We had them do the check-up of our HVAC for the winter. Tuck & Howell's tech Dave heard the faulty heater relay. He ordered the part and promptly came back to replace it. He was so honest, punctual, and professional. Excellent service!

Service man was on time, solved problem quickly, was clean and neat-price was reasonable.

On time, quick and efficient. Added carbon monoxide monitoring.

Called late in the morning on Friday. Asked for a technician to check my ac which had shut down earlier in the week. Scheduler said they could be out first thing monday mornig. I told her I was 67 years old and the w/e was going to be very hot and told her if they had any cancelations at all I would be at their disposal throughout the w/e. Technician called me about 2 hours later and said he had finished early on another call and could he come out now. He did and my ac was fixed within the hour. I am very satisfied with this vendor and will definitly use in the future. In addition I have asked them to quote a complete change of my HVAC system to take advantage of the $1500 tax credit available until December this year. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone in this area

Work began promptly at the scheduled time. Within an hour of that, I had water leaking through my ceiling. The plastic emergency drain pan (full of water) had broken while crew was removing my old system. I was disappointed, but overall, remained optimistic of the big picture (mainly due to the responsiveness of the crew, foreman, and the manager - who showed up at the house shortly after the accident). The work was scheduled to last four days. On day two, after a generous effort to get the a/c temporarily hooked-up for our night-time comfort, it was discovered that an a/c, instead of a heat-pump, was installed. Unfortunately for me, that meant another hot night. But, the correct unit was in place the third day, and cool air flowed that night. The HVAC work concluded on the fourth day, as scheduled, with the connection of the furnace and inspection. The fifth day, we saw the completion of the ceiling repairs. I am a somewhat particular individual, and despite the snafus, I feel confident that the work is of high quality. All duct runs are as straight as possible. The ducts are all rigidly attatched and look very neat. The furnace was positioned in a very convenient location, to allow for easy filter replacement and any servicing needs. They even installed an electrical outlet in the attic while running some wiring for the new system. I thought that was pretty neat, as that was just out of the foreman's generosity. My floors were all covered with a protective layer before any work started. All trash was removed completely. And, for my inconvenience of the certain snafus, I received some equipment/product upgrades. The system works well. I am happy with it so far. I won't know much about the dual - fuel heat source until it gets cold, but I am optimistic. These guys did good work. I would use them again. Though, hopefully not until my downstairs system needs attention. I was glad to have been able to be present for the majority of the work. I think that was beneficial.

I like that they send the same technician each time.

Dale was on time, very personable, clean, neat, knowledgeable, kind, and did everything on his own. Services extra to the visit at no extra charge. No charge for visit or service since I bought a 2x (or more) as needed 1 yr service contract.

They will also do the annual maintenance of the furnace and air conditioning units. This is the first time I used them. I will be paying $258. I will continue to use this company in the future.

Said what they would do, when they would do it and did. If not the best experience I have had in 32 years of home ownership in 4 states, right at the top of the list. From bid to install, these folks are highly competent, professional and a delight to work with. I recommend without reservation and Tuck & Howe will do all my service, maintenance and replace the upstairs system when it needs to be done.

We had recently moved into a home that had a gas cooktop and a gas fireplace, but no line for my gas dryer. I got 4 estimates. Tuck and Howell gave me the lowest estimate and I liked them. They installed a gas line to my dryer and one to a gas stove in a small room off the garage. We are pleased with the work and would use them again.

They did a good job. I was happy with it. They were prompt. The service was cheerful. It was reasonably priced.

I have them on a service contract. I have a dual thermo heat pump system. My system is water-based and they are capable of working on it. They are very thorough. They visit 2-3 times a year. They call me to fix the appointment and once it is fixed then they come to check. A person comes with a box full of filters and goes around the house changing all the filters. He checks the motors as well. He takes 45-60 minutes to do this job. Their price is a little above average but the job is worth it.

Total time spent was less than 1 hour. Technician said the bill would be sent later. Total charge was $430 for work and material - the only material replaced was a circut board. I researched on line and found the that I could purchase the board for less then $100.00. Now I wnderstand ther is usuallly a mark-up on parts but even a 100% mark-up and time charged for service should have been less then $300. When I called and asked I was told that this was the "standard charge" Charges do not seem reasonable to me.

Mr. Jerry Tuck came out and presented several options for replacing our entire system. We chose Carrier's Infinity system. Everything Mr.Tuck said he would do, he did it like he said he would and when he said he would. Small things impress me. Like his men put little covers on their shoes prior to entering our home. They were very professional in everything they did. I could not be more pleased with our experience witih Tuck and Howell. The price was right, too!

First call requesting a quote was fine. I described what I needed. Scott said he would call with a price. After a week with no call, I called back and Scott said they couldn't give a price without coming out. I asked why he didn't tell me that at my first call. His answer was worded to put the blame on me for mis-understanding. Someone came out, looked at job and a few days later I got a quote. Their quote was $630 higher than a competitor for the identical make and model system.

The worker they sent to our house was Scott and he was very determined to get everything right, which was very impressive. He fixed the problems with the ducts that were from another contractor we had used previously.

We've used Tuck & Howell for several years to come every 6 months & make sure everything is running smoothly with our heating & a/c. We're completely satisfied with them & have had no problems in between their visits.

Most of the people in our neighborhood have hired Tuck & Howell for this service which makes it very convenient for us as well as them. They can do several houses on the same day & they have yet to be late. Minor repairs as well as Freon replenishment have been done & the system has operated perfectly ever since we hired them. We will continue with this service as long as they do a good job.

The people were very friendly and easy to get in touch with to make appointments. They were very understanding towards my needs and they use good quality materials. The Trane heating and air units are supposed to be very high quality and that's why they cost so much. The people made sure that they cleaned up after any work was done. The location was in one of the rooms in my house and there have been no problems since the repairs were done. The people that came out to perform the work were very helpful in giving detailed description of what they were going to do.

Tuck & Howell did a great job on our air conditioner. It now runs good & quietly again. This company has a good reputation so I always feel comfortable to call them for service. I was happy with the service provided. I will continue to call this company again in the future.

As soon as we contacted Tuck & Howell, they agreed to send someone out within a few days. It only took them a few hours to install the new heat exchanger, as ours was cracked. Everything's working properly since their visit.
