Our house has a metal roof which is about 5 years old. The screws used to install it were regular steel and began to rust (we are near salt water.) They were prompt and courteous and seem to have done a good job. The only drawback is they overbought on the screws, I have about 750 expesive roofing screws and I'm not sure what to do with them!

I have never dealt with a contractor that communicated from the beginning to the end of the job, even after the job was done as well as Low Country Roofers and Exteriors co. did . The owner, Chance, was very professional, courteous and punctual. I had originally contaced Tri County Roofers, who comes highly recommended, the previous year about a quote on this flat roof, which they had promptly submitted. However, when I asked that them to submit a quote on an alternate material, they did not return call to formally accept or refuse to do job with alternate material. A courtesy call back, which I never received, was my request, recognizing how busy contractors are and that an additional quote requires time they do not have. After not hearing back, I researched other roofers that came as highly recommended as Tri County Roofers and decided on Low Country Roofng and exteriors Co, which worked out to my satisfaction.. (1) The owner,explained in detail what material they would use on my flat roof and shingle roof, warranties, cost, application, etc up front and later. He always returned calls, prior to installation and once after roof was installed. He came by my house early the day the roofs were installed, introduced me to his supervisor in case I had questions, and discussed the material that had been delivered, explaining how the material would be applied to on the flat roof. (2) As soon as weather permitted, he sent a double crew in to do since they were doing two roofs and he wanted it done in one day. The crew worked continuously from 7 am to 5:30 pm, only taking off one hour for lunch..They were hard working, polite,courteous, and cleaned up throughly before leaving. The owner, called after job was finished, and to inform me that he would inspect the following Monday. (3) He inspected and told me if I had any problems to contact him. (4) When I had a question about something on my flat roof, he promptly responded and had supervisor at my house immediately to followup.

Lowcountry did an excellent job from the first meeting through the final inspection by GAF. They told me what they would do and what the cost would be and they did it! Workers were pleasant and efficient and respectful of our property. There price wasn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and I am pleased and positive I got my monies worth! I will ask them for an estimate when I have the windows on my home replaced in the near future!

Chance ,the owner, personally came the next day after I called to give me an estimate of the job.His written estimate included what materials he would need and how many of each. His estimate was the lowest of the 3 that I obtained and the most complete of what would be done. The same day he gave the estimate he told me the exact date the job would be done and he would call me the day before to make sure I was ready. I assumed with size of my roof (over 5000 sq.feet) It would take 2 to 3 days to finish. . When the workers arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. chance said it would be a long day but they would they would finish that day That day was the same .as the one given at the estimate.I could not have asked for a more professional crew for the roofing, protecting plants etc., and clean up.When I paid the bill, it was the exact amount as the estimate. I would highly recommend Low Country Roofing

The team showed up on a Sunday and was finished in one day. All of the materials used were thoroughly cleaned up and they were very congenial. The pricing options were what sold us.

I would feel comfortable using Lowcounty for future roofing needs. Chance was courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. I did not use them because they recommended a different shingle than I have on another building on my property. I would have gone with Lowcountry, except I wanted to match the shingles with the same manufacturer.

Everything was great. The service was good. The timing was fantastic. The price was good. I have no complaints. They came in, they were professional , and they were fast. They had enough people on the crew, so that it was done right. They were very organized. They had a plan, and an assembly line. I was very impressed when I watched them. Their price was better than everybody. The owner of the company came out to give us the estimate. He followed up with us. He came by and checked on his crew. He came by after the work. He inspected the work. Everything was really good.

Chance was the only one who addressed the damage to the porch roof, and how he intended to fix it. This is why his estimate was the highest, but you don't mind it if it's not "Oh, by the way"! No surprises, just excellent work.

The beginning started off great...It is really sad that it didn't end that way...They give you exactly what you want to here and it is really bad when they take advantage of the elderly thinking they don't know the difference...But I do....shame on LOWCOUNTRY ROOFING....You won't be taking advantage of this customer...

Poorly-no effort made to return calls left requesting a quote about their services.

Chance and his crew replaced my roof in one day. He was not the cheapest but I was willing to pay more for quality materials and a quality installation. I had a good experience and would recommend him to others.

At 7am on the day contracted for a team of 10 people arrived and had to wait 30 minutes for enough daylight before beginning, at which time Chance arriived. As the old roofing was being removed 2 additional people for the insulation install arrived and began their setup. By 10am the insulation was completed and the underlayment on the new roof(s) was being applied. Throughout the day Chance left and returned three times. His very competent supervisor was on the job the entire day. No one broke for lunch and by 3pm the job site was being thoroughly cleaned up including 4 bags of leaves I had sitting in the yard. I saw someone lugging a 20 pound magnet in and around all the shrubs, grass and hard services to assure no nails were left behind. The attention to detail and precision displayed by the installation team was a joy to watch. Just before they left I commented to the crew about how good and how hard they worked. With smiles on their faces they said "thats the way Chance wants it." I am now awaiting for a manufacturer's rep to visit to confirm the install has met requirements for the "Golden Pledge" warranty. Chance says that inspection is critical to his maintaining his Master Elite status. I have no doubt his status is safe. No mater how big or how small your roofing, insulation or even siding job may be. Do yourself a favor and ask Chance to pay you a visit.

