Description of Work: I live in an old house. 1957. I needed to have the last few sections of cast iron removed from under the house. I got it taken care of. However I did have problem with the first guy who came o look at it. He was going to charge me $3000.00. The second guy who came to do the work told me it was not as involved and that the first guy was clearly wrong. He was very unhappy of the first estimate and called into the office to let them know what happened. He said the supervisors would have a strong talk with the first guy. The second guy did the work properly and I was satisfied. $672 was about what I was expecting. I told him they almost lost a good customer. I always check things out under my house after work is done and it looked like all the cast iron is now gone. The cast iron was decaying and causing trouble. This is the only problem I have ever had with Meetze in over 10 years. They are my plumbers and will continue to be so.

Description of Work: Representative was thorough, helpful, and did a good job. The prices for Meetze are ridiculous !!!!!These repairs took 1 &1/2 hrs.

Description of Work: Unclogged sink drain. They were very nice. They even had to wait on me a few minutes.

Description of Work: We heard a bubbling sound in a kitchen sink when the clothes washer was discharging. Meetze first diagnosed the problem as the sewer drain to the street and jetted the line. When that didn't solve the problem they jetted the sewer line under the house. When that didn't remedy the problem they replaced the drain pipe from the clothes washer to the main sewer pipe under the house, and finally when that did not solve the problem they dug up the connector pipe from the house to the cleanout sewer main drain. This problem required multiple visits two of which were late night emergencies when the kitchen sinks backed up There were several different plumbers involved in this process which was resolved in January 2011. TO SAY THE LEAST THIS WAS A VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I HAD RELIED UPON VERY GOOD SERVICE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. The firm also told me that I should replace the main sewer pipe from the cleanout to the street. One of the plumbers gave me an estimate in November 2010 but management said it was not a valid estimate because it was only on a job ticket and not on an estimate form, and more than 30 days ol;d. In January 2011 they wanted to charge two times the estimate given to me in November. At that point I severed my long-standing relationship with the company and have not yet needed to replace the sewer pipe or have it cleaned out again. Now I'm seeking a new reliable and knowledgable plumber.

Description of Work: Our hot water heater had broken and we wanted to up grade to a tank-less water heater. Ask for Lynn, they were wonderful, professional, and very neat and fast!
