DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY PRICE GOUGE. Brad, the repairman, came on Friday and looked at the non-functioning ice maker. He stated the ice maker needed to be replaced after a quick glance and little inspecting.. When I questioned what was wrong as it was a fairly new, he simply stated they just don't make stuff like they used to. He stated he would get the part and install on Monday. That should have been my first clue that this was not a reputable business. But as the service call was $89, and that was to be deducted from the total on Monday he assured me, i agreed to the service. BIG MISTAKE. Brad came back on Monday and replaced the ice maker, but when I received the total bill, there was an increase in the quote I was given on Friday. According to Brad, the water valve also had to be replaced for the warranty to be effective and that was the reason for the increase. Nothing had been mentioned of this prior to his return or at his return. Sounds like a line to me. So, you just did the extra work and did not bother to tell the customer until it was time to pay? What reputable business does that? He never would answer the question, and tried to make it my responsibility to have asked if there was an increase, like I have a crystal ball that I should have known, and asked about the extra cost. He was very argumentative and talked in circles without giving a straight answer. He also lied about taking the invoice I received from him on Friday. First, he stated he did not take it and left it on the table with the one from today. Then 2 minutes later, he stated there is only 1 invoice per service, and he had torn up Friday's invoice. Then another 2 minutes later, he had left the invoice on the table again. I asked to talk with the owner of the business and Brad stated he ran the business as the owner lived out of state. He stated he didn't even talk with the owner, and he stated the owner would not take calls, that he was the one in charge. Really?? Wow. That explains a lot. Please learn from my mistake and don't get taken by this company like I did. Find a reputable company to do business with, one that is honest, and up front about charges.
