED AREA. I went into attic to determine why roof was still leaking It was leaking from front portion of dormer. It poured rain last night. water was streaming down house siding into exterior window framing as well as interior window framing. When I contacted Cowan that we still had leak, he stated he wanted an additional $1450 to repair area continuing to leak. His 10 year warranty is not worth paper it is written on. He repaired half of the affected area, neglecting to repair damaged roof area. WORD TO WISE â DO NOT HIRE ABC ROOFING FOR ANY ROOF REPAIR.

A fair and affordable estimate, prompt response after acceptance and on time arrival for the repair. The work was done extremely professionally and the clean-up was done immediately. Sidney was very responsive and friendly. Unfortunately his painting crew was not very attentive to details, and left a few spots that we had marked to be touched up after our final walk through. Overall, though, the cost was very reasonable and they did a good job on the house.

The company is very professional and they are a small company not like a large company who push you to the side and check on you later in the week. They came out asap and got the job done, I will call them back to do any job they can do on my house. Thank you

It is showing I did not hire this contractor, but I did. After several times calling the company to get my leak repair Now Sidney said that it is a different problem that was not listed on the contract. and he can give me a quote for it. If the roof leaks it should be covered under this contract from work performed by his Foremen Lopez. Lopez would come to my house around 6 pm -about 6:30 to complete work that was called in by me, how can you repair leaks and only spend a few seconds on the roof of my home with a $2 dollar can of sealant, never once speaking to me about the problem or repairs completed by you are your crew. I am very unhappy with this company and will not hire again, beware. UPDATE 12/21/2020: Will lie about the work and try to bill you for more work needed.

The painter came when he was supposed to and completed all of the work I wanted done before he left. The pricing was good and the work was great! I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them.
