AMERICAN IRRIGATION

Description of Work: We've been using American Landscape & Irrigation for approx. one year. I feel like the money we spent for maintenance services and landscaping was a waste. Some of the landscape work was not completed as discussed (i.e. removal of plants, and shrubs). John would tell us that our maintenance bill was included in landscape estimates, and then leave a bill for the maintenance on our door. Some of the plants he planted are dead because of poor irrigation. Additionally, some of our grass has died because of fungus. I would expect better care when paying for weekly services.

Description of Work: We have a renter in our home, and so it was VERY important for us to trust the person who was working on our landscape, since we could not see the work. John talked us into a weekly service at $140/month in JAN. 2012. He quoted and 'accomplished" some initial cleaning in January at a rate of $1,495.00. Once this initial clean up was done, I was told that if we paid for a weekly maintenence, he would keep our property as clean and maintained like the day in January it was initially completed. We came out in August 2012 and visited our property. We then called John to meet us there. The debris on my property was so high, I was bouncing on it as I walked. The majority of the things I discussed on the phone, in writing and again on that day in Aug. with John were not accomplished the way we had agreed it would. Despite the fact I gave John 3 more chances to do the job he originally quoted and was paid for, as a token effort he went back out to the house, and all he did was move the debris away from the house. I was very clear with my communication with him, I asked him several times for pictures, I communicated verbally and in writing that I expect this landscape debris to be bagged and taken away. He then said he did this but already took away the bags, so couldn't take pictures of the bags??....all he took pictures of that final day in September was the landscape tree debris being pulled away from the home. I wanted all this debris put in bags and taken away. He was clearly NOT going to do the job I was asking him to do. He says yes, yes, yes, but in reality, no.
