We asked estimator to look at existing roof fascia trim and advise us on changes to be made that will affect re-roofing. Gutter Helmet came by 2nd time to discuss and coordinate re-roofing work so that Gutter Helmet need not have to make additional changes after the re-roofing.

They installed the new gutter helmets very quickly and I am very pleased with their work as well as how well the gutter helmets perform

The service did not go great. I ended up spending quite a bit of money to get the gutters cleaned. The Deal said that it included removing the gutter caps. When they showed up, not only did they try to sell me new gutter helmets which I did not need but they also charged to remove the caps on every square foot beyond the deal. They ended up charging $150 to do 7 minutes of work. The price ended up being significantly more than any other company had quoted me.

Price bid was fast and on time, cost was good, they had a lot of obstacles like old power lines and cable plus they had to install hangers due to the crown molding. I called other companies and they acted as if it was a huge deal but these folks it was a snap. The big home improvement centers wanted $3300 to do the job, these folks did it for $1800.

Salesman spoke to us in a condescending tone and manner and criticized competitors' products. We were not impressed.

I think he was very nice on the phone. Even though we did not use him for the job. It was not due to anything on his part. I would feel very confident to use him in the future.

My house is large,40 years old with a lot of roof and had gutters in poor condition. They were unable to handle the heavy rains that occurred in the spring and summer and anytime we had a heavy shower the water would run over the gutters and pool in the side yard. We decided to replace the old gutters with covered gutters and chose two highly rated gutter companies from Angies list. Gutter helmet was one of them. The first company sent a sales guy out who looked over things for about 30 minutes, gave me a price,which he stated would be the lowest and said he could not stop the overflow off the roof without additions to the roof (more $$$). After almost six months I can tell you that we no longer have an overflow/drainage problem. The Gutter Helmet gutters handle ALL of the water coming off the roof, even in heavy downpours and for the first time in 22 years I did not have to clean leaves out of the gutters. |Gutter Helmet is not your low cost provider but you get what you pay for. We paid more money but my wife and I agree that we got a superior product that solved a severe water collection/drainage issue, just as Robie said it would. You can go cheaper but if I ever have to install gutters or recommend a gutter company, it will always be Carolina Gutter Helmet.

It works! When squirrels found an opening to build a nest, Gutter Helmet came right out, cleaned out the nest and patched up the opening. No more problems. This time they covered my 1st story gutters, garage and back porch. Robie came out the day I called to give me a quote. Once I called to schedule the work, he was able to send a crew out the next day. After the first rain, a minor adjustment was required and the crew was back the next day. I couldn't have been more pleased with the quick service and cleanup after the job was complete.

It went well. They cost was a bit higher for the entire house than I originally thought.

The service was great. We were pleased with the work they did. We had a contractor out a few months later, for other repairs, and he comented on how well the new windows were installed. We're now thinking of having gutter guards installed and we will be using this same company.

They didnt get back with me when I emailed them stating I was interested in Gutters for my home. I stated to emails only, I'm out of town.

The gutters were a mess and hadn't been cleaned in a while. They did a great job.

The Carolina Gutter Helmet crew did a great job. We had some special request and they meet all of them. We have had people stop to ask what company we went with and comment how good they look. It really helped the look of our house and we do not have to clean out gutter anymore!!!

Weather delayed, response was poor. Promised seam repair was not performed or was ineffective.

I called Carolina gutter helmet to give us an estimate to repair our gutters and to clean them as we had some gutters overflowing. Robie came on time and priced out the cost of repairing The gutters and installing gutter helmet product to prevent having to clean our gutters in the future. he also priced out what it would cost to install brand-new gutters. we chose to repair our existing gutters and install the gutter helmet product on them. Robie said They would call in a day or two to set up a time for his men to do the work. he called the next day in the afternoon and said that some of his guys had finished their last job early and wondered if they could come do ours that day. that works for us, so they came at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon and completed the project within a few hours.

Vendor was prompt in responding to the ad, came on time, and cleaned our gutters. He made some recommendations for upgraded gutters, which we did not buy. We were very satisfied with the price and service.

The initial response to an inquiry after I purchased a "big deal" from Angie's List was very satisfactory. After learning that the square footage of my home exceeded the offer limit, the gentleman gave me a really good price to clean the remaining gutters. I provided dates that would work for his team to do the service, and essentially they evaporated into thin air. After about a month (or maybe a little longer), I decided to call back to follow up on when the team could clean the gutters. The gentleman who took my call remembered doing my quote, apologized, and immediately got his team on the line to schedule the cleaning. The real clincher was that the day of my scheduled cleaning, it rained. I thought that might mean that we'd have to reschedule, but the guys showed up, on time, ready to work. The crew of 3 worked efficiently and did a REALLY good job cleaning the gutters and cleaning up all the debris from the gutters on the ground. Despite the debacle with scheduling, I was and am very pleased with the quality of work and would definitely work with this company again. If the scheduling falls through this fall, I might change that recommendation. :)

They were very prompt. My husband liked that they either e-mail or phone call and they were very prompt to respond. They went out of their way and they got back with us within a reasonable time just a few days.

It was great. They were honest and told me that my gutters were in good shape. They gave me an estimate on the Gutter Helmet, which makes leaf cleanup much easier. They were professional and gave me written information with no high pressure.

We bought our house in 2011, and one of the things I liked about it at the time was that there were no gutters to worry about cleaning and maintaining. After several good downpours, it became obvious that the house's existing system for keeping water away from the house was not sufficient, and that gutters would be necessary after all. I'd read some negative reviews about some other gutter-cover systems, but knew that I wanted something other than just a normal, open-top gutter. Gutter Helmet proved to be the answer. I had approximately 120' of gutters installed, plus the downspouts, the clip-in system, and of course the Gutter Helmet. Considering the lifetime transferable warranty, I'd say the price was completely reasonable. The Helmet part is matched to my roof; the gutters and downspouts are matched to my house, and it really all looks great -- very solid, want-to-show-it-off type installation. Highly recommended.

Missed the first appointment, but overall a good experience.

the company cleaned out the gutters and appear to have done a thorough job. However, we were also supposed to receive a gutter "tune up" involving nailing loose nails or replacing missing nails, plus replacing missing brackets. I don't believe they did this at all.
