It didn't go the way he wanted, as although he saved money by not paying me, You all get to know the REAL Rudisills. He hired me to cut grass, then, after 2 painstaking weeks, working next to him and having unwanted sexual advances towards me, and comments about his *********** Addiction (Digging ditches in 100 degree Heat!, he Fired me and didnt pay me properly)and lhis love for watching Gay ****, in particular. He micromanaged Everything I did and Chastized me for not being able to read his mind. His wife is in charge of signing the checks, so this is on Her as well. I still haven't received pay and I have incurred penalties and couldn't pay for lodging during remnants of hurricane (He KNEW this and I believe it's why he didn't pay me properly. Gets off on other's Suffering.

We chose to go with another company but would be happy to hire Todd if the need ever arises again.

All the work was done while we were out of town. Todd and his crew did an excellent job - did much more than we asked for. It was a pleasant surprise. My husband did ask for him to cut the vines down off of two trees in the back yard and that part was missed. But the rest of the work was so superb that we did not complain. Todd and crew were meticulous. They installed a gorgeous paver patio in the back yard. They did not cut corners when installing and worked so hard in the blazing summer heat. We have been so please with our patio!

Crew of three worked efficiently for several days. They were communicative and responsive to my desires. Site was left clean at the end of each day. Quality of the work was excellent and the final result was beautiful.

Todd and his crew are as hard-working as I've ever seen while remaining good-natured in extreme heat over long hours. We appreciate Todd's obvious joy in improvising little touches, working around surprises. We look forward to Phase 2 of our landscaping, adding colorful, appropriate plantings in the autumn. On a scale of 1 to 10, he/they get a 12.

His crew were friendly, hard working and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were very concerned with our approval and opinions. A good experience.

I talked to them and they said he would call me back to set up an appointment for the estimate, but they never did.

Overall, Todd was honest, efficient and thorough. His pricing was very fair and up front. We used him in August 2010 for a smaller repair and then used him again in November 2010. We are now probably going to use him again on a much larger job based on our previous good experience. He is very busy, but has been worth the little bit of wait.

I fired him in October of last year. He did mowing, blowing, maintenance flower beds, installed mulch and did some irrigation work. I spent about $7,000 or $8,000 for all the service. The quality of his work started out really good and then he started derotating after he started loosing business. It got to the point where he could not justify his increase in price from $250 a month for maintenance to $300. He thought that I would bring him back, but I told him once I fire someone I don’t want them back on my property.

Todd is very professional. The quality of the pavers he put in, about 75 ft 4-5 ft wide was excellent. They have held up well, with no heaving over the winter/spring season.

He’s been working on it for a long time because of the weather and because he has just been swamped with work. He seems to be very earnest, very polite, and he’s not out to cheap anybody. I have a disability and he’s worked around that really well in terms of meeting with me at times I can manage. He’s a good worker and I’d hire him again. I think he just got too much work all at once. He does quality work but it’s taking a very long time and scheduling is a problem. My yard is very small so I had a lot of trouble finding someone who is willing to take on such a small job. He returns phone calls and emails.

He came out and did a review of our situation, but determined that he couldn't do the work and recommended someone else, as it wasn't his expertise. We ended up not using them, but he was fine.

We have not had Todd perform the work due to budget constraints, but appreciated his professionalism.

Overall - I feel as though I spent a lot of money and got very little results. Todd is very prompt in returning your phone call and coming out to provide an estimate. He seems to be very knowledgeable and professional. We spoke about what needed to be done and he made some suggestions, like tree wells and mulch beds on the side of my house where our air conditioner is as well as edging around our garden beds. I felt as though the additions were good ideas. Approx. 2 weeks after giving him the ok, he and his crew showed up to the house unannounced (I was actually picking up the phone to tell him that I was no longer interested when I saw their truck outside). His crew did a good job removing the large amount of yard debris, and trimming some of the bushes. The edging was all of 1 inch wide by 1 1/2 inches deep, I was under the impression that the edging was going to be much more substantial - especially for the $275 cost of this service. When he suggested tree wells and adding mulch beds to the sides of the house - I had expected a professional job - removing the pre-existing grass, laying down weed killer, etc. No - his crew laid the pine needles directly on top of the pre-existing grass. Now I have these mulch beds with grass and weeds growing up through it. The weed control spray was a joke - three weeks in, and I don't see that a single weed has even turned brown in the yard. This leads me to believe that this may not have even been done. When I brought my concerns to him a week or so after the job, he said that we did not discuss removing the grass under the tree wells or on the side of the house and that I should use 'Round Up' on the grass and weeds. He said that results of the weed control spray sometimes won't be noticeable for a month (really ???),. I thought I was hiring professionals to do a pro job, but in return I received results that I could have gotten had I done it myself (but I would have done a better job). Update: Todd himself returned to increase the width and depth of the bed edging and to respray for weed control. He is also helping to remedy the problem with the mulch beds on the side of the house. He's been very responsive to my requests to resolve the issues and is doing the work himself.

Excellent!! Todd came on time for our first appointmnet, looked the area over, offered some suggestions for size and color of pavers for the edging and for the design and type of shrubbery for the backyard. He even offered to incorporate some potted plants

Todd returned my call promptly. He called to verify the time on day of service. I found him to be professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. He and his crew answered all of my questions without me feeling rushed.

I called Monday morning and left a message. He returned my call later that day and said he would call 10 minutes before he would be at my house to provide an estimate. He said that if it turned out that he couldn't make it, he would call and make an appointment. It is now Saturday night and I still haven't heard from him. If the service is this bad before the sale, imagine how bad it could be after. I suggest you stay away.

They completed the work in two days; including testing the system to ensure all parts were working properly and that water spray patterns covered the intended areas. The did a great job of cleaning up the work site including reseeding of grass in areas seed had washed away or that had been dug up for the work.

The crew was very careful in laying a proper base for the wall and making sure the first row was level before proceeding to build the remaining height. They were also attentive to providing proper drainage to help both the flower bed and the wall integrity. They completed the work on schedule and cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. They were flexible about a late alteration/addition to the plans my spouse made to have a small wall made around another flower bed.

They have been on time, except when rain interfered. Todd has being flexible about doing small extras upon request, such as extra pruning or weeding. They done done a very consistent, professional job of maintaining the yard and I will be happy to renew the contract.

Todd came out the same day at the time he said that he would arrive. He fixed the problems that he could, on the spot. There were some parts that he did not have on the truck. He came back same day with the parts and finished the repairs.

My name is Ross Styles. I work on a boat for 2 weeks at a time and then I get 1 week off...at home, here in Travelers Rest. When hurricane Gustav hit south Louisiana on Labor Day, the day before I'm due off, I knew I wouldn't get home for a few days, and so it was that I really didn't have time to cut the grass at my sister's house or at mine. That's when I looked in Angie's List and found Todd Rudisill for some yard work. Todd met me only an hour or so after I called him that morning. Even coming from Greenville to Travelers Rest, he was on time. Todd was easy to talk to and he understood my limited time at home, and agreed to cut and trim both my yard and my sister's yard. Todd showed up when he said he would, he did a great job on our 2 yards, and even my sister found him easy to deal with, knowledgeable and friendly. See, she had to pay him, because by then, I was back at work, on the boat, dodging hurricane Ike! Thank you Todd for meeting me and doing the work on such short notice. I can easily see me hiring you again.
