Description of Work: Cleaned our dryer vents and came out very promptly after I called. The price was a little more than the bigger companies but only by a few dollars. But for a local man who owns his own company and came out within a week of calling, it was worth the extra money. Very happy!

Description of Work: Neighbors were having trouble with bats in their chimneys, so I wanted to get a chimney cap installed. The chimney sweep I had used previously had retired; I was unable to contact him. I called Steve's Sweeps based on Angie's List reviews. Turns out he had bought out my old chimney sweeps's business when he retired. Steve gave me a reasonable price quote to install a cap and a prompt appointment time. I was out of town. He called me from my home when he arrived, a little early, to say that I already had a very good chimney cap. He refused to charge me for his visit. Prompt, professional, friendly. I definitely recommend him and will use him again if I need his services.

Description of Work: I had used Top Hat Chimney Sweet for a Chimney Cap and was charged around $400 for the cap. I thought that was very expensive. When I got around to having the chimney swept I called Steve's Sweep. He was so much cheaper than the price that Top Hat had quoted me and he was so nice and personable. He also drilled some kind of hole in my fireplace that would allow air to come in from the outside to help the fire burn. I can open or close this vent. He actually came back and installed my fireplace doors for free cause I couldn't do it. I recommend him highly and would definitely use him again.
