P and P was extremely professional and very efficient. They estimated the work to be done in 5 days and they were done in 3! Their responsiveness and follow-up was great. They also cleaned up after the project was over. It was a pleasuring working with them and we'd hire them again should the need arise. Our only regret is not hiring them sooner!! Fantastic overall.

Peter did a great job. He was always on time, friendly, willing to try new things to get to the right solution for the job. Very professional and seems very focused on making sure that he is doing a good job. Pricing was fair.

When the contract was signed, Peter agreed to start on Monday 03/19/2012. With Peter's help I was able to get the proper permits in hand on 03/16/2012. On the day I received the permit, Peter informed us that he would not be able to start the job on the day we had agreed on, but rather just be able to drop-off his things. He still wanted to get a 3rd of the money to buy material. He also told us that he was not going to be able to work that Wednesday. He dropped off his stuff on Monday 03/19/2012 and I gave him $3,500. After working one full day on Tuesday 03/20/2012, Peter and his crew were able to frame up 3/4 of the basement. Peter did not return on Wednesday to do any work. Thursday morning I asked Peter about the following items: Why was my cable not working correctly when I arrived home on Tuesday night ( I have Verizon Fios and my HD channels weren't working ) ? I spend over an hour on the phone with Verizon to fix the issue that night. Why wasn't the washer and dryer covered after he said he would cover them ? My wife didn't want her washer and dryer full of dust and asked Peter to cover them and he agreed to cover them. Why were there protruding nails from the framing near the electrical box and Fios power box ? Why, just out of courtesy, didn't he ask before putting his sign on my property ( or just let me know ) ? Would he be installing mold resistant drywall in the basement ? He told me that I would need to pay him extra for the mold resistant drywall and that it was not required by code (but he knew I had just put in a new french drain and been running a dehumidifier). With only 100 linear feet of wall, the difference in price was less than $90. He was either sorry or didn't have an answer for my other questions. I told Peter that he was highly recommended and that I had expected higher quality workmanship and professionalism. I mentioned that his quote was not the lowest I had received but I had used him regardless thinking he would exceed my expectations. I wasn't expecting him to ask for more money. With that, Peter said he was done; and he walked off the job. He gave me $1,000 before leaving with his things, and later told my wife that he'd send us a check for $200. Now I'm out $2,500 and I still have an unfinished basement, but now with 3/4 of the framing up. Peter also left behind a few rolls of insulation and the uninstalled utility room door. Update: We received the $200 from Peter on 03/24. My wife had also talked to him on the phone requesting that he send an itemized receipt of the materials bought and labor. Peter refused to provide a receipt.

Peter was very responsive, came by, gave us a written estimate within 24 hours, and was easy to work with and book suitable dates. He and his team were so nice, organized, clean, hard working, quiet, and did the work in 1/2 the time we thought it would take. Excellent work painting tough mouldings and high ceilings. Would definitely use him again.

We wanted to replace two sliding glass doors but also had some water damage from run off from the deck. Peter (Pand P) gave us a practical solution for water drainage and installing the doors, He also provided us concise information on how the work would be completed, the materials required and what exactly we needed to do. I would recommend a visit from Peter for any contruction project because he has so much experience and because of his professional integrity. We interviewed several companies for this project and Peter stood out. It seemed as though several companies were either not suited for the project or they were interested in selling us more services than what we needed. Peter kept the project within a reasonable budget and the quality of work was superior. Pand P will be at the top of our list for future projects.

I was referred Peter by a Mason who I got from Angie's List. He is totally reliable and very nice to do business with. His prices are very reasonable. He is an all around handyman.

Here's what we really liked about working with Pete: - Friendly and courteous - Patient and communicates well. Explains what he is about to do clearly. - Finish work on time (and sometimes ahead of schedule) - Detailed work. ie: Cutting trims to fit the oddly shaped gap caused by an uneven wall. - Good customer service. We noticed that a tile seems to have settle unevenly. He came back and popped it out re-set it. - Responsible and trust worthy. We were not home during most of the remodeling. Everything turned out great. We will definitely be contacting him again when we have more work around the house.

I obtained estimates from local contractors with high ratings from Angieslist. Peter's estimate was markedly lower. More importantly, Peter started the job on the date he said he would start, worked everyday and finished the job on schedule for the price he said he would charge. Peter's work crew was polite, well-spoken and personable. The work itself was first rate. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Peter and his company, P and P Home Improvement. From the start Peter was professional and friendly. He was punctual, clean and had a very high quality of work. I would use Pand P again and again. You don't find many contractors that finish on time, within budget and with great quality!

He did the work while I was at work and it was completed when I arrived home. no issues...

Peter has a wonderful eye for detail and will assist you to create ideas for how the job should look when completed. He is very thorough on the work he wants to complete for his clients and neat! Would recommend him to anyone!

Pete did all the work, and even going to the supply center and picking up the correct shelving for the laundry room. as I had all the pieces confused!

His attention to detail and the workmanship is fantastic! He removed everything from the bathroom, he didn't ask me to do it eventhough I would have. I was running around with the kids when he got there and he just went on his way. Than the bathroom turned into other work that me and my husband have been neglecting. He repaired our back deck and steps, put lattice around the deck, it now looks fantastic and finished. His follow up and feedback was great, definitely worth a call.
