They did an excellent job, complete with before/after pictures of some of the damaged areas of the roof. Completed the work as promised - on time and on budget. Very professional and responsive.

Chris was very professional and responsive to a nearly endless list of questions leading up to and then after the new roof was installed. We first talked with Chris about a new roof at the Columbia Home Show in March. My wide was very impressed with him and Rennison from the beginning, but I'm a numbers guy and believe in shopping around. After getting several quotes from both small companies and a few of the larger ones, we decided to go with Rennison. Theirs was not the least expensive quote and neither was it the cheapest. But after all is said and done, we couldn't be happier with the experience. The crew replaced our roof in one (albeit very long!) day. They were very nice and professional and easy to deal with. And the roof looks fantastic! In fact, we're now planning to use Rennison to replace the windows in our home. I found Chris to be very responsive to my questions and never had an issue with him not returning messages, etc. I highly recommend Rennison.

It went great. After a very heavy rain the night before, i realized that one of my boots was leaking (and i knew the rest of the boots also needed to be replaced) so i called him early the next morning. By 11am, he had returned my call and set up a time that day to come and replace all of the boots. by the time i got home from work at 5:30, the work had been done. I really appreciated his willingness to fix my issue so quickly. I would definitely use him again.

On April 1, I sent Rennison Roofing and Exteriors, LLC a message via Angie's List to set up an appointment to get an estimate for several projects at my residence (described above). David had performed a roof repair on my home previously to my satisfaction so I wanted to have him do some additional repairs. I heard back right away and we agreed to meet the next afternoon. We met as planned and David said he would have a quote back to me in a few days. On April 7th I sent David a message asking for a status on the estimate. He responded sending his apologies, saying that they were working on taxes and moving their office/warehouse locations and that he would have an estimate to me by the end of day, which he did send. I had some questions about the quote and responded with those questions on April 9th. On April 14th, I sent a message asking for an update. That same day, David responded saying that he had checked on a window option that we had discussed and that his suppliers had not gotten back to him, so he was going to call and remind them. He said he'd have a revised estimate back to me by the 15th. On April 24th, I sent David an email asking for the energy rating for the window that he was going to spec and to see what other size options might be available. There was no response from David. On April 29th I sent another email asking David if he was still interested in doing the work. He responded on May 4th, stating that he was very sorry for the delay, that they had been moving their offices and warehouse for the last couple of weeks and were just getting settled. He informed me that they were leaving for a training session in Georgia that evening and would be back on Friday. He stated that he would try and get some information and get the revised estimate back to me. He asked me to please forgive him for the delay and that he was interested in helping me. On May 17th I again sent David an email asking for a status on the work. No response from David. On May 19th, I called and talked to David. He again apologized and said he still needed info from his supplier on the window sizes we discussed. I also asked if he would add an item to the list of work (replacing a fireplace clean-out door). On May 29th, I called David and left a message asking for a status and that if he no longer wanted to do the work to please let me know so that I could find someone else. David did not respond. The work that David did for me previously was very good and I was looking forward to having him do this job. I gave a grade of F on professionalism, since after two months David did not even tell me he no longer wanted to perform the work.

I am very happy from start to finish. David was very responsive, came when he said he would, and was very organized about getting the work done. He told me when they would be here, and they accomplished the work in 2 days. They were effiicient and thorough in getting the job done. I am grateful for the good work they did and for David's responsiveness to any questions and requests that I had. I would definitely use them again!

David's team replaced 6 large windows in our home. They did excellent work and were kind, courteous, friendly and professional. The windows look fabulous and match the old windows perfectly. We will call on this company again.

Finished in one day, Left the place cleaner than when they started. Very nice and personable.

It went very well took less time that I had expected, I'm not even sure they took a break for lunch.

