The owner returned my calls promptly. The owner and his 3 man crew were very professional and detail oriented. Very respectful of shrubbery, plants and grass in the area where they were working. Owner was concerned about my satisfaction asking throughout the process if work was proceeding as expected and he didn't hesitate to "cut another branch" when I noticed something else that needed attention during the process. In fact when I asked him to trim shrubbery we had not included in the estimate he did it at no additional charge. They did an excellent clean up job clearing all debris when the work was completed. - Overall I have to say work exceeded my expectations based on experiences I've had with other companies in the same field.

Did not respond within 3 days as coupon promised. Came to my house without equipment to perform work after I left work early. Overcharged for work performed. Will not call again.

John Green had to sub contract an irrigation/ sprinkler repair person that was not focused on the job at hand because of his constant use of his cellphone. I had to instruct Ricky Washington of Rising Sun Landscaping Co, to put his phone away and do the job that I paid him to perform. Washington's inaction and poor supervision of his crew caused a day's delay for John Green's. Once all of Washington's work was completed John and his two man crew began clearing the old sod and replacing the new. We did a sprinkler check and found that a pipe had burst in the sprinkler system and all work was halted until the next day. I tried calling Washington and once he answered his phone, he said that he would be at the job site "first thing in the morning on 4 April. Washington finally showed up just before Noon and got the break repaired. Washington's action has caused John Green and his crew time and a bit of frustration, not to mention frustration on my part. The job was finally completed, except for a few missing pieces of sod. John did a good job, but he needs a new irrigation/sprinkler subcontractor. Unfortunately for John Green the lower ratings do reflect his choice of subcontractor since Ricky Washington of Rising Sun Landscaping Co. performed so poorly and gave the impression to us that he had bigger and better jobs to be completed.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out really well. He did a good job. The trees were quite large and I knew it would cost more than we purchased. He was prompt, he responded very quickly, I thought he did a very good job, and he cleaned up very well.

It really didn't work out that well. I'm waiting on him to come back and do some re-work. He promised me he would. At first, he told me he was going to be here at a certain time. He didn't show. He said he got caught up in some other work. I understand his time but my time is precious, too. There were things that I had delayed so that I could meet with him. He did come last Saturday and he complained. I really didn't care for him. We got the job done but he's got to come back and re-cut the branches so that they can be disposed of by the city. I told him to make sure his crew cuts them sort. I told him if they're long, they're going to be out beside the road. When I got off work, there was a tag on it saying it was too long for the city to take. He hasn't come back. First, I was going to call a friend of mine to come by with their truck so that we could do it. Then I decided I shouldn't have to do that. He wanted to charge me more. He was complaining that out of $149 all he was going to get from Angie's List was $96. That's between Angie's List and him, not me. I think he was saying it in front of his crew, so the crew could see that he wasn't getting much money and he wouldn't be able to pay them. I don't know what it was. It was very unprofessional. The $149 was affordable and I think I got my money's worth.

John, the owner, came with two teens for helpers. They worked hard with a pole saw and ladders to do the trimming. Then cut the oak with a chain saw. Basically, I wanted open up my lawn to more sun and he cut as many limbs as he could reach, having no means of climbing the tree (he subs out that service and I didn't want to pay for that). They were helpful and polite and hard-working. Removed the downed limbs as well.

Mr Green met with me and provided a written estimate days prior to work being completed. Mr Green listened and discussed with me the work I wanted completed. Mr Green and his crew arrived and completed all tasks timely and professionally.

The day of the estimate, Mr Green came on time and helped me scale back the work to what could be accomplished within the Angies List deal. He also provided an estimate to my neighbor for some work on her property and they negotiated a price. Unfortunately, Mr Green's truck broke down and he was unable to arrive on the scheduled day for the work. When the truck was finally repaired, it rained which delayed the work again. Today, he accomplished my job. Mr Green did a good job with the cutting and his crew did clean up. I decided to pay them extra to haul away the branches.

So I bought the deal which was $149 for $300 worth of work. The gentleman called me to set up an appointment to look at the work right away and came over a couple days later. My husband met with him and came up to my office with a card saying that it would be an additional $275 to do the job I wanted. I went down and met with him and we negotiated down to $125 although I thought that was still a little high. We set up a day for them to do the work. They came out to do the job and when they were 'done' i went and looked at the job. There was not enought cut off of the tree and I let them know and they cut more off. I would have preferred even more but I don't really know what my husband agreed upon. They did a wonderful job of cleaning everything up. Overall they were very professional and nice to work with and I would recommend them.

He showed up on time and finished the job in one day as promised. If they had more equipment they could have finished it in less time. Aside from a little damage to surrounding shrubbery there was no damage to the garage or a nearby barn. They were polite and worked hard. The final price was as quoted even though there as an unexpected cost to dump the tree material in the landfill.

John and his crew came on Wednesday and did the work. They were here for a few hours and did a very nice job. Considering that my list was a variety of different jobs that needed to be completed, I was pleased with the results. They actually completed the work ahead of time, performed each job skillfully, and cleaned up behind themselves. John and his crew are a pleasure to work with.

I had purchased a coupon offered by Mr Green via Angie's List. $150 worth of work for $49.00. Mr Green was to call me to make arrangements for work to be done NLT 1/14. He called on 1/15. After we made connection he (he said he would be out either evening of 15th or morning of 16th) he arrived on morning of 16th and we discussed what I wanted to be done and price. This is the area where I have concerns. We negotiated a price of 975.00 which I thought was very high, but this was my fault. I did not discuss a discount. I accepted the price and Mr Green performed the work as stated above on the evening of Sat. 1/18 and afternoon of Sun. 1/19. I was pleased with the work except for the price - which I am partially responsible for. I am 77 years old and was not feeling in the mood to negotiate. Besides I thought the voucher would mitigate the high price. In looking at the checks/voucher/receipt I find that I Mr Green did not give me credit for the voucher. I am contacting him to get the $150.00 reduction in cost. Even at that, I find that the cost of this work was not in line with other professionals. If you do business with Mr Green, and/or have one of the recent vouchers, I would suggest you get 2nd estimates before agreeing to have him do the work -- as I should have done. Additional info posted on 2/6/14: Ref discussion of price above. Mr Green and I negotiated a different price, which included the voucher. The original price & payment was a misunderstanding for which I am partially responsible. I have changed the letter ratings to reflect the negotiation on 2/6/14. Mr Green is very professional and is concerned about pleasing his customers. He does excellent work.

Mr. Good came out to my home the day after I contacted him to inspect my property and meet with my husband and I. After agreeing on what was to be done and a fair price, he returned the next day with his staff. Everything was completed within a few hours and he took away the bushes I did not need and clean up my yard before he left. He and his staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use him again in the future!

John and his team left the yard looking great and there is work was performed quickly and on budget. We have used John and All Good several times and we have always been impressed.

John and his team did a great job and they were very responsive. They left the yard look great and surface prepped for grass. Highly recommended. I have used John's team several times and it has always been great.

Stump removal excellent, but seemed a little expensive. Then, even in Winter with no lawn, he still demanded the $130 per month to come and mow (nothing) and blow some leaves. Less than 30 minutes on site, two times a month, i.e. $65 every two weeks. Charged $330 for 45 minutes for him and another guy to spread 4 yards of mulch in my front yard. Others told me they'd do it for $100.
