Walk through was fine. He was prompt. Estimate was a little high, but we had used the company previously. Before the move, he contacted me his computer had crashed, and could I email him a copy of the estimate. I did. The moving truck arrived on time, but movers did not use blankets to cover any furniture, and only brought newspaper to wrap fine china, figurines... We offered directions, but mover said he could find it, and would arrive about 11 am next day. At 1:30 pm, we received a call he was lost, and it was 3 more calls, plus us going to meet him, before he arrived at 4 pm. Furniture was unloaded and placed, with everything seeming to have made the trip fine. A check for the full amount was given to the mover. The next evening, the mover notified me he had lost the check. After paying to stop payment on the first check, another was mailed to him. No bill of sale or receipt or anything was given to us. We emailed the mover a list of suggestions. Mover was patient, but not well organized.
