I don't normally post reviews, but this is one time I am happy to do so. R & C Construction Solar, LLP. did an exceptional job. All my questions were answered without hesitation. I had spent 18 months researching what I wanted to have installed and Roberto actually listened to what I had to say and filled in the gaps in my knowledge. I had approached a couple of other companies but neither bothered to climb onto my roof and measure it to see how many panels would actually fit but Roberto did. He went out of his way to made sure that I saw a few installations of similar type. The other companies quoted based on satellite pictures and the quotes were for more panels then would fit in the areas where I wanted them placed. I was a bit skeptical about the great reviews I saw posted and can only say that I can add mine to the others. The service was great, the price was right and I got what I wanted. For those of you who are hesitant about who to go to give Roberto at R & C Construction Solar, LLP a call, I think you will be pleased.

I got three quotes, and RC construction was the best price and the best warranty. They offered a microinverter system rather than an inline inverter system. Roberto with RC construction was absolutely fantastic to work with on my 5Kw residential solar project. He completed the whole job including final inspection in 3 days. He understood that i was under a deadline to qualify for certain rebates and he helped me step by step to file the paperwork for the rebates. Roberto even trimmed back my trees from the panels on one side of the house, so they wouldn't cast a shadow and effect the output. I have worked with many contractors, but Roberto was an absolute delight to do business with, and he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the system.

Roberto Helmeyer of R&CConstruction Solar installed 40 Renogy monocrystalline 250 watt solar panels with Emphase M215 Microinverters on two structures at my home. A net meeting presentation from another company recommended a total 44 solar panels on 3 buildings. Roberto came to our home and discussed at length the solar potential of locations and settled on 16 panels on southern exposure of our house and 14 on our boathouse (10 to the west and 14 facing east). He recommended 40 even though that would reducethe cost of the project from $40,200 to $36,500. These panels have produced an average of 45.6 kilowatts over a 19 day period of sun, clouds and rain. Roberto was prompt, efficient and did a very complete job including providing all documentation to qualify for net metering through SCE&G and to file for tax credits. The SCE&G engineer was very complimentary of the installation. All in all I am very pleased with the workmanship and outcome.

RC was by far the most knowledgeable of solar installation companies. We had three bids and Roberto clearly knew what he was doing. Additionally, he was patient and thoughtful in helping with the design of the system. He took his time explaining the positives and negatives of various setups. His installation was perfect and quick. The Pickens County inspector and Blue Ridge utility representatives were both very impressed with his work. I would recommend Roberto to anyone installing a PV system both in terms of price and quality.

The monitoring that we did found the problem and Roberto fixed it quickly. He was always here when he said he would be and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He did what he said he would do and resolved our issues. We give him a straight A review all categories( on price the more he does the better the price). WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND RC Construction Solar!!
