Howell Hardwood

I found Howell Hardwood Floor at Columbia's home show. I called to make an estimate appointment. Todd Howell was right on time. Todd told me that he would have an estimate to me by the next morning. The estimate was the only thing he was late with. I did not get the estimate until a couple of days later. The estimated price was fair. Definitely a lot cheaper than some of the other estimates but hired Howell Hardwood because of price AND because I felt I could trust them to do the job right. Happy to say that my instincts were right. I am very pleased with what they did. They even came out to repair a scratch I put in while moving furniture onto the newly finished floors. They warned me that I would have dust to deal with and they were right. Howell Hardwood did clean up the dust on the floors and covered cabinets and counters with plastic. However, dust has a way of getting under all that plastic. But the finished floors are definitely worth dealing with the dust. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

It was great. The estimate process was easy and I was REALLY surprised by the price. Super friendly, knowledgable and scheduling was easy. Going to use him for the downstairs once we are ready to do that project!

Todd and his crew (Chris, Robert, Sam, Kareem, Nate) were fabulous to work with. They came when promised and finished the job as planned. Each man on the crew was pleasant, courteous and the work space was cleaned up when they left each day. The finish had to match the existing flooring in the adjacent rooms and it does. They identified an area where repairs were needed to the subflooring due to an old leak from a previous owner's refrigerator and fixed it on the spot. Todd also sanded, finished (and matched) a place in the family room where a built-in had been removed revealing the extremely dark floor finish from many years ago. I am very satisfied with the work completed by Howell Hardwood.