Recently a major ice storm hit my community damaging many roofs. When I inquired around I was referred to Rennison Repairs and Remodeling; who was also highly rated on Angie's List. Rennison sent Chris Duncan to my home for inspection. Chris informed me that we had extensive damage and would need to have a complete new roof.When I filed an Insurance claim their inspector wanted to only partially replace the roof.Chris Duncan and David Rennison disagreed pointing out many problems that were not included in the claim.When i insisted that the Insurance Company reinspect Chris and David agreed to meet the Inspector at my home to make sure he would not miss any of the damaged areas.The results were entirely different and we were approved for a total roof replacement.All of the effort by Rennison up to this point was free of charge.Rennison agreed to perform all repairs for the amount approved by the Insurance Company. Not only was I completely satisfied with the work performed but also with the extensive knowledge of these Home improvement Specialists and the extent of their efforts on behalf of their customers.

I got a visit from a Rennison agent, who discerned what I was going to need. He immediately got a plumber who sealed a commode upstairs. Then he brought in Eric and his crew who looked over the damage. They got me a written estimate for this job and for fixing my garage ceiling promptly, and showed up on the appointed day. The job was professionally done and looks good, and they cleaned up when they were finished. I would highly recommend this Company.

They explained things and did the work. I was satisfied and they let me know when they would come out and do it. They stood by their work. They were very pleasant to work with but there were some family issues and some stuff going on...bad timing. I thought it was a fair price.

Excellent service! Mr. Duncan is very knowledgeable about roofing and architecture; he is personable and really cares about making sure the customer is happy with the work done. The company is professional, very prompt, and did a wonderful job with the roof and the skylights! I would definitely recommend Rennison Roofing.

Chris the roofer guy was amazing. Everyone I spoke to by phone was professional, and very personable. I got a report from my insurance company that the roof looked damaged. Chris came out to my house, got up on the roof, checked it, cleaned it off and wrote a report to my insurance company. And he said "there is no charge". Punctual, courteous and efficient. I will use these guys for every home repair in future.... I am sending $50.00 for his time. Thanks for an easy, stress free, enjoyable experience Rennison.

Arrived as stated, supervisor stayed on site entire day while roof was being replaced, workers did their work -- no playing around, no loud music, no loud talking. They finished the work as promised, cleaned up debris, swept for nails and removed all debris. I was impressed with Mr. Rennison when he came to give an estimate. He was the only roofer to go on the roof to assess the situation as to why we had a leak. He took pictures and showed us what our roof looked like. The other roofers actually used a global picture of our house, they never physically saw our roof. While the roof was being striped of the old shingles the workers showed Mr. Rennison the bad spot on our roof. Mr. Rennison went on the roof to inspect the spot, took photos of the spot, showed the pictures to us and replaced the wood. They did an excellent job and if needed we would use them again.

Our house and garage were overdue to have the shingles replaced. I have been "burned" by so many contractors in the past that I was very hesitant to start another home improvement project. My mom happened to find Rennison on Angie's List and gave them a call. Chris Dawson came out and spoke with her. My mom (who is very hard to impress) liked Chris and recommended I talk with him. I told Chris that I needed new shingles for my house, garage, small well house, and a dock that sits over a two acre pond. He worked up an estimate and e-mailed it to me. The estimated cost was in line with another proposal I had received. After comparing the two estimates, I noticed that Rennsion's covered a few extras the others didn't. I set up an appointment with Chris and he arrived a few minutes ahead of time. He sat down with me and explained in detail everything he planned to do and how they would handle any problems they might encounter. He explained that because of weather he might call at 9:30 the night before to let me know they would be here the next day. I told him I understood and that would be fine since no one was required to stay at home while they worked. His crew finished the garage, dock, and well house in one day before the snow storm hit. As soon as the snow melted and conditions were safe, his crew came in and roofed the house. When the job was finished Chris walked me through everything they had done and pointed out some details they fixed to add to the life expectancy of the roof. The crew did an excellent job with cleanup. I have to mention one problem that did crop up. The roofing supply company delivered the supplies when no one was at home. They cracked our sidewalk in a couple of places with their equipment. Chris pointed it out to my wife and I and after talking with Mr. Rennsion told us that he would patch the sidewalk even though his company was not responsible. He went to Lowe's in his car, picked up the necessary supplies and fixed the sidewalk. It looks like new and NO! he did not add it to our bill. I had the opportunity to talk with Chris after the job was finished. He is a man of integrity and honesty. I was beginning to doubt if there were any left in the business. I will not hesitate to recommend Rennsion to neighbors and friends. If our family should need any contracting work in the future we will call Rennsion first !

