Description of Work: Asphalt shingle roof and rotted fascia boards had to be replaced. Four-year-old Ultimate Gutter Guard gutters were sagging and had to be removed and re-hung after wood repairs and roofing work was completed.

Description of Work: Contacted them via an insert circular including 60% off labor and a $25 Walmart Gift Card with estimate for gutters. Rep (who was a great salesman), came over and when making appointment was told it would take 45 minutes to measure; took over 2 hours to hear presentation with exorbitant prices that kept changing like buying a used car. When he was leaving asked about the 'gift card' and he said he didn't know anything about that but the company sends them. The company called numerous times and when I asked about the 'gift card' was told 'yea, we'll send it'. Never did. Got a great system elsewhere much more reasonable.

Description of Work: They replaced our old leaf-catching gutters. The new Ultimate Gutter Guards are wonderful. It has been 3 years and no leaves in the gutters yet. Well worth every dollar spent.

Description of Work: This company is excellent. They kept us informed of rescheduling - due to rain, not their doing. Then they did have a vehicle problem but, called us right away to let us know. They arrived on a Wednesday, did the roof in one day, installed gutters on Friday and we couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: Ultimate Gutter Guard installed new gutters on one of my houses and the Leaf X system on another house. They did an excellent job -- the installers were punctual, they were courteous and kind. The gutters look great and I'm sure that they will solve my problems. | |One thing really bothered me -- they had a financing deal with Wells Fargo Bank (no interest if the loan is paid within a year). I jumped on that, BUT I took the salesman at his word when he said the application was a standard application and I did not read it. I later found out that part of the loan agreement included my applying for a Visa card through Wells Fargo, a card I certainly did not want. The card has been issued to me and I will never use it. The problem is this -- a refusal to use a card within a certain period of time can hurt one's credit score. I was rather angry that the salesman did not inform me of this condition. I may not have done business with them had I known this up front.

Description of Work: The home I bought did not have soffits installed. Consequently, if one looked up, roofing nails holding the shingles on could be seen. We wanted to have soffits installed on the overhang of the roof so that it looked more finished. The company sent a representative out to get measurements and price the job based on the choices we made for materials. Moreover, he facilitated financing the job with a reputable company.

Description of Work: Gutter-Guard is a brand name of a particular type of gutter system for roofs. A storm caused a branch to fall from a tree. It landed on the edge of my roof and broke a 15-20 yard section of the "hat" part of the system. The hat is held in place by a special bracket that fits within the gutter. It was not a hard piece to fit; however, I could not get any representative of Gutter-Guard to agree to sell me the part. I called adjacent States with no luck until I spoke with the South Carolina representative, "Ultimate Gutter Guard". When I went to the company, they would not "sell" me the part. Instead, they gave it to me (a dozen brackets) just to make sure I had enough to install myself.
