 + -1 more.Went very well. I was so pleased with their work and diligence that I took my other laptop to be cleaned up. They did the second with a discount. I love these guys. They are a real find and very reasonable. I've had other IT work done in the past and I never knew what they did - these guys gave me a detailed list and some helpful suggestions.
Description of Work: Cleaned up 2 laptops - which were bogged down with viruses and hardware problems. Installed program to prevent further corruptions and recommended other software I could use. The first laptop was so messed up it took several days before they were able to clean out the gunk and get it u and running perfectly.

Both of our computers and quot;diedand quot; at the same time, and Scott was able to do a quick fix on the laptop in a few minutes (no charge). And, he was able to find a part to repair my older desktop and get it in optimal running condition, saving me from having to buy a new computer and the hassles of lost programs and transferring data. Very pleasant to work with - would highly recommend.

 + -1 moreThe guys reported in regularly, since the laptop was so messed up with viruses it was not a simple fix. When one problem was fixed another showed up. They cleaned out unwanted software, updated software, cleaned the registry, etc. They also purchased and installed Malwarebytes to assist in resisting future viruses. They recommended an affordable backup plan which I subsequently installed. Since I was traveling when the service was completed, and since they were on break when I returned, they left my laptop with a neighboring business so I would not be without a working laptop when I returned home. I am taking my other laptop to them for repair. These guys are good.
Description of Work: My laptop was frozen - the computer guys called it blue it ""blue screen." There were gots of bugs and it took several days to clean it up.

 + -1 moreThey are really good. I probably spent about $140. He is very methodical, competent and courteous. I needed to get an assignment online and they helped me with that. My computer had been hacked through internet. So, my friends, colleagues and other people were getting a lot of unwanted spam mails. Then he helped me do a virus check. I ended up transferring my e-mail account and also changed my security. He was very helpful with cost in mind. The price was certainly competitive and fair. You can’t just go by the price. You have to go by how good it is, what they do and how they stand behind it. I would certainly use their services again.
Description of Work: I used the services of HHI Computer Guys to fix the problem I had with my computer and Scott Hoffman is the guy I dealt with.
