Despite being extremely busy fixing problems caused by Hurricane Matthew they came immediately, fixed my system and corrected problems that could cause future failures.

Excellent work. Additionally, they visited my house after Hurricane Matthew while I was away and called me to let me know my house was ok. This was way beyond typical business behavior a nd greatly appreciated. The updated system works great.

Called Andy on Sunday morning because I couldn't get one irrigation zone to shut off. He led me step by step over the phone with a temporary solution until he could get to me on Monday morning. He had to rearrange his schedule to get out to me. When he was running about 30 minutes late, he called to let me know. He and his son worked their butts off for 2 hours using a probe and sensor and digging thru roots to find the old valves, replace them and solve my problem. Very professional, experienced and reasonable.

Great! The guy came when he said, did what he agreed at the price quoted. There were NO overcharges. Andy, the owner, has been available to answer my questions any time I call. He calls back. His house calls are fairly priced if your system is damaged by weather or lawn maintenance folks. Our landscape contractor twice complimented the work done and I now have a watering system that effectively covers my property. There is new growth and bare areas are coming back.

He listened to our concerns and designed a system that met our needs. He throughly explained it to us and went into detail so that we would know how to run it properly. He always answered all phone calls in a timely manner. After hurricane Matthew he came back and fixed the damage to the system quickly. I would highly recommend him.

A contractor for a local utility was working on our street and cut through two water lines for our irrigation system. We had just had the irrigation system completely overhauled a few days earlier so we knew it was in perfect working order. I called Andy and he and Wyatt came to our rescue the morning after I called them. In about an hour they were able to assess the entire system, replace components damaged by the other company and return everything to full working order again. Only a few parts were needed, but they were able to make repairs and even did some other cleanup the other company had caused but not bothered to restore before leaving. Another job expertly completed by two true professionals. Many thanks to Andy and Wyatt at Earth Systems Irrigation for their expertise, promptness and attention to detail.

After calling we were expecting them come in about 5 days but the day after I had spoken with them, Andy called and said he had an opening and could be there in an hour. They arrived promptly, assessed the system and began making repairs and suggested improvements we agreed needed to be done. The entire process took about 3 hours and we now have complete irrigation coverage for our lawn. They were prompt, very professional and very hard working. They completely cleaned up all debris and removed it. We felt the price was very fair - especially for what was accomplished in a short period of time. We will be happy to use Earth Systems in the future.

Great. Andy and his son, Wyatt, worked for 2 solid days in setting up the new system. When I say solid days, these two guys work their butts off. Andy is a skilled designer and installer of the equipment and is truly a master of his trade. After, the initial work was done They returned two months later to make numerous changes that became necessary after the house construction was completed and the ground slope changed. He did this at no additional cost. The system is fantastic. Andy takes pride in his work and I would recommend him to anyone. It was a great experience.

I found Randy and his company on Angie's List in June. I called Randy to schedule an appointment at my home to review my system since I am a new owner of this house in Sun City Hilton Head. I did not have problems or an emergency. This first call was made on June 20, 2015. Randy was rather overwhelmed that morning when we spoke and he told me "I was trying to decide at the gym how to tell people I am just too busy to take on any new business." He told me the company was 2 men and they were working till 8:00 at night all week. He ended the conversation telling me to call back in one month for an appointment. I said fine and told him to think about taking a short vacation, he sounded that he needed one. My second call to Randy was this morning at 10:00 and after a call back we began to schedule the service appointment. I was giving him the address and he said, "Oh, Sun City! I told myself the last time I drove out of there that I would never go back. There are problems with Sun City systems." I explained I had an older home built by Del Webb and he said that did not matter. I told him I told him the 1st call that I lived in Sun City. Randy proceed to go though a list of complaints about the location of the community, the problems in the past, etc. I told Randy he did not have to do the work, I thanked him and hung up the phone. Randy called my work number back and left a message that he would do the work for me because he said he would. I returned this telephone call and told him a month before I had said I lived in Sun City. I did what he said and called back in a month. I even told him I had tried to contact another company during the 30 days and they were a no show at my home. I told Randy that the fighting, blah, blah, blah had to end right now. All I did was try and call to schedule an appointment to have my working irrigation system checked. He will not be doing this system check. This unprofessional telephone manner of insulting customers is disappointing for an "A" rated Angie's List member. There are far kinder ways of turning down business.

He did an awesome job and everything works perfectly.

There is a preconceived notion that things move slower in the south. In some instances that may be true, but definitely not with Andy Richdale and his company, EarthSystems. After my initial call to Andy, we met on a hot Sunday afternoon, only because I was traveling to Pennsylvania the next day and he was in the middle of a couple of important, time sensitive jobs. He spent about an hour testing my system, checking the zones, heads, lines, wiring, and controller. It was during this time that I could tell that Andy was hard working, dedicated, very knowledgeable when it came to irrigation systems, and had a work ethic that you don't see with the vast majority of today's contractors. The bad news was that after trusting my now former landscapers to keep the system working over the past 20 years, they didn't, and considerable work was going to be needed to get the system up to Andy's standards. I gave him the OK to proceed, and everything from that point forward was done long distance. I was truly amazed at the number of telephone calls I received from Andy, sometimes twice a day, keeping me informed of every step in the rehabilitation progress of the irrigation system. All-in-all, thanks to EarthSystems, I probably have an entirely new system, as Andy and his son had to install a combination of over 100 adaptors, nozzles, rotors, valves, fittings, risers, and boxes, plus repair more breaks than one would think an irrigation system could have. My last request to Andy was to set the controller for the summer months, and to gauge the zones depending on the greenery in that zone. I should have guessed, but after the final testing of the system, he had already made the necessary changes, not only to each of the six zones, but to each nozzle in that zone. For the first time in years, I will be anxious to see my next water bill, as I cannot imagine the amount of wasted water that was pouring out of broken lines and ineffective nozzles into the ground. Bottom line, I couldn't ask for better service than I received from EarthSystems. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate using them in the future. Thanks Andy!

