PAUL LANGAN PAINTING

This was the easiest project that I have ever handled....because I did not have to handle it. Once Paul took on our project, he managed the whole project. He made our project turn out better than we had ever imagined all while staying on budget!! 100% recommend and we only recommend businesses that we have full confidence that they will not disappoint.

The quality was superb and Paul communicated frequently regarding progress and costs for my additional requests ( off proposal). His staff was friendly, personable, responsive and exhibited an extremely customer satisfaction mindset. I was referred by friends to Paul and would not hesitate to refer him to others

Paul certainly knows how to sell the job boasting that his workers are the best and he uses "lifetime warranty paint". Guaranteed 5-7 years out of the job. He was at my house for 2 weeks and as the end of the second week approached he was on his guys to hurry up so they could start a new job and it showed. The stain on the porches was applied so thin that they had to come back and redo them the next year and then he had the nerve to try and charge me another $1,038.00. I paid him over $14,000.00 for the original job. This amount was more than double all the other estimates I had gotten, but he came recommended to me and I thought I was paying for quality work. After 2 years the house began to fade in places and some of the woodwork started to wear away exposing bare wood. I called to discuss with him suggesting maybe the paint was defective. He is king of defense and master of deflection. He told me to take a picture of the paint can with the batch numbers and he would take it to Sherwin Wiliiams and investigate. I did that along with pictures. 2 months went by and I heard nothing. I contacted him once again and right away he went into defense mode stating he was tied up and it was going to take too long to drive to my house. He then refused to talk to me and would only converse through text messaging. He sent several messages blaming me for not contracting with him for yearly painting and then had his office send me an inflated email filled with boastful words of how professional they are and refused to stand behind his work. I should've seen the red flag when I first introduced him to my husband and he said, "I'm glad to take your money". The old saying, "you get what you pay for" doesn't hold true for Langan Painting. This guy is nothing but a thief and a liar! Customer service at it's worst!
