He As mentioned earlier in my address, Mr. Wimbs and I went into an agreement to have some gravel brought to the location needed on a specific date. We had some communication issues prior to the actual date of action though, the following day I was notified that he can complete the job as given. On the day of the job Mr. Wimbs called me and said that he was at the location and prepared to go and pick up the rocks or gravel needed for the job. When I arrived at the job location Mr. Wimbs was already on site. When I arrived we spoke briefly about the diversity in communication and time lines not being met though we extinguished the conversation so that we could move on to complete the task. Mr. Wimbs told me that he had a dump truck that he would use to transport the gravel. He mentioned to me that 3 and a half to 4 ton would make it more drivable at least around the house, where there was a large depressed area that filled up with water after a big rain. So as spoken from his say I went along with the plan and for him to bring out his equipment and to spread out the gravel the specified area. Mr. Wimbs came to the site with a truck that was not an actual dump truck as I expected. He arrived at the site with a small scaled truck that looks to be more of a watermelon truck sort of speak caring an amount of rocks that was much lower then what I expected. For the amount of gravel that was brought to the site, and the amount that it covered, I was beginning to question the amount of rock he actually brought because it did nothing of what I prospected. He wrote a receipt for the gravel that was brought though I ask for a copy of the receipt that was written and he replyed with " hold on let me move my truck" so I waited for him to move his vehicle. Granted I waited for him to bring it to me, I never received it because one thing led to the next and I never received it. With being dissatisfied with the job I asked for the recIeipt from where the gravel was purchased and he told me that he would send it in the mail. I waited so not to be a pain in the neck about it though I never received it so I txt'ed him about it once again and he told me he would get it to me after he came back in town. Two days passed and I started to have second thoughts about the amount of gravel brought because I was not able to obtain a receipt when I requested. I requested a few times for the receipt until Mr. Wimbs began to become a bit irate with my consisted txtin to obtain what I should had received the day of the job on site. With the reply's of deceiving txt messages, I turned to a legal reaction to get what I ask for since I was not getting it the other way. I still have the conversation's saved as it went because of maybe having to take them to court with me. Because of his dissatisfaction with me continued requesting the receipt he began to tell me that I am rude and that I am now acting like his enemy. He attends to think that I am preying on him for some reason or another. to not call him again, lose his number, Do not txt or call me again. He also mentioned that if I needed anymore assistance to take my business else where. This is not the first time that I have referred Mr. Wimbs to a job that he was able to capitalize off of. When everything went ok from start to end, there was no problem. Though now that he merely slipped up on a business step to give a receipt when requested, he goes over the deep end instead of just handling the problem like a business man is suppose to do regardless of the situation. When he was finally summoned to meet court, I finally got the receipt in the mail. In stead of Mr. Wimbs calling me and working out the situation, he instead counter suited claiming that I was not licensed to conduct business in so forth. Well I figured if that was a question all before why didn't it matter with the other jobs that I had brought to him because of the track record he had with me thus far. Now I think we are treading on a double standard sort of speak. At the beginning of when I met Mr. Wimbs he showed me his track record and previous report cards of jobs he had done telling me that he had an A+ rating which I did not doubt at any rate though I had to only go by what I can contest too. Well to end this letter I will say this: " No matter what you have done before he met me, right now and with this encounter we have entered into showed me first hand what he is capable of and how he handles BUSINESS when put under pressure. It is hard to believe this is the first problem that Mr. Wimbs has encountered during his tenure of his process of concrete work though I just believe I may be the only one that had taken the time to express what happened between us. Since this has taken place I have spoken to many of my constituents and many have mentioned not to favorable of his work as well. At this point I was just not aware of the actual truth. I will end with this saying that I really began to like Mr. Wimbs as a person and a friend though was just stunned and surprised of the outcome of the conclusion of this one connection. Description of Work: Provider was suppose to look at work to be done by home owner's driveway. He was suppose to out of his experience of working with gravel and cement, tell me what needed to be done to bring about a resolution to the problem at hand. He told me he would do the job that I explained to him that needed to be done. He mentioned to me that anywhere from two and a half to three ton would make a significant difference so that it would fill a particular area.