This company is probably the best contractor in the area. For one, he returned my call within a few hours. Then, he showed up at the time he said he would. He gave me a quote and I went to work leaving him to do the required repairs. When I came home, he had left a bill that clearly outlined the work he had performed. Additionally, since the work took longer then he expected, the cost was higher then he quoted me. But - he did not charge me for the cost above the quote. AND - he called me the evening of 4/25 (the day he had done the work) to be sure I was okay with everything. Earth Systems Irrigation (Andrew specifically who is the owner) is the most professional, honest contractor I have encountered in many years in this area. So many either don't show, don't call or don't complete the work in a timely manner, but want to be paid upfront. I only wish Andrew did other types of work in addition to irrigation systems - he is top shelf.

Experience was great. Andy knows what he is talking about, much happier with his attitude and desire to educate consumer when compared to my existing irrigation company.

Andy is fantastic! He came out and fixed a major mess that we had going on. He worked hard and did a fabulous job. I will definitely be using him again. *** Please call him BEFORE you start an addition! Our landscaping company did NOT know what they were doing and did not reroute things and the building crew messed it up even more. Andy had to go in and fix the messes that they had made. And he did a wonderful job at it!

Cost was more than I had originally contracted for but the scope of the project changed as the job progressed. I would use this company again.

Andy is, without a doubt, the hardest working man I have ever seen. He came and stayed with the job, working in the hot sun, during July, 2004 from beginning to end. The man has patience of Job and communicated well with me and my wife. Anyone that would like to call or contact us for a reference, we will happy to give him one of the best, well deserved, recommendation.

If you want an honest opinion and quality work, this is the guy. Andy tackled my project with aggression and passion, finishing within the time and price he quoted. He was very knowledgeable and performed quality work, ensuring the little details were taken care of. Highly recommend him to those looking for a reputable, hard working, no nonsense type of guy.

Andy's nickname should be "bulldog". He is tenacious, driven to perfection and will not quit until he has solved the problems. He worked diligently in the hot sun and under adverse soil, root and deeply set original wires and piping to complete the project of bringing my antiquated and non working irrigation up to a standard that is exceptional in performance. His knowledge of irrigation systems is unbelievable His prices are reasonable for the HHI area and I would recommend him to any and all that need a "Specialist".

Overall a great experience. I called Andy for a quote based on good reviews on Angie's list. He returned my call promptly, set an appointment for a few days out and turned up on time. We discussed the job, agreed a rough price and set a date for the installation. He had the courtesy to call me on the day of the job to let me know he was running a little late (Nice surprise!) and turned up as promised. The job was a tough one that took all day. Andy handled it all himself and was very thorough. Everything works well and I am very satisfied. I now have a reliable irrigation contractor that I will trust with future work.

He did not come at the appointed time. When we called a few hours later and came within 20 minutes. He was knowledgeable/helpful and did a good job.

After calling 3 different irrigation companies to have an additional head added to an exsisting zone, we had really had it. All told us we needed to completely redo our system to the tune of $4,000 to $6,000. After reading the reviews on Angie's list, I called Andy. He came out the next day. He was delayed and called to tell me he would be 30 minutes late (the other guys sometimes showed up a week later!) We explained what we wanted and added that there were a couple of issues with sprinkler heads that were not working well and that we needed to get water to the corner of our lot. Andy walked around the yard and turned on all the zones. He advised us that it was easily fixed and should take about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs and cost about $350. We were shocked to find someone who was honest and did not try to sell us a new system. He even took the cover off of the control box to be sure that there was not already a line to where a new head needed to go. It took Andy about 2 hours and cost $287.00. We were so pleased we gave him a huge tip. The only problem is that he is getting out of the business in a couple of months. Too bad, he is by far the best contractor we have dealt with in any area so far.

Showed up on time as promised. Went right to work - and never stopped - a very hard-working guy ("Andy") who knew what had to be done and just went and did it. Had all the materials he needed. Used an assistant the first day, worked alone the second day. Did quality work - cleaned up the site afterwards. He mentioned that he was thinking of leaving his business for another opportunity after September. I recommend you use him now, just in case.

I recently moved into a home whose lawn irrigation system had been neglected for many years. I was hoping that only minor repairs were needed. I called Andy at Earthsystems since his company was highly recommended on Angies List. He was very responsive and showed up on time. As he assessed the irrigation system, I was concerned because he could not give me a firm estimate of what the cost would be. He stated that the system was poorly designed and that over the years, various corners had been cut in making repairs. Long story short, Andy spent four hours bringing the irrigation system up to working order. He expertly diagnosed a major issue that was blocking flow to one section completely and limiting flow to other sections. I learned a lot about irrigation systems that day and I now understand completely why he couldn't give me an exact estimate. He was being truthful and fair. Although I spent more than I had wanted to spend, Andy worked with me on the final cost. I feel like I received excellent service and paid a fair price. I would use him again without question.

The task was performed as discussed and at the price promised.The owner did the replacement and did a great job.I would use again.

Great and I will use him whenever we have a problem without reservation.