The roofer just left me hanging. We had agreed that he would come out on the same day I had called him but he never showed up. I called him again the following day but he again failed to show up or give me any feedback. This continued for 2 more days. I have decided to contacted another service provider.

my estimate was professional and quick from the time i called to having written estimate in my hand, estimate was at the market rates so i signed a contract with him.. on my install date, the crew arrived on time and was professional, they were finished installing my new roof system in less than 6 hours, clean up was excellent, a bit cleaner than when they arrived. i would recommend Lowcountry roofing to my friends and family.

When we decided that we needed a new roof, we sent inquiries to several companies found on the internet and Angies List. Low Country Roofing and Exteriors were the first to respond and provide a estimate. They arrived on schedule about ten days later and did the job in 12 hours , as promised. The management and workers were friendly, professional and hard working. There was no time wasted and no unnecessary noise generated throughout the day. The job was bought and paid for before most of the other companies finally responded to our intial inquiry. So far, we are very happy with our choice and the result.

Excellent service. I called 3-4 roofing companies and Chance was the first one to call me back, and the first one to meet me for an estimate. He was also the most detailed in his explanation of their services. The entire time I dealt directly with the owner and consistently received excellent service. He was personally on hand to monitor the job progress and answer my questions. As promised, they completed my new roof in 1 day, did an excellent job cleaning up, making it impossible to tell the crew had been there by the end of the day.

I could not be any more happy about the work performed by this company. I LOVE my new roof. Everyone was so professional. From the first moment i met the owner for the estimate (Chance) to the completion of the work, i have been extremely satisfied and pleased from start to finish. When I decided to choose this company, he gave me a date that it would be done. The full crew showed up around 7am and the work began immediately. They finished around lunch time!! I was amazed at how quickly and yet efficiently and professionally (and correctly) that things were done. From the removal of the old roof, to the installation of the new roof, to clean up, etc. etc, all was done with the highest quality and expertise. The owner, Chance, came out at the beginning of the job to make sure all was being done correctly, and then also again after the job was completed to go over everything with me. He even caulked something for me on the outside of my house himself when he came (as well as fixed/resecured an outside electrical receptical "hood" that had fallen off). I am very very happy with the work done by this company, and would highly recommend them! I will be using them for window work (later...after i pay this off) :-) I feel that all was top-notch and am very happy with the look and color of the roof. It is just beautiful. And so far, i have only found about 3 nails (which is nothing compared to other people's roof replacements that i've talked to). Outstanding company. All the workers were fantastic as well. And like I said, the owner is someone you can trust and he will ensure the job is done right!!

Chance was very professional and did a great job on the new 30 year roof. He later advised me that he and his guys removed roughly a ton of old roofing materials and that the place should be much lighter. It has been four years and nothing has leaked. Chance also replaced most of the windows at the place and while the window installation was a bit rough around the edges (meant to ask him about that), but they all seem to work and the tenants haven't complained. Overall, he did solid work for the money and I'd definitely recommend him. Good stuff! Want to ask him about a quote for another roof and perhaps about siding too. I trust this guy.

They were highly professional and detail oriented. They did everything they said they would and more. They met and exceeded all expectations. We have referred them to our neighbors and friends. Excellent job, we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Chance and his cew arrived when he said they would and started the job right away. The crew was large enough for them to work on the house and garage at the same time. They removed the old shingles, installed the new skylights, and put on the new shingles very quickly. The ground crew was contantly cleaning up and used a magnet to get up the nails. We are very pleased with the job done.

I called four companies to come quote MAJOR roofing, siding and wood work on our house. I had to call Chance more than once to set up the appt. when I did get the time and day he was late and never receied a quote from him or his company! Guess he didn't need our business or our money!!

I was very happy with everything from start to finish. When I called the office for someone to come out and give me an estimate the person who answered the phone was very friendly and professional. Shannon came and gave me an estimate and they did every thing that was on the estimate with no surprises at the end. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional and took the time to cover all my plants and move all my patio furniture. When the completed all their work and left you could not even tell that they were here. The crew that did my gutters did like wise.as did the fellows who worked on the chimney.Everyone was polite and easy to work with. These people went over and beyond what I ever expected. I highly recommend them.

Several days before the original date scheduled for the work to be done Chance call and let me know that due to an up coming storm front it was best to push the install date back a couple days. They showed up on the reschedule promptly at the scheduled. The attention to detail is what you would want to see in all companies you deal with. I plan to have Lowcountry Roofing and Exterior do future work at my home.

The overall experience was excellent. I was very happy with them. I didn’t get any other estimates, but the price was good.
