Steve arrived promptly and completed the work in a timely and neat way.

Excellent experience. Contacted Steve and was given a quote during our conversation. He arrived at the appointed time and proceeded right to work, discovering some gaps, leaks and missing insulation in the fireplace (we had recently bought house). I thought that work would change the price, but it did not. Steve estimated time it would take to do the job and he was on point other than at the last minute we asked if he would install newly purchased fireplace doors. I believe the door installation took longer than the fireplace cleaning and repair. He charged an extra $5 to install the doors. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Professional, honest, personable, knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions (if asked).

Called to tell me he was running ahead of schedule if I wanted him to come 30 minutes earlier than planned. He arrived ontime and we discussed what was and wasn't needed. I OK'd the work and he was finished in 45 minutes. He left everything clean and was very professional. I will call Steve the next time I need this type of work.

Good, prompt service. Nice guy. Fair price. Diagnosed a problem in seconds and told me where to get the part more cheaply than he could. Yea!

They were very pleasant and professional. Arrived on time and got right to work. I appreciated his explanation of common problems and what they needed to do. He immediately upon inspecting the fireplace and chimney announced we were in good shape. Also, it was a very messy day outside but they were very cautious to not leave tracks the floors. This company is fantastic! We had not used our fireplace in years and wanted to start this winter. This company let us know that the fireplace was in good shape and didn't need much cleaning-HONEST. They finished quickly and even explained how to light the fireplace and how often to have it cleaned. This company could have inflated the price and claimed damages we didn't have. I appreciate their honesty.

This was my second time using Steve's Sweep. Each time it was for updating an older rental home for resale. He answers calls promptly and sohws up on time. I am pleased with the work and price.

I hadn't used my fireplace in two years. There was loose trash (leaves, pine needles) hanging off the sides of the chimney and in the firebox, so I called Steve's Sweep for an inspection. Much to my surprise, he said the chimney did not need to be swept and that it was in good condition. He did, however, recommend a chimney cap to keep rain and the trash out. Steve removed the trash and installed the cap. This was a very pleasant and efficient transaction.

Steve came exactly when he said he would, analyzed the situation, found the problem, fixed it, cleaned up and left. Very, very pleased with his work. I've decided to use the fireplace - which now works beautifully - instead of getting gas logs, thus saving a bundle of money.

Steve was on time, very professional and courteous. He concluded that the chimney didn't even need to be cleaned and just charged us for an inspection and a little bit of caulk. He wrote a detailed report that would satisfy any potential homebuyer.
