Snyder & Son HVAC

This is literally one of my favorite service businesses out there, not just HVAC. These guys know their stuff and are honest as the day is long. Did you call someone else? You HAVE to call them for a second opinion. I have used them multiple times. I can’t say enough good stuff.

They showed up as scheduled and on time. Listened to our concerns and offered solutions. Completed work timely and professionally. Very honest and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Mr. Snyder worked very hard to keep the price affordable. The work was top rate and completed as promised. He was by far the best price and yet gave me an excellent product . I had to contact him after installation for some questions and he again was responsive, supportive, and helpful. Because of my experience with him, we used his services at our church to work on a unit. We knew the unit had some age on it and others had recommended we replace it. He serviced it, replaced the thermostat, and got us going again for pennies on the dollar to what it would have cost to replace it.

They did an incredible job. Very careful of my home and left me in good condition. There wasn't anything left around for me to clean up. But imagine my surprise when less than a month later I received a refund from them. They discovered they had overcharged me for their service. It was a $200.00 check. They are tops in my book. I would never had known it. They truly live their faith in Christ. I would hire them again. More business should be so careful and honest.

I am really pleased with them. He worked very hard to keep the price affordable and do what I needed done. He considered my needs, and he got it done when it was promised. They came in by far the cheapest, and they gave me the best price, best product, and they did really good work. The biggest thing I can tell you about them is, they weren't out to make a sell, they were out to determine my need, and to meet my need. I could tell that from the first point of contact.

When I realized our heat had stopped working, the first thing I did was make a service request to our home warranty company. However, when I saw the terrible reviews on Angie's List for the HVAC company they assigned me, I went instead to the Snyders, referred to me by a friend who had used their service in the past. Right away I was impressed--whereas the warranty-approved company wanted to make us wait until Friday with no heat (this was a Tuesday, with "winter weather" on the way), Roy Snyder said he could be there in 15 minutes. When he arrived, he was friendly and courteous. After some time in the crawlspace and on the phone, he told us that the good news was that our 20-year-old furnace was still working but that part of the filter was burned out. (This is an important piece since it keeps carbon monoxide from entering the house.) He expressed dismay at the cost of the part ($400) but said he hadn't been able to do anything about it. (I assume this is what he spent the time on the phone for.) We decided we'd much rather have him finish the job than wait 3 days on the off-chance that our warranty would pay for it. Once he had our OK, he went to pick up the part and quickly had it replaced and our heat running again. Our experience was in line with that of the friend who referred us. She said they aim to keep costs low, and as Roy told me, they "try to keep things simple." My husband and I were both impressed with the speed, courtesy, and professionalism Roy displayed and will definitely call Snyder again when the time comes to replace the furnace.
