Two men came for 1 hour. They were very friendly and professional. I had to purchase a box that was needed to install the chandelier because they didn't have one on their truck. That required an additional visit, which I would have needed because a damaged fixture needed to be taken down and rehung. After calling to request the second appointment I wasn't contacted. I know it's difficult to remember to return phone calls you've received while driving, so that wasn't a big deal to me. I will call them again and will refer them to my friends and neighbors.

We had a timing issue originally. I thought they were going to call me back but they were communicating with me through Angie’s List so I did not see their response right away. However, the service was good and I really like the end result. My lights look great.

Unfortunately, my experience with Wright Electrical was not as good as the prior reviewers' experiences. Here is a bullet-point synopsis of the project: - first day, appointment for 9:00am, they showed up after 2:00pm. To be fair, they called at 8:30 to let me know they'd be "a little late". - When they arrived, they did not have the proper equipment (ladder, flashlights, etc), and could not work on the outdoor lights - I had anticipated this being a 6-8hour project, but after the second trip over 13 hours had been spent, without even attempting the outdoor motion sensor installation. Wright charges by the hour, so they did lower the bill to a more reasonable amount of time. As they left, I informed the technicians that I wasn't anticipating "beating them up too badly with my review" (the technician's words) because they lowered my bill. However, that was before I realized that the uncompleted motion sensor was not included, nor the fixing of one of the switches, and after I did the math, they only took off travel time to and from Lowe's plus an hour (I also hadn't seen the mess left in my basement). These things changed my thinking on the "fairness" of the bill - Both days, as soon as 5pm hit the technicians were gone, without cleaning up. After they left the second day, I found the drop-ceiling tiles scattered and trash on the floor (plastic ties, wiring, drywall pieces, etc). Not too mention, they did not have a vaccum or any plastic tarping to keep drywall from piling up in the carpet. - During the second day's appointment, the technicians had to leave 3 times to go to Lowe's for parts...and still ended up with the wrong box that was supposed to be fixed on the 3rd day's appointment. I am unsure how a professional with 20+ years experience needed 3 trips for one task (installing an outdoor light with a switch). Luckily, I was not charged for the hours took traveling to and from Lowe's. - I had an electrician look at the final work on one of the outdoor switches, and will be having him redo the work so there is less exposed conduit in the interior of the house. He did not understand some of the decision making that went into the work. - Due to not having a ladder, for the second day in a row, the technicians could not work on my motion-sensor light. They arranged an appointment for a later date (during which part of the outdoor light switch that I am unhappy with was going to be fixed). The day of the appointment happened to be a snow storm, so not wanting (or expecting) technicians working on a 20ft ladder in a snow storm, I called the owner and asked to reschedule. I was assured that I would receive a call back later that day, once he had a chance to consult his calendar. That was 9 days ago, and I have not heard anything. It is unfortunate that my experience with Wright Electrical did not go well. I used them because of their good reviews, so I am sure I just had a bad experience. To be fair, one of the technicians was diligent and did good work on one of the outdoor lights, and all three bedrooms were fixed satisfactorily. I have several other electrical projects (including finally getting the motion sensor light put up), but will not be using Wright Electrical again. They were cheaper than the competition (Corley for example), but at the end of the day I got what I paid for. Tom
Description of Work: Rewired 3 bedroom light switches and installed 2 outdoor lights. Also asked to install an outdoor motion-sensor light, but did not start/complete.

[member name removed], I was not aware of the mess the technicians left .I wish I knew when we talked last. The lead technician is new and this is not acceptable. I apologize that I have not called you back yet. We have been so backed up from the 3 days we lost due to snow. We would have had you taken care of already if it hadn't snow the day of your last appointment. I will discipline the workers, If you had not selected a different company already, I would have gave you a free service with a different crew.

I called on Thursday afternoon and by 9:00 a.m. Friday morning the problem was fixed. Two men arrived right on time and had all three switches wired and working in minutes. Great work, and they gave me an Angie's List discount.

They did the job but it took them longer than we expected to put up the fan and I had to pay them extra. I could have put up the fan in an hour. They did a good job but I wasn't completely satisfied. I would not recommend them but I would not tell somebody not to use them. I think they were honest enough, it was just that the crew they sent out was not very adept to get the job. They found a short that I was not able to find which I thought they did a very good job.

The electricians from Wright were great. I bought a new house that needed a lot of work. They took the mystery out of the process by estimating up front how much time and money it might take to perform each task. That helped me to prioritize the work into what needed to be done, and what could wait for another appointment.. Perhaps most importantly, they understood what I could do to help keep the costs low and performed only the work that was out of my league (these guys didn't need to waste their valuable time doing cosmetic work). This was the kind of customer care that really impressed me. I'll never go back to Dipple with their arbitrary cost charts and Ron-Popeil-style method of pretending to offer me a big discount on an otherwise overpriced service. The Wright electricians were competent, cordial, and took great pains to explain why and how they were doing what they were doing. They know that I have long-term plans for my house, and helped me understand how the work they did then will tie into the work that remains to be done. When they were finished, I immediately bought a coupon to have them come back out and do some of the electrical work that was lower on my list of priorities (installing extra flood lights).
Description of Work: I recently bought a 1940s-era house. These older homes rarely feature overhead lighting. Instead, the wall switches are meant to control lamps plugged into a designated wall. The electricians from Wright came out and installed/fixed some light fixtures and modernized my wiring/switches. They also corrected some DIY rewiring that the previous owner had left unfinished. As a result, the house is better lit and I feel safer living in it.

Service was excellent: they showed up on time, were very courteous, completed in a timely manner, and price was about $200-$300 less than other electricians I contacted. They are very professional. The ratings for this company was spot on at Angie's list. I would highly recommend them in the future.

Newly purchased home, no grounded outlets, insufficient number of circuits to carry balanced loads, small 100-amp fuse-state panel. Did not do a complete rewire, did separate two major appliances, added six new grounded circuits (computers, TV, etc, three on independent breakers, new 200-amp panel and two (my request) new driven ground rods. I am new in the area and thus used Angie's list to shop this contractor. Craig Wright the owner was pleasant to talk with; after explaining what I needed done he dispatched what turned out to be his "A" team, the brothers Manley and John. Both exhibited knowledge and recommendations that only made my intended improvement project better. I do have more work in the planning stages, when ready Wright Electric will be a part of the program.

We have used Wright Electrical before and loved the service. While installing the outlet in the laundry room, due to a slight error in judgement, there was some damage done to our wood floor. We communicated this to Craig Wright and he responded immediately. He paid to have the floor repaired by the company of our choice and gave us an hour of free service with the same employees that had previously provided excellent service. While it is great to have everything go perfectly, sometimes this does not happen. The real quality of a company is the way they stand behind their service. We are extremely happy with Wright Electrical because we know if there is a problem, they will promptly work to solve it to the customers satisfaction. We will definitely use Wright Electrical in the future and we highly recommend them.

We bought the Angie's list deal. They arrived when they said they would, and replaced ceiling fan and corrected light switch issue within an hour. Very professional and also provided us with a quote for future work we wanted done. We felt very good about the work they did and feel confident we have found the go to company for our electrician needs. Thank you for the great work!

They were wonderful. There were no additional charges on top of the big deal. They were also going to install a light but I could not find it, so it was not their fault. It was my first time to use them. They could come back and do it again if they want to. I did not have any issues with the service. They called right away and were prompt. They followed up. They were good. Had I been able to find my light, they would have installed that too.
