Did a good job but it did take a bit longer than they planned for.

The jobs were all done quite well! The workers who came were friendly, focused on doing a professional job, and accomplished a great deal in good order. I also have to commend their office staff who responded promptly to our questions and concerns and followed up on everything. The price was fair, and the work was well done. We will certainly be contacting them for future projects.

Matt came out to do the estimate and had it to me that evening. I called Paula to schedule the work. I was told to expect the worker between 8 and 8:30am. Dan was there and ready by 8:15am each day at the latest. The first day was the bulk of the work (replacing trap, replacing toilet, tearing out drywall, assessing the spigot) followed by a 1/2 day (installing, taping, mudding drywall and replacing the outside spigot) and a third brief visit for final sanding of the new drywall. Work was excellent. This is the 2nd time I've used this service and will continue to do so.

They were quick to respond. He did an excellent job. They did not leave a mess at all. The price was reasonable for the work they performed.

First of all he showed up late on the initial date that I scheduled, two weeks in advance, he showed up didn't even attempt to wipe his feet as he entered my home, wasn't concerned about keeping the shower base or anything clean as he worked on it with his shoes on , ladder on it as well , by the time he left base was scuffed and dirty!!!! He didn't seem concerned about cleanliness,Plaster job was ridiculous!!! Used amateur fiberglass tape which wasn't even on wall rt , strands of mesh tape were all over sticking out, installed a second sheet of 1/2 inch drywall over another sheet instead of cutting the first sheet he simply threw another sheet on top!!! Idk y??? So I have a 10' wall with two sheets on one side!!! And told me that's fine!!! Drywall wasn't cut rt ,bowed out on top of base so basically the bottom of drywall was curved not even square or close !!! I'm going to spend more $$$ fixing what this guy did!!!! Total waste of $$$ !!!! Look elsewhere before hiring these guys !!!! Sloppy sloppy workmanship!!!! Not too mention the guy had the nerve to say I only paid for one day of labor, when the contract says a complete shower install!!!! Estimater said a complete shower to be installed, well the guy tells me to call his personal cell # not th actual business, because he's a liar and wanted to finish the half a** work he did on his own time and probably try to hustle more $$$ off me on his own , idk......but I paid for a shower and got a shower valve and base installed wrong!!! That's it !!!! For $360 ha !!!! What a joke!!!!!! I called and complained and they Offered to come back, I specifically asked not to send same guy and what did they do send the same guy !!!!! Bush leaguers!!!!!

They are definitely cost effective but at the same time they are very friendly. They are upfront about everything. They are willing to work with us around our schedule to make things work. The first time that I called them, the receptionist did not give the message to the owner and he ended up calling me back and apologized. He literally went above and beyond to make sure that he'd return my call and whatever questions I had were answered.

They did the work in my bathroom in September. I had to hire someone else after the leak from the wall of the new fixture that was installed by Above and Beyond Handymen service. They did a lot bad and I'm still dealing with all the problems of the sloppy work. I was very disappointed because they had such high A plus ratings and reviews from people and I don't know how they got that. The owner seemed to be knowledgeable on what he was doing. I wished he would have used his communication with me to tell me what he was doing and the two guys installed the medicine cabinet with a chip and that's what they did tell. The job was done as a new medicine cabinet in the bathroom. I had a regular double hong window in the bathroom and I asked them to replace it with a glass block ponying window I had delivered to my home and he did a good job on that. That is about the only thing I can say that I'm satisfied with. He removed out the cheap tile floor, removed the closet from the bathroom, removed the vanity sink in the toilet and the water softeners. The only thing that stayed in was the tub and all the walls. I had an electrical outlet put in and added a GFI outlet and they made three holes in the wall before they had the right place to put the outlet. In the opposite side of the wall one outlet was not working and I explained to them why one of them wasn't working and I explained them why one of them wasn't working and I asked them to take a look at the other. He couldn't figure out the one I said had a problem and I said don't worry about that helped and took a part from the one that was working and now it doesn't work any more. I has been a nightmare. I'm still trying to fix my bathroom. I purchased almost everything and I had them install it, so there was very little that he needed to complete the job. I regret not buying the floor leveler and he didn't speak to me about it. he put the tilet back in after they replaced the floor where the toilet is at, so there was a little wood there and it was soft, he didn't show it to me and I walked passed him and saw it. He fixed it and put a new Armstrong vinyl sheet floor that I purchased there where the floor was fixed. I feel like I'm going to fall over or that I'm losing my balance when it's time to go to the toilet. The floor wasn't put in properly that is why there's an extremely light caulking job done around the floor of the bathtub and around the brand new tubs that they installed for me and there's a crack one of the three panels of it. They didn't tell me about it. Everything they touched there was something wrong with it, even the brand new toilet itself was okay but we purchased a special seat for it and they scratched it and denied. It was the only thing I brought up and they denied it. He reimbursed mme for the toilet seat only. I was satisfied that the window was put in properly.

