We were very pleased with it. Their estimate included everything. They were some unforeseen things that they had planned for that was really nice. We had asked them specifically to do some colors but then, they made suggestions that we might be better off with something else. Those suggestions were good. They made good helpful suggestions.

It went fantastically! These people cared about their workmanship! When they came across anything that was done incorrectly by previous builder they discussed it with us, fixed it correctly and told us why!! They were meticulous about everything they did! 1/2 way through the siding process they had to stop because of hurricane Matthew. When they returned everything they had done was still in great shape! They continued and completed the job thoroughly. Each night they picked up anything left around and were very considerate of our area. The owner, Chanse, knew what was needed, came and checked the process, had great people to do the job, and came when job was completed to make sure we were happy with the work!! Can't ask for more than that!! Finally, we have a roof that does not leak, a great bedroom window that does not let in a breeze when it is closed, siding that is correct so water is not going under it and rotting the wood, and gutters that take water away from the house! I would be more that willing to talk to anyone about the work that was done and allow anyone that would like to see it to view it.

Could never get them to respond to calls or emails to initiate service.

Overall the worked fast, was done in a.day. I love my new roof. I had a.problem with the way the crew was throwing the stuff the stuff off the.house as.they took it off. It went in the pool, nails everwhere, wood thrown off from front. I called owner.and he came within minutes and.took care of it. Only problem was I was due to have ortho surgery and be out of town so when I took my truck to.the.Chevrolet dealer for service they found a roofing nail in one tire( 245.00) Then landscape lights in the front where they threw the boards and majority of the material down some ended in the bushes bent one light, busted one bulb. To get those replaced, I havnt even called them.yet. But what are you going to.do you sign saying the are not responsible for damages. Now I know why! The work is awesome, the cleanliness and be respectful of your property is not. And I didnt call back after discovering these things due to surgery and being in recovery for the last several weeks.

we recently purchased a new home that needed a new roof. Low country did a complete new roof. We had met with three other roofing companies and compared apples to apples. Low country was amazing from beginning to end. He explained everything he would use as far as materials and the installation process. His crew was on time every day and they cleaned up every nail and paper from my yard when complete. The also took pictures from the roof so that we could see the finished product without getting up there. They also took the old roof off all the way down to the wood and repaired any issues before installing the new materials. I can't say enough good things about them

Chance and Christie Nyman and their whole roofing crew are a dream to work with. The quote was provided immediately on request and contained the best responsive price, the crew showed up exactly on time and worked from morning to dark to complete our roof replacement in one day, and did not quit until the complete cleanup was done. Lowcountry Roofing is a true professional outfit, the kind that we all wish for but rarely find. And Christie followed up with us to help us collect on a manufacturers rebate program on the cost of the materials that is available to military veterans. Working with this company almost makes you wish that you had another roof for them to do.

Of course they contracted out for some of the stuff, but he was in charge of it. I would tell you that he was the most awesome person to work with. His people he contracted with -- I loved every one of them. We felt so comfortable with them we actually left for 10 days when they did the roof because we knew we left it in their hands. The price was awesome for what they did for us. We have their card on our fridge, and all their contractors.

Very fast and punctual. The complete job was done in one day. The owner was constantly checking the weather radar for the ideal time to replace the roof without rain hindering the process. An unexpected 'pop-up' shower did occur and the owner came in my house checking the ceiling right away for leaks. His quote was very thorough and comparable to other quotes I received. His crew did an excellent job cleaning up...very meticulous. The quality of work is exceptional!

Superior service from beginning to completion. The crew who did my roof were punctual, professional, and very courteous. Any question I had was answered immediately. Clean up was done extremely well, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Chance Nyman , the company owner, was there each day to make sure I was pleased and answer any question. Excellent from start to finish. First encounter was to evaluate and complete proposal. It was all done in one trip by the owner, Chance. Compared to other qualified roofers, I liked dealing directly with the owner who was the only one to actually go up on the roof before proposal. While there were a couple of day delays due to rain, the crew showed up at 7:30 am and was finished by 7:30 pm even though short a few people. It was such a pleasure working with this crew as they obviously were professional and the hardest working group I've seen in a long time. At the end of the day, all was clean and done. Price was fair and acceptable to me. Did not report price since roofing price depends so much on roof size and characteristics. Let's just say it was comparable to others. We now have a lifetime guaranteed GAF roof installed to their demanding specifications.

