The project went very well. The owner (Tim) provided a prompt and accurate estimate. They did the work when they said they would, and everything worked well. The crew was courteous and they never entered the house without asking, and they always wore foot covers. At the completion of the work, Tim assisted me with the online rebate program and provided documentation for my tax credits. I received the rebate a couple of weeks later by mail.
Description of Work: Installed new gas furnace, central air conditioner, and ductwork.

Marc ( I hope I got his name right ) was right on time. Great guy. Every time he came in the house he put on his shoe protectors, explained what step he was on in the inspection, and was the perfect gentleman. I asked a few questions, and he was able to answer them with confidence. He left me with 5 new filters ( replaced the one that was in there already ) so I am good till the next inspection. This is a real nice and quot; Family and quot; kind of business. I was very happy with the whole process.
Description of Work: I hired G S to do 2 maintenance inspections per year on my new heat pump. This was the first of those inspections. I was told I will be contacted each time it is due.

The review process went very well, Tim and Robert made a careful survey of the house, windows and instalation and asked lots of questions before preparing and presenting a researched and clearly written proposal.Adam was the lead installer and he was very patient and detail oriented explaining what they were doing. They did the upstairs unit first and when he found that the downstairs unit was blowing but not cooling he had it checked out and functioning so we were not roasted at night. Jeremy, his assistant, made sure that there were drop cloths laid down before the y started work each day and cleaned up at the end of each day. He was the lucky person who got to crawl through the tightest spots under the house. When the job was finished Tim went over everything and submitted the rebate request to Bryant. Melissa the office manager submitted the Duke rebate request on our behalf.Working with this company was a pleasure. In addition they recommended both a plumber and an electrician; we have used both of them and we are very pleased with their work.
Description of Work: Tim Gilson responded to our request for the HVAC system in our newly acquired house to be assessed and to give us his opinion on servicing or replacing. Given the age of the system, some parts original to build in 1980 and others not to code, we decided to go with an entirely new system. The duct work was obviously leaking and the standard of insulation was not current. Adam and Jeremy spent a total of 6 days removing units from the attic and crawl space along with the filthy duct work and then installed new Carrier and Bryant units, new duct work and put in proper air returns(Previously the cavity under the stairs was "functioning" as the air return.) During that time the outside temperature was in the upper 90's -100s so obviously much higher in the attic but they worked solidly taking minimal breaks. Towards the end of the job they raised concerns about some of the wiring in the crawl space and arranged for an electrician to come and look at it. When I heard his report I went ahead and had him fix the problems.