Our tenants seem to have no complaints. We were happy with the price and the fact they were able to come out that week and get it taken care of.

It went very well, they showed up on time, and when he left , the place was spotless

All requests were fulfilled with few issues. All trash was removed and all the areas cleaned up. Work was done expeditiously. An added task involving a screen repair was delayed due to the slow response from them.......had to call them.

I originally called Above and Beyond a month ago to reschedule service that I originally scheduled. They never called me back. We waited a couple weeks and called them again. They were scheduled to come out either on the 4th or 5th. They never showed up, but called a week later. I would have been happy if they would have called and told me right away that they couldn't make it and rescheduled, but a no call no show goes in the "F" category for me. I went with someone else and I am happy with the responsiveness and work provided.

I spoke with someone on Thursday from the company. I was told I would receive a call back on the same day. It's now Monday, and still no call. I will try someone else.

This was the most wonderful experience I've had with a handyman. Not only did I receive a quote quickly and accurately, but Dan showed up within minutes of his promised arrival, was pleasant and hard-working. He took the time to explain what he was going to do with a problem that came up with the prior installation of the old doors and was both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company/service to anyone looking for a reliable handyman.

An absolutely wonderful painting and repair job. Even the neighbors who were watching the whole process came over to tell me later that Matt and his crew did an outstanding job. The house was my parents and had not been painted in over thirty years so there was much prep work to do in the first place. Plus Matt was able to match the trim color to the color of the metal framed windows. We also appreciated that Matt was always on time for appointments and his estimates were thorough and easy to understand. The interior of the house will be next!

The service was provided in a timely and professional manner. I didn't have to clean up after them like for some providers I have used in the past. They arrived on time and did a very professional job. You can't tell where they replaced the damaged dry wall. I didn't have to wait for them to schedule the work. It was done within a week after the estimate was given. I was on a tight schedule and they were able to get the job done on-time. I definitely recommend them and would use them again for other repair work.

All went well. The french doors look outstanding. I picked them out from Menards, but they picked them up and installed them. The kitchen cabinet handles were also done without any concerns. they did ask where I wanted them positioned. all went well.

Contacted Matthew about having rear entry door and storm door replaced. He replied with his price, and even offered to pick the doors up from the store. After I purchased the doors, he picked them up, then we set up an appointment to have them installed. Install went smooth, everything works as it should, and the doors are sealed tight, ready for next winter. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away the old doors. Very professional, would recommend to others, and will use them for future jobs.

We had to reschedule several times do to conflicts with my schedule and his but once we were able to connect he did a very nice job. I just emailed him regarding another job that I wanted an estimate on so that speaks to the quality of the job.

Wow! Am I impressed! Matthew fixed everything on the honey-do list that had gone undone in our house for years, in just a few hours. He was professional & I didn't feel like I had to supervise him. He went to 3 stoors to find the door bell I wanted. Now that's service! He didn't complain at all about my fussiness. He even sent us a follow-up email, thanking us for the business. We have a new list going for Matthew and we are thinking about having him install some new shower doors for us. I would not hesitate to hire him again. Great service, at a very reasonable price!

Everything was great and even on short notice and for price agreed. Have used them in the past mainly at my rental property. There they have installed all brand new windows, drywall, cement repair, new counter, sink, painting, blown in insulation, cleared landscaping and cleaned out garage. Also have hired to take care of snow removal at rental and my own house. Next on my list is finishing basement. It's nice that you can call a handyman, go over scope of work, have them arrive when they say they will, not leave a mess, and finish the the job. It never mattered whether I was calling for a small job or one that was large. A+!!!!!

An individual came out the next day and performed the requested service. All debris was removed as well. I discovered why the previous owners had shutters installed beside the front door though - damaged brick. I wonder if Above and Beyond performs brick repair...? I have other minor home projects that I plan to schedule through Above and Beyond.

Very thorough and punctual. I would and will hire this company again.

Very quick response, came on time, fixed our tub and drywall ceiling where the tub had leaked. Very friendly and efficient and cleaned up after the repair.
