SNELL & ASSOC

We had Snell and Associates (Gumtree Nursery) do our landscaping on a 1/2 acre lot as part of a new build. Mike did a great job partnering with us to design and refine our plan. Tom was great and addressed all questions and had some great suggestions. Dalton was our project manager and everything went according to plan and schedule. From coordinating the irrigation, to planting trees and plants to sod and pine straw. We are so happy and they even said they will come back in a few weeks to ensure enough pine straw is in place and everything is growing properly. We are also pleased to know of the one year warranty. We would definitely use them again and have recommended them to a couple of people now. Well done guys and thanks for making our dream home that much better. Cal & Virginia Richardson, Hampton Lake.

When we purchased our home the landscaping had been ignored for many years. Mike developed an attractive and affordable design. The crew arrived as promised and completed a large job in a few days. Changes were also made in our irrigation system to use less water and allow us to water plants more efficiently. Mike has stopped by several time to check on the health of the plants. We cannot recommend Gum Tree strongly enough.

Their name changed, that is why I am having trouble remembering. My parents live with us, we have an in-law suite, when we started this years ago, they wanted to take care of the bill to contribute, and pay for it. I think it's $280 a month, but, I'm not positive. We have a big yard. They are supposed to do other things, but, they don't. If you want me to rate them, we're actually thinking about calling some other people to get some prices. They actually used to be pretty good, they changed their whole crew of guys, the original crew were all Hispanic, and they did a great job. I think there was a problem here with illegals and the economy, a lot of them couldn't stay here, so they all left. Snell and Associates had illegal problems so they got rid of them and got a new crew of guys. They're lousy, we have weeds everywhere, I have to do a lot of the work, we were happy, now we're not, and we've been discussing calling someone else. We've been dealing with it, I wanted to train them, and I went out and politely said, "Guys, go over and pull those weeds." I wanted to train them, give them some time, give them a chance, but it's not sinking in, and they're just not getting it. I'm just used to the original crew doing a very good job. If I tell them to do something, they do it, but, I shouldn't have to be out there every Friday. They are on time every Friday. I'm using them right now, but, I'm going to change.
