STEVE CROMER

Mr. Cromer came and gave me an estimate with the understanding that he would not be available until the beginning of December. He called back when he finished a job early and was able to start on our job two weeks earlier, beginning with the deck to hit two days of perfect weather. He provided all materials and I found out afterward he had upgraded the bedroom paint to a pearl finish instead of flat. Very knowledgeable, very professional work (used one helper and does not use a sprayer on principle). I accepted his estimate because it seemed reasonable although I have never contracted for painting before. I was impressed with his professionalism, and I also discovered he is a long time friend of my neighbor. Truthfully, he asked me not to say how much I paid but I have to to fill out this report, so I hope this is not a problem. He does no advertising and gets his business from referrals. I happened to get his name from this list and then forgot where I got it.

Steve was on time with his estimate and started the job when he said he would. He has a truck with all his supplies and he parked in our driveway for the three days he was working in our home. He was very neat and covered everything in each room. He put everything back in its place when he was done. He cleaned up every day and worked steadily till the work was done. We especially liked that he ate a sandwich for lunch and did not leave the property.

Steve did a very good job. He cleaned up well after himself every day, and the work took about one and a half weeks to complete. He was very professional and detail oriented. The trim and the windows look fine.
