+ -1 moreI was told the price would be one price and paid it. The following month I received a bill telling me that they were wrong and I owed more than what I was originally told.

+ -1 moreOverall we liked Budget Refuse and Waste Industries reported they would continue Budgets routes and service - pickup of carboard or overflow from container. So far they have done that but I'm not happy with the customer service. Any future issues and I will have to go to a different provider.
Description of Work: Waste Industries bought out Budget Refuse to become our new service provider. Changed pick up time without notice from ~11am to ~715am. They missed our house and at least one other due to not having our garbage on the road in time. Waste Industries refused to come back and make the pickup unless we paid a $25 special trip fee.

+ -1 moreUsed Waste Industries to replace Waste Management. So far so good. Importantly, if anything goes wrong, I can get a real person on the telephone line -- and the company is responsive. Very different from my experience with Waste Management.

+ -1 moreThe workers are very professional and courteous. They will pick up extra bagged trash if container is filled and bags set out with provided container. They will also pick up collapsed boxes. Unlike a competitor, they take great care not to hit vehicles parked on the street. We have been very pleased with the service. Our only issue has been when we did not receive a bill and service was cut off with no warning. This took a while to sort out and customer service group does not seem to be a strong point. Overall they are a good company I would recommend.
Description of Work: They provide weekly trash pick up and bill quarterly. Extra is charged for pick-up of yard wastes (approximately $2.00 per bag, using prepaid stickers) and recyclables ($5.00 per quarter). Recyclables are picked up every other week.
