 + 0 moreWhen I dropped the rug off I was told that it may be ready for pickup the following day. This info was volunteered, I wasn't in a hurry. I called the next day and was told it usually took a week, they would call me. They never contacted me, I called a week later and was told it had been ready. When I picked the rug up they told me they had cleaned it twice, it looked good, they did a nice job.
Description of Work: Had a small oriental rug cleaned.

 + -1 moreGoing into this process, I warned Mighty Mac that the carpets were in bad shape. I really didn't believe that they would be very successful. To my surprise, their steam cleaning process made an amazing difference and improvement in the look of the carpets and home. My mother's home is going on the real estate market and the carpets look so so much better.

 + -1 moreChristan and his assistant did a great job.... prompt, courteous, and professional. We will definitely be calling them back next time we need our carpets done We had a close bid from another company but couldn't get a time and date for them to do the work. Mighty Mac worked us in as quickly as they could and were right on time.

They worked with our on-island management company to schedule the work to coincide with our first guest of the new year. Our guests always comment on how clean the carpets and floors are in our unit.  + 0 moreAfter the wet summer we experienced and since it had been a couple of years since we had our area carpets professionally cleaned we decided to have them done at a local facility. Most places come to your home, but with wood floors we preferred to have the 3 carpets cleaned outside our home. Therefore we called and brought the rugs to the facility on Arrow Rd. Hilton Head Island. They had been cleaned previously in MA at a facility that cleaned them in a large machine. The Oriental carpets were cleaned and did look nice. However, we did not realize how soft and really nice the carpets were until they were cleaned by Mighty Mac Inc.. We were told they actually clean them by hand. Wow! What a difference in the finished product. The carpets are so soft and the definition in the pattern can be felt so easily that I love walking on them barefoot. I don't recall the price we paid previously to have the three carpets cleaned, but there is no comparison in the finished product. Mighty Mac Inc. did one fantastic job.
Description of Work: Cleaned 3 Oriental area rugs. Two 5 x 8 and one 4 x 6.

The appointment was easy to set up and the lady asked the right questions so that she understood we needed a treatment that would help a visitor with allergies to dogs. Plastic edging was placed on corners so that the hoses did not scrape off paint. Very impressed with everything and highly recommend them

 + 0 moreI was new to the Hilton Head area and had no knowledge of the floor cleaning companies. I researched Angie's List and found Mighty Mac. When I called the company to arrange for an estimate, I was impressed with the fact that their staff had extensive training in their area of expertise and they had separate crews; one for the carpet cleaning and another for the hardwood and tile floors. When service was performed, I was very impressed with their staff. They were extremely knowledgeable and most competent. After cleaning, the carpet looked new, and the hardwood and tile floors looked fantastic. I highly recommend this company - you will not be disappointed!

 + 0 moreThe Mighty Mac team of two professional technicians arrived early! Since when does that happen? They politely introduced themselves, took off their shoes and evaluated the carpets. They then went back to their truck-powered system and brought in all of the tools they needed. They wore booties, and they brought corner bumpers. Very impressed! One carpet needed spot treatments, which they did right away. They thoroughly cleaned 4 bedrooms and a large walk-in closet. The carpets literally look -- and smell! -- like new (they are 3 years old). The charge was $150, but they easily applied the 10% Angie's List discount (thank you, Angie!). I definitely will hire them when my carpets need a refresh. I highly recommend Mighty Mac.

Description of Work: Called for appointment, came on time. Discussed the job, procedures and the cost. Told it would take about an hour (three bedrooms and hallway), took one hour and ten minutes. The house in question was empty and made cleaning easier without furniture. They came recommended by a neighbor and I'm happy I called them.

 + -1 moreOverall the work was good, but I did not appreciate not knowing they were going to be late, that the price was very much different, and the attitude of the personnel was unprofessional and insulting. I was looking forward to getting this done, and came away from it annoyed and upset.
Description of Work: We got off to a rocky start. The two men were 1/2 hour late. When I called the office to see why they were delayed, the woman who answered the phone was short, unapologetic, and gave no reason for the delay. She just said they were two minutes away. Ten minutes later they finally arrived. They said they broke down, and needed a jump and had called the office to let them know. Why did no one call the customer? Next, the prices I was quoted was far below what they wanted to charge. They suggested calling the office, and seeing what they could do. After a short discussion, the prices were lowered to a cost more in line with their original quote. I told them they could get started and they did. While one was working the other took his phone out several times. I asked him to put his phone away, and he said he was taking pictures of the sofa. Do you not get permission first from the customer before doing that? They continued to talk a lot, and went outside for awhile after finishing the sofa and a chair. I finally went out and asked them to come back inside. One said he was filling a container to do the carpets. It would have been nice to know that (not that it needed both of them outside for about ten minutes to accomplish that task). When I addressed that, I was told he was a professional, has been doing this 14 years, and didn't have to tell me what he was doing. I responded by telling him I didn't want the job to take longer than it needed to be. He said he wasn't going to charge anymore. I told him I understood that, but it didn't have to drag out for no reason. They finished the carpets, I paid them, and they left. On a positive note, the sofa, chair and carpets look much better. All the stains are gone and everything looks clean.

Introduced themselves and looked at the job, explained what they would do, how long it would take and an estimate of the cost which was less than the phone estimate. Completed the job in about 1.5 hours and even cleaned an entryway rug without asking and at no extra charge. They were polite, professional, and efficient. I had never heard of Mighty Mac before finding them on Angie's List but based upon this experience I would definitely hire again and ask for these gentlemen.
