 + 0 morethe job they did on the initial work for the most part was good but dealing with John was difficult. he seemed put off if you said there was any issues or followup work needed. We had a number of on going issues with the irrigation system and some small followup items that were hard to get resolved and difficult dealing with the company

 + -1 moreI called Landscapes, Inc. and told them I had a retaining wall of railroad ties that needed replacing with a brick wall. We made an appointment for the following week. John came out on Friday October 16, 2015. He gave us several suggestions and we chose one. He said he would get us a quote by the following week. Today is November 12th and we still have not received a quote. We have called another Landscaping company and received a quote the same day. We will use them.
Description of Work: Came out to our house to review our requirements.

 + -1 moreHow'd it go? Not well. The owner didn't bother to return my initial call; I guess he just doesn't need the business. See January 2013 review that says that owner is not responsive.
Description of Work: Nothing - and that's the problem. The owner did not return my call.

 + -1 moreI was referred to John by a friend of mine. I contacted him and was able to schedule a meeting immediately. He came out, we discussed exactly what I wanted done and he had a proposal to me the same week. I agreed on everything and we scheduled the work for the following week. John was on the ground with his crew throughout the whole process to make sure everything was completed as it should be. He was very involved throughout the whole process and had me very involved. We had some plants ordered on the proposal that I did not like once delivered. They were swapped out the following day. I could not of asked for a more enjoyable experience.
Description of Work: I had John come out and renovate one of my rental properties on the island. This included a complete overhaul of all my plants and grass along with my irrigation system that was struggling. He even was able to reuse some of my plant material saving me money, which I loved. He did an amazing job. He has tons of knowledge on his products and that is hard to find in the business place these days.

Description of Work: We used their weekly garden service. The staff were always polite and helpful. Problem never with the maintenance staff but rather with John the owner. He would never ever return calls or respond to any query. it was as if his customers never existed.We werent the only ones to have a major problem dealing with him and as a result a number of us cancelled his service. Even then he never even bothered to contact us to find out what was the problem. I think even his staff found his attitude strange and difficult.

Description of Work: I had the landscaping around my home renovated. John the owner and his team did a amazing Job. They really know their stuff. Cant wait to do more business with them they also are currently doing my maintenance.