Chris with Rennison replied quickly with my request for an estimate. I don't have anything bad to say about these guys. They were very responsive. I just decided to go with another contractor.

We have used David and his team on a multitude of projects and recommend him to everyone we know. He is thorough, easy to work with, and very fair.

It was wonderful. We had a lot of leaks around some dormers in our roof and they got it fair and started tearing off the old shingles and car paper and he told me that the dormers were in really bad shape and it was close to $5,000 to completely rebuild them which I thought was a pretty good price but he said he could just take them off and go ahead and put a deck down on my roof and roof over it. I said okay and how much it will going to cost and he said nothing and that they will just going to do it. They did a really good job. It looks really good. You would have not known that there were dormers on that roof. It’s as flat as a pancake. I was very impressed. Some of their people didn’t speak English but the supervisor of the group was fluent. They were extremely polite. They just went about their business. So there wasn’t anything else to deal with. It was just amazing how well they cleaned up. The supervisor came back a couple of days later to ask for results. They were just very attentive. I would use them again.

Rennison had a very competitive bid and were very professional and easy to work with during the entire process from start to finish. They performed what they were tasked with in the time they said it would take (re-shingling/repairing the roof) and they cleaned up nicely upon completion. Since the job, there have been no problems at all with the roof. I would gladly recommend them based on the job they did for me.

My roof was leaking and I didnt know who to call or what to expect. Dave came out, looked at my roof, told me what the problem was, and provided me with a VERY reasonable quote. I was expecting to possibly having to pay hundreds if not thousands for a complete roof replacement, but the problem turned out to be somewhat minor. He came, completed the job and even repaired my leaking toilet. No More Leaks! After the service I received, I completely trust Dave and will not hesitate to call him the next time I have a problem. He could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance regarding roofs.

They were on time, and on budget. I'd recommend them and I would use them again.

He came by and met with my husband & I, listened to & looked at a list of jobs we wanted done (depending on price). He said he would send someone from his crew to look on the roof the next week and get us some numbers together on some of the other items. We never heard from or saw him again. Very disappointing.

Had an appointment for an estimate. No one ever showed up or called.

David provided a quote to repair some water damaged plywood, fascia and soffit at the end of a flat valley on my roof. This area had been repaired several years before by another contractor and because of the design of the valley, David wasn't sure if he would find more damage than was visible before removing shingles in the valley. If additional damage wasn't found, he estimated that it would take about four hours to do the repair. If additional damage was found, he estimated what the additional cost may be. Although his quote ($1,000) for repair of the observable damage was slightly higher than another that I received from a non-Angie's List contractor, I felt more comfortable with David's knowledge and his suggested approach to perform the repair so I asked David to do the work and we agreed on a day and time for the repair. David and his crew arrived on time and started into work. They carefully removed shingles (with the intent to reuse as many as possible to keep costs down) to expose the damaged plywood under the shingles. What David found was additional damage caused by the way the previous contractor had done the repair. David assessed the damage and we discussed what he proposed to do to not only fix the problem but what he felt confident would be a permanent fix. I agreed to his proposed approach and cost (additional $500 labor and materials above original estimate). David and his crew removed and replaced the remaining damaged shingles, plywood, fascia and soffit. The repair ended up taking about eight hours. Only time will tell if the repair finally fixes this problem area with my roof, but I appreciated David and his crew's attention to detail in performing their work down to assuring the alignment of shingles, fascia and shingle mold such that you couldn't tell a repair had been made and the finished area actually looked better than when the roof had been done years before. David and his crew were friendly, courteous and did a great job. I would definitely use them again for other work.
