Perez got in touch with us after the flood and I sent him pictures of all the water in the house and yard. As soon as he could get from Hartsville to Sumter he came and assesed what had to be done. I asked him if he would take care of everything for me since I have and elderly husband with dementia and just couldn't take care of everything. He took over and was here for two weeks putting sheet rock on the walls, painting putting new floors in the den and sun room. He heped me find a storage unit to put the stuff that wasn't damaged into and then he and his men loaded it for me. (they have been taking things out of the storage unit a little at a time so I can go through it. There are so many things he did that I can't name all of them. I has prayed that God would send me some help and he sent Perez. He and his men cleaned up the area after they finished and the whole time they were her they were very polite and I never heard a cuss word from any of them.Perez went above and beyond what I asked him to do.

I have had really bad luck with contractors, so I decided to give Angie's List a try and Boy, am I glad I did. I chose Discount Renovations to grade my crawlspace and put down a moisture barrier based on their reviews and they did not disappoint. Before starting the project Perez and his crew took video of what was going on under my house and when they finished they showed pictures of the finished product.. They finished the project in two days and they left my crawlspace in much better condition than when they found it, having had to remove trash that was left by previous contractors in order to complete their work. I would recommend Discount Renovations to everyone and they will be my go to repair/remodel specialists.

I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend the services of Discount Renovations. I own a 120 year old Victorian home, and Mr. Graham completed various projects on the home during the summer of 2015. The work was extensive including roofing, painting and carpentry work, and I was ecstatic with the results. Mr. Graham and his staff are honest, professional and skilled. The work was completed in a timely, efficient manner. To be honest, if you are looking for shoddy, inexpensive work, than this probably is not the company for you. But if you want outstanding, quality workmanship at a fair and reasonable price then look no further. I have had multiple companies work on my home, and none lived up to my expectations until I hired Mr. Graham. I would hire him again without hesitation. I am confident that you will not be disappointed in Discount Renovations for whatever home project you have.

Perez kept good communication throughout the process and did a good job on our kitchen pantry. The job took a good bit longer than expected and ended up costing more than the agreed rate, but I understand that sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances. The pantry looks excellent and their quality of work is really great. I would definitely use Perez and his crew in the future, but would probably be a little more cautious about the timelines and cost. The only bad thing I have to say about the process other than it taking too long is that Perez was late arriving all three days. Perhaps there were extenuating circumstances that were outside of his control, but overall he did a great job, cleaned up well, was friendly and professional and we are extremely pleased with the final product.

After initial contact and discussion Mr. Graham (Discount Renovations) and I agreed on a price and a deadline to finish the project. Each day Mr. Graham brought a crew of four guys with him, (the same guys each day) and each day from the time they got there to the time they left ( which was 9 to 10 hours later) their focus was on the job and making sure that i was satisfied with their productivity and quality at the end of each day. When I had a question or concern it was addressed and/or fixed immediately. Mr. Graham and his crew were true professionals from start to finish. They said what they were going to do and they did what they said. A very hard to find trait in the contracting world these days. We have already talked and discussed about future projects. i would without reservation, recommend Discount Renovations (Mr. Graham) to any and all my friends or family. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

As a military member managing a property from across the country, Perez is my go to contractor in the Sumter area. He is professional, easy to get a hold of, keeps me in the loop throughout the project, and quite simply, does great work. Not only did Perez diagnose the roof issue, but he also developed a solution so the problem would not return in the future. Quite simply - I know that when Perez takes on a job it will be done correctly.

Two walk in closets were given poles for hanging cloths and shelves for shoes and such. The project took 3 1/2 days to complete, which was longer than they or I had expected. However, I am so pleased that they did not rush or cut corners. I was given two closets that looked and functioned exactly as I wanted them to.

