Description of Work: 36x11 concrete patio with colored/designed overlay. Quality of the actual work was fantastic. Price was very reasonable. However the lack of communication and lack of communication was horrific. We booked this job March 29th and it wasn't finished until the week of Memorial Day. Bad communication, delays and just bad customer service. The patio however is just gorgeous. And we love it, but we would look else where first before going with them again.

Description of Work: They put in garage bib and sidewalk to house. Did an overlay that did not match at all the picture I had given them to replicate which they told me would be no problem to do. Put on a totally different color base coat than was chosen. Patched some areas of the overlay that got damaged with a totally different textured product which shows in the final product and was told that I was taking more of there time than their normal customers.

Since no one was home when the work was done, I was surprised to see when I came home that my lawn area was damaged from the equipment used to break and remove the existing concrete. Also a sprinkler head was broken and not reported. Next time would clearly understand the work area and would identify/remove anything adjacent to the work area that could be damaged. I did receive a discount for the damage.
Description of Work: Demolished and removed a section of cracked/sinking concrete driveway. Poured a new section.

He provides estimates, invoices and completes existing contracts before starting new ones. He pays attention to details, he's reliable trustworthy, and his referrals and sub contractors are experienced and qualified to get the job done right the first time. He sets the standard for contractor and sub contracting, I wish others in the Anderson County area were more like him.

+ 1 moreEverything went well from start to finish. The weather held up progress but finally stopped raining and they finished the job. They did an excellent job and obviously know what they are doing. I would hire them again. Highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Enlarged our 10x12 cement patio to 14x20. Then came back about 2weeks later to add a layer of cement and created a design with a trowel. Few days later used a special paint for cement to add a base color to patio. Then skimmed a lighter coat of paint over that and then sealed it to create a beautiful patio.

+ 5 moreThis was a great experience from the beginning. Jose (the owner) was prompt calling us back and scheduling a meeting. We found his pricing very reasonable, and no hidden costs, for the amount of work that needed to be done. At one point they had to break up a large boulder with a jack hammer. Large amounts of dirt had to be removed since our back yard is sloped. Jose laid out a timeline and stuck to it. All work was completed on the day promised. We could not have been more impressed with the quality of his work. We chose a flagstone design using natural rock colors of different shades of grays and browns. Even though the process is called "stamped" concrete, each individual flagstone was hand drawn and colored. Most people do not realize that our patio is concrete and not real flagstone. He is a true artist at concrete design. Both Jose and his employees were very professional as well as detail orientated, making sure levels & slope were correct. You could tell that they take pride in their work. They also guarantee their workmanship for 5 years. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new patio. As well as excellent craftsmanship, they are professional, reliable, reasonable, clean and courteous. I would recommend Unique Concrete Design LLP to anyone needing any type of concrete work.
Description of Work: Increased our patio area to approx 580 sq ft by incorporating the existing small concrete patio into large stamped concrete patio with a 20" tall by 15 foot long bench/retaining wall and matching sidewalk to driveway. Installed approx 50 feet of drain pipe for French drain to handle run off. Re-pointed 12 brick stairs to our front porch as well as cleaning them with an acid wash.
