Description of Work: I spent more than 3 months on this purchase ($11,000 is a lot of $$$) and I bought 2 carrier units from this co. because of the salesman Steve W..He was superior in his knowledge and follow up verses the other 5 co.I contacted. His price was the best (in some cases by far) and the 2 guys that did the install could not have been more professional. then they sent out another guy to make sure everything was correct. MAKE SURE YOU GET A VISIT FROM STEVE W. BEFORE YOU BUY. I am very happy with Gochnauer and Carrier. STRONGLY RECOMENDED

Description of Work: Repaired HVAC system under warranty on New Years Day. They were at my house within an hour. I'm very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: A tech stopped by to replace a logic board in our new unit as part of a recall by Carrier. The service was performed quickly and on time as scheduled. The tech called prior to arriving just to be sure we were home and when we could expect him to stop by... nice touch.

Description of Work: We just have an Installation of a new HVAC, Carrier Green Speed. After disappointing with what I considered a dishonest services presented by A.E.C. Company. We decided to have Gochnauer install a new HVAC in our house, in fact, with higher price. According to my engineering background and past experiences as an assistance chief engineer of a five stars hotel in Manhattan, NY., I can say with confident, the Gochnauer is a company that one who is acquiring an honest services, fully disclosures, quality products, and professionalism in HVAC endeavor, should hire.

Description of Work: Replaced an old air conditioner and air handler. Great job and cleaned up after themselves. They were able to assess the problem and had it installed in 4 days. Much better than other competitors who were going to make us wait 2 weeks.

Description of Work: We needed a full heat pump replacement. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate and gave us the information we needed to decide what unit to purchase. Their price beat another estimate by several hundred dollars and the unit we picked was a more efficient one. They installed the unit three days later. Kory and Matt were professional and did an excellent job. They were courteous, personable, and neat (everything was cleaned up). They sent another technician the next day to run checks to be sure everything was working well.

Description of Work: I signed up for the yearly service contract which includes 2 preventive maintenance visits plus priority (within 24 hr) emergency repair visits if necessary. I have had 2 other contractors for this same service for the last 10 years and was impressed with GOCHNAUER HEATING AND AIR's comprehensive inspection of the system. In addition, for no charge he added materials to stablize the fan in the compressor (previous repair contractor replaced the fan with a generic not for the Lenox unit) reducing the very loud noises when running, to a very very quite unit. The contract cost was $10 more than my previous one, but I thought it was worth it.

Description of Work: Corrected mistakes made by previous Heat and AC provider. Did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. I have now signed up for their annual maintenance program and I strongly recommend them.