I was told the day before that the crew would begin work at 7:00 am. At 6:55 the following morning they began their prep work, covering all my railings, bushes, etc. They then stripped the roof of the old shingles. Covered roof with a moisture seal synthetic felt paper; installed flashing and ridge vents and finally class A architectural shingles! They also installed a drip edge to the entire perimeter of the roof. They continually cleaned up as they went along..I was very pleased. I was told the project would take 11hours and it did..I didn't pay until job was completed and I was satisfied. Long day but it went very well. I would definitely recommend Lowcountry Roofing. Good quality, reasonable, and very respectful and professional!

In providing the estimate, Chance Nyman, the owner, spent about two hours making direct measurements on the roof and discussing options with me. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. He broke down the estimate showing where the costs were. He determined that it would take two days for his 10-person crew to install the new roof and he was correct. The installers showed up on time and did an excellent job. The cleanup was good too. After the installation Chance came by to make a final inspection and to make sure my wife and I were satisfied. This was an excellent and painless experience. I highly recommend them.

They are not the cheapest in town but you definitely get what you pay for. We have the nicest looking roof on our block! We were a little disappointed in the clean up, so when Chance, the owner, realized that he went around and did all the clean up himself! We would use them again and recommend them to anyone!

Chance (owner) came to give us an estimate and fully explain the materials used and the labor process. He was on time, very professional and at no time did we feel pressured to make an immediate decision. One of our neighbors (on our architectural HOA board) highly recommended Lowcountry Roofing & Exteriors. We were given a date when they could do the job and as it turned out they were able to complete the job a week early (another customer didn't have fully HOA approval and Chance is very detail oriented). We were told the job would take one day and the crew would like to start early during the summer. They arrived a 6 AM (on time) and were done by 5 PM. All the debris was removed and by 5:05 you wouldn't even know they had been there. The roof looks fantastic. We would definitely choose Lowcountry again.

They were on time and worked quickly. They cleaned up very well, did not even know they had been here. No trash or anything laying around. The new roof looks fantastic and I am very pleased. We had gotten several estimates and we got a much better product than others were offering and in most cases the price was even better! Chance came by to make sure we were happy and we were and are very pleased. Outstanding!!! It is so nice to deal with someone who does what they say they are going to do!

They did an outstanding job. They followed up with me to make sure I was happy, as well as give me a military discount. I didn't know about the one from the roofing manufacutiring company, they reminded me of it, helped me fill out the paperwork and sent it in for me. They did a wonderful job cleaning up. I found one roofing nail after the job was done.

While replacing the windows, it was discovered that there was serious damage to the roof. Upon recommendations, I called Low Country Roofing & Exteriors. The owner came out and gave me an estimate. He brought in his crew and they immediately began the work. Several areas of damage were found and the repairs made before the roof was replaced. They worked efficiently, quickly, as a team, finished all the work that afternoon and thoroughly cleaned up all the debris before leaving. The price was steep and could probably have been done for much less by another company, but I have no complaints on how the work was done by Low Country Roofing & Exteriors and am totally satisfied with the finished results.

Lowcountry Roofing was recommended to us by my father. He was very happy with his new roof, and I could see the difference it made versus his old roof. So I called and left a message detailing our needs, and Chance returned my call within the hour. He came out that afternoon to look at our roof and quote an estimate. The first thing he pointed out was that the previous owner had two sets of shingles on the roof; instead of replacing the old roof, they just had another layer added on! Chance sat down with us, gave us the estimate, and showed us exactly what he would be doing. This included the removal of the existing shingles (two layers), replacing rotted boards, installing a new liner (much stronger than the traditional felt liners) and charcoal arch shingles, installing two ridge vents, replacing three vent boots, painting all vents and flues black, installing a cricket behind the chimney (to divert water flow), installing drip edge, and repairing the flashing. Although the price was a bit more than I had thought it would be, I understood that we would pay more to have two layers of shingles removed and I still found it fair. We signed a contract and set up date for the roof to be replaced. Chance called the day before the roof was to be installed and asked if he could do it a day early due to the threat of inclement weather the next day. We gladly accepted his offer. His crew came out and had the entire job finished in just a few hours. They cleaned up behind themselves and left nothing that didn't belong. I walked the roof with Chance when all was finished. Our new roof looks beautiful! It was worth every penny. Chance even was able to get us a $250 rebate because I am a veteran. Chance is very professional, doesn't give you the runaround, and gets the job done right. I would highly recommend Lowcountry Roofing & Exteriors to anyone in need of a new roof. You will not be disappointed.
