ring the This work was done without us being present as it is our second home. We needed handicap accessibility for my wife and Joe worked with us from the start, reviewing our crude sketches and offering alternatives. He started a bit later than promised but it did not affect us as our villa was not booked for rental. Throughout the job, he kept us informed of his progress and although he did not send digital pictures to update us of his progress, his verbal communication was good. He finished a little later than promised only because we had to make a change in plans when we found a block wall impeded us from relocating the shower valve to that wall. This did not cause us problems as we had blocked the villa for rental during the period. Joe met with the inspectors and took care of all paperwork for us and e-mailed our final documents when the project was completed. We did get pictures e-mailed to us from a relative who resides nearby so we could see the workmanship and finished project before sending final payment. We recently returned to our villa in January and met with Joe to review the work. While we wanted a corner seat or bench installed, it would not have worked the way we laid out the project. Minor oversight. He did not relocate the toilet paper holder to the shower wall as requested but has stated that he will purchase one and install it and repair the drywall and paint where the old TP hanger was located. Overall, we were satisfied with Joe's work on our villa master bath.

This is the latest in a series of projects I've given Joe since 2010. So far we've remodeled the kitchen, painted all the rooms. removed and resurfaced textured ceiling, changed out a number of doors, etc. In a few weeks Joe will completing 4 additional projects. I am pleased with the quality of work.

we picked up a villa on hilton head island about a year ago and wanted to redo the kitchen from the start. we talked with several contractors and got recommendations from neighbors, friends, and our property management company. In the end, we went with coastal construction and were more than pleased with Joe's professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work with an owner who lives two thousand miles away. coastal construction supervised the tiling of the floor, appliance install, and counter tops. He did the electrical and plumbing himself as well as the removal of a wall and install of our new cabinets. While our villa isn't very big there was a lot of work done in a little time for a very reasonable price.