I wanted Shelves in between the living room and little step down room so my husband could see his truck collection when he was in the living room. My husband has dementia so when I told Perez I would like to get them done while my husband could still enjoy them he jumped right on it. After a few bumps in the road he fininished them and a privacy fence . He and his workers are so nice and polite (never heard and bad language from them) and they always cleaned up after themselves. Perez always made sure his helpers were doing the work right. I heard him tell them a couple of times to do it over again because it wasn't right. If I need more work done around here I would definitely get him.

Did a great job and everytime we look at it we say how pretty that floor is. He will be putting wooden shelves in the future and we know he wil do an outstanding job.

I provide a detail written scope of work, went over the work. He reviewed the scope of work but never got back to me on a price. I have never heard another word from him when he drove off.

He removed a section of the hardwood laminate area and saw that the sub floor and floor joists were completely wet and rotted, falling apart. What was to be a simple replacement was now a larger job to remove the hardwood laminate in both my dining room and kitchen area and replaced the wood, replaced the subfloor, and floor joists, re-installed the hardwood laminate as well as to remove and iintall new kitchen tiles at my request. This work was done in a clean quick and professional manner. Perez and his crew member J.R were knowlegable of the accessment, the work needed to be performed as well and to repair it in a timely fashion.The tiles look beautiful, the laminate flooring feels strong and I am no longer afraid to walk on it. the culprit of my damage was from the water hose from my ice maker that was leaking under the floor at my surprise because the floor was never wet. It eventually cracked my kitchen tiles and my laminate sank uopn walking on it.Very scary. I chose Perez because of his high ratings on Angies list and am very grateful that he supercedes his reviews. His cost included labor, materials.

We encountered some very cold weather which delayed the completion. While installing the garage door wrap they found termites which gave me the chance to call the exterminator. His crew was knowledgeable and their work was good. The job site was cleaned with all trash and debris removed. Overall, it was good work for a fair price. He completed the work as agreed.

Mr. Graham is great at explaining the extent of the problem and what will be needed to fix it. His crew fix our laundry room floor in one day, which was much quicker than we expected. It looks great, and we'll be calling him in the future when we need work done.

My brother he lives in South Carolina told me they did a good job. I do not live there so I need my brother opinion on the work.

The experience with them was excellent.

Perez Graham and discount renovations is BEST contractor I have dealt with thus far in the Sumter, SC area. I am in the military and am currently managing my Sumter home from California. Finding someone to do work on my house has been a pain up till now. What sets Perez apart from other contractors is his professionalism. He calls when he says he is going to call, and keeps you in the loop (on his own!) as to the status of the project he is working on. Perez even texted me before, during, and after photo's along the way to keep me up to date with the work he was doing. Additionally, his price point is very fair. I was quoted $750 for this job by another contractor in the local area. Perez did the job for $455, which felt very fair given the scope of the work and condition of the wood he was painting. Another thing I liked about Perez is his attention to detail. I expressed concern about paint getting spilled/splattered on my current renters furniture on the porch, and his response was and quot;I don't spill paint, nor do I hire people that spill paint or are sloppy paintersand quot;. He then sent me pictures before he started the job of any pre-existing paint splatter done by the previous painter so I could see the quality of his work. So again, I could not be more pleased with the work Perez Graham and discount renovations did on my house. I feel relieved to finally have a contractor in the area I can trust. If you don't hire him for your next job, I hate to say it, but you are messing up...

Perez is a one of a kind professional that is hard to find these days. I am a military member that recently had to relocate and I manage my own property. I was in desperate need of a contractor that I could trust to do good quality work in my absence. My previous experiences with contractors in the area has been negative and I often found myself spending more money having to fix the messes they made. If you are a service member it is hard to know who you can trust in the area. Not only did Perez do an outstanding job of repairing all the items my tenant identified, but he was also very courteous and professional when interacting with her. She was very pleased with his service and I was happy to have my house repaired and also have a happy tenant. If you are tired of wasting your time and money on subpar service then give Perez a call. He is reliable and a true professional that takes pride in his work.
