Very professional job including wiring to new light switch indoors, bringing wires through walls, burying cable outside to pole lamp, then setting pole into ground. price included all cables, wiring, switches, cement, and labor.

They scheduled to come back out on 3/19/12 to run ground wires, but had some problems at another job, had to re-schedule for 3/23/12. This was not a problem for me. They arrived on 3/23/12 and went straight to work total time was approx. 2 1/2 hours. They ran ground wires to 4 outlets and installed to new outlets. The owner's son and an employee showed up first and about an hour into the job a 3rd employee arrived. They were very good at cleaning up when the work was complete. Explained everything and did not try to over sale. I will need to do some more work in the future and will call Griffin Electrical. Highly recommended.

The work was done the way they said it would be done. I would use them again if the need arises. I was very satisfied.

Not only did Mike and his crew arrive on time, the actual cost for the chandelier installation was less than quoted. Though it was just a small job, Mike and crew treated us the same as someone spending thousands of dollars on a project. Mike was also helpful in answering questions. He even disassembled the old ceiling fan. We are very happy with the entire experience and would definitely would use them again.

We thought they were great. They gave us their boys to do it for less money. Their quality of work was very good. They were very responsive. We will use them in the future.

Although Mike Griffin was a little slow ( a couple of days) to respond to my initial call, he was apolgetic about the delay. He told he what kind of fixtures I needed to replace the flush-mount lights in the stairwell and followed up with me after Thanksgiving to ensure that I had them, making an appointment to do all the requested electrical work several days from then. He requested an email list of the work requested, which I provided. Mike and his co-worker, Buzz, (father and son) arrived on time, and worked without stopping (except for a lunch break they did not bill for) until the work was completed. They are a very well-coordinated team, which plans the work and works efficiently together. My husband commented that Buzz, who actually did the majority of the work, worked very quickly and was very conscientous. Mike and Buzz are knowledgeable, helpful, reliable and professional. We were unable to change the burned-out bulbs in these fixtures because of the height , the design of the fixtures and the lack of access from the attic and the configuration of the stairwell, so replacement was the only option. Buzz confirmed this before he started working, because we were reluctant to replace the fixtures if there was a way to replace the bulbs we just hadn't figured out. Replacing the fixtures in the stairwell was scary, even just watching the process, but between the two of them they made it look fairly easy. We received an itemized bill, which reflected both the parts and labor, in keeping with the work and the time of the visit. I would contact Griffin Electric again if I required the services of an electrician, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Griffin Electric is a father and son team. They arrived when they said they would both times (see below) and called the day before to confirm our appointments. If they were going to be even a few minutes late, they called to let me know this. This is very important, since we are all so busy, but it's also very rare to find this kind of dedication to, and respect for, the customer. They could have finished both jobs in one day, even though I did not have the proper equipment to complete the guest room job the way I wanted to, but I insisted that they come back after Thanksgiving to work on the guest room. After I had purchased the needed part (they told me exactly where nearby to get the part) and offered to come back later that same day, but I had to leave to pick up my children from school, and then wouldn't be returning home until after 6:00 PM. Regarding the guest room, I had purchased the wrong part (a remote and wall sensor), and this was not discovered until they had installed it. The way the circuits were set up in my home when it was built would not allow for a remote system with a dimming feature. Not to be deterred, they ran out to find the part that would work, having to talk to multiple people along the way, to get just the part I needed! Even with the wild goose chase I sent them on, they completed the job in an hour and a half. And, they did all of this with a smile. With all due respect to the other electrical companies listed here with 'A' ratings, Griffin Electric is really the only one you need to call.

I was having problems with several light fixtures in my house and after checking around, I gave Griffin Electric a call. They scheduled a time with me for the following day to check it out for me. They arrived a few minutes late, but I believe the bad weather had a hand in that. Buzz quickly found and fixed the problem, so while he was there, I asked if he could also remove the ceiling fan and install a new light fixture in the kitchen. He was very competent, helpful, courteous and knowledgable. I am very pleased with his work and plan to call them again in the future.

They were really easy to work with. They were very responsive to my concerns and made sure that they did a good job.

This is the second time that I have used Griffin Electric and both Mike and Buzz proved to most efficient in their work. Again, as was the case in their previous work, they were both punctual and proficient. I find both of them to be very courteous and pleasant to work with. I would have no problem using their services in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work to be performed.

I had paper on the floor because they were re-spraying the cabinets. I had ordered brand new cabinets. Buzz drilled through one of the new cabinets (that have never been used) while he was installing. That was okay because I figured we could fix it. But I almost threw up when he gave us the bill. They charged us $1087 total; $135 per hour for each of his two electricians that came up for half a day. My husband gave them the opportunity to cut the bill down. Buzz was very humble when my husband confronted him and he was willing to cut the bill but his father, Mr. Griffin, refused. We paid the bill. We looked at the last five years of what electricians had charged us on average. It was $45-55 per hour. We asked the guy who is installing appliances for our remodel and he said he would have only charged $400 for the job at the most. My cabinet guy said the most his electrician would have charged was $400-500. Buzz charged a lot of money, drilled a hole in the cabinet and there was electric debris left over. He said he would fix the hole, but we had our cabinet guy fix it, which he did for free. Buzz left things a mess; I had to pick up all the papers and clean up after him. Even at the maximum, this is almost twice as much as it should have been for the job. It?s not that the work is bad (it wasn't), it?s just that the price is outrageous and he left a mess.

Their knowledge and thoroughness was definitely outstanding. They went through and did a very thorough inspection to determine what was needed for the job. I was very impressed by that. They were very quick to come out and were able to start almost immediately. I would definitely consider using them in the future or at least get a quote from them. It was a free estimate but as far as the price of the estimate, they were a little bit higher priced than the other quotes I received.

In the process of selling our home, the inspector found that there was no GFCI outlet on the front porch. They responded quickly and performed the work required.

These guys had expert knowledge about all the different types of outdoor arc lights available, and they had the tools and equipment readily on-hand to replace my failed unit. They worked quickly and tirelessly even in the 100 degree heat.

Mike and Buzz did a great job once again. Had them come out twice this week and both times did great work. High quality at a reasonable price. Best electrician in Greenville bar none. Highly recommended.

Buzz and Brandon did an outstanding job. They were both very knowledgeable and professional. They did not waste any time upon arrival -- they began work at the back of the house and completed all projects within two hours. My wife and I will definitely use Griffin Electric for all of our future electrical needs. Highly recommended. Finding them easily justified the cost of our Angie's List subscription.

Mr. Griffin and his son were punctual, professional, and did a great job. Mr. Griffin even took the time to speak with my plumber about what type of electrical work needed to be done and provided me an estimate over the phone. They performed the job quickly and efficiently. I will use them now on for any future electrical work.

I called and they came out and replaced two breakers in my panel, it took about 10 minutes. Griffin electric was very professional and easy to do business with, they came out when they said they would.
