Stanley Steemer

I liked them. It must have been a good price, but I don’t remember. They were very professional. They moved things out of the way. Then after they cleaned the carpets they put something underneath the furniture and told me to keep it there for 2 days; so that way mold wouldn’t develop. It was very simple, but an effective way to make it perfect. It took a couple of hours to do the work.

They did really good. They were very professional, punctual and did a good job. They did 5 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs. I thought it was a little bit high but it wasn't bad for all the rooms.

They do a good job. When they clean it and you tell them that it's not good enough, they go back. I shouldn't have to tell them to do it. They are easy to contact and they are dependable when they show up. What they charge is worth every penny. One was very professional and other one was like a new cat.

We really were not happy with him. There were just some places in the carpet in 2 of the rooms that they didn't get cleaned. I know it's not new carpet and I know sometimes carpet can't be cleaned. We thought that they could have done quite a bit better job. They seemed to know what they were doing and they have a very good reputation. We get all kinds of deals on carpet cleaning for $79 and $129. There are tons of carpet cleaners around. My wife didn't want one of those places. She likes either Ron's or Stanley Steemer so I called Stanley Steemer and there was no deal. It was expensive. They sure weren't here very long. They really kind of knocked it out. There were some places I thought they should have been able to get cleaned. Afterwards we discussed it. We would not use them again. If I'm going to have somebody do unsatisfactory job of cleaning my carpet, I'm not going to pay them $200. I'll pay somebody $79 for doing a poor job of cleaning my carpet. The guy told me they had a lot of places to do that day. He mentioned that they got 9 more places to go to. It just seemed like they had so much to do that they just weren't here very long. In 2 other rooms, there were some places where we thought they should have been able to do a better job.

Carpet was clean. I did not feel that the two men providing the service were concerned with my satisfaction. Luckily the carpets were clean and did not result in calling them to come back. However we used the same company a couple years ago and were more than satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Two guys that came were very professional. Best job we have ever had done on cleaning our carpets. Answered question well, very polite. Did good job on explaining procedure. Will definitely use again.

2 very professional gentlemen arrived at our home. They immediately put on booties to make sure they didn't bring dirt in the house. Viewed the area to be cleaned. Steam cleaned whole downstairs carpet area and sectional couch. Came up with recommendations to scotchguard sofa and also let us know there were pet stains (from the previous owner) that needed extra work. The explained all options available along with pricing BEFORE anything was done. They also scrubbed a small area in a bathroom that had a stain we couldn't get up!!!

No problems. We were very pleased with the time it took. the price and the results.

It went well. The gentlemen were punctual and courteous. They worked continuously until the job was complete.

They seemed to do a good job cleaning but I do wish that they had worn some kind of covering on their feet between running back and forth to the truck and the wet carpets. I was a little perturbed because at the time I scheduled my appointment, they were running commercials on TV that they had $35 discount on any work that over $150. When I asked them about that, they said that it didn’t apply in our area; however, the commercials were here so I wasn’t quite sure of what to make out of that. So I am not sure how I feel about the discount but they did a real good job of cleaning. The only other quote I got was from a person who specialized in doing area rugs. In my understanding by far the best way is for the rug to be taken into a factory setting, where it goes through a multistep process of cleaning from the bottom and the top. It is a real big process but it was over $300 so I just decided to go ahead and have it done this way this time. I don’t really have anything to compare it to and the other price I got was for a completely different process so I think giving them a 'B' on price would not be totally fair. They had finished the previous job early and so they called me and asked me if they could come early, which I appreciated.

Arrived early, worked hard while there, very professional, I was disappointed they could not remove discoloriation in one room; however, it was cerainly not their fault. they tried. price not cheap, but considering work done very competitave.

They did a great job but it didn't last, the spot came back. They were very professional when they came.

We had them move the furniture and other things. They were able to get the stains out. We were very satisfied. They were on time, quick, and did what they said they would do. It was a very easy experience.

The entire house of carpeting was cleaned perfectly with no stains remaining. Upstairs we had food and drink stains on the carpets. In the basement we had drink stains as well as dog and cat urination and throw up stains. The house, after the carpets were cleaned smelled fresh and the carpets looked like new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andre and Brandon came and cleaned 3 bedrooms. Our master bedroom and 2 kids bedrooms. The house is only a year old but the carpets were in bad shape because we have 3 kids under 4 years old. Little juice spills, tracks from shoes, etc had made tons of tiny spots in the carpet in the rooms. Andre and Brandon moved EVERYTHING except the 2 beds. Night stands, dressers, kids toys, everything. The spots are all gone. The floors look fantastic. They took great care with all of our items and did a fantastic job. They also treated the floors with a protectant to make the stains easier to clean up in the future. I also bought some spot cleaner from them that doesn't have soap in it, which Andre said wasn't good for the carpet. I will definitely be calling Stanley Steemer in the future.

I think they do a great job. They put the furniture on plastic so it doesn't get wet. They also are very careful around my grandfather clock, and china cabinet.

They did a great job. They came when they said they would come. They charged me what they said they were going to charge. The carpets looked really good when they were finished.

The two gentlemen that cleaned our carpets were very friendly and professional. They did call to say they would be about 15 mins late (first thing in the morning), but at least they called. We just moved into the house so there was NO furniture upstairs for them to move, which made the job go VERY quickly (less than 1hr). We have no idea how old the carpets are, probably at least 5-10 yrs. There were stairs from an office desk that I was hoping they could get out. The tech said if it was a rust stain from a metal desk, it would probably come up, but if it was from a wooden desk, it probably wouldn't. The stains didn't come up. That was disappointing, but I feel confident that they did everything they knew how to do to try. Everything else looks great, the carpets look amazing, especially the stairs which were stained with normal wear. I would use them again.

The experience was great! They were scheduled to arrive at 8:30. Although they arrived a few minutes late, I cannot complain. I had numerous stains on the carpet from pets, a new baby, and just normal wear over the years. They were extremely efficient in cleaning all of the rooms. The whole process only took about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Afterwards, I was amazed at the results. The carpet looked almost brand new. The spots were gone and have not returned since cleaning (over a week). The two gentlemen were extremely courteous and took care of moving all of the furniture with the exception of large pieces. They explained on the phone when giving the estimate that they will not move entertainment centers or extremely heavy\large pieces. I will definitely call them again!

I would ask others to look for them in Angie?s list and they are consistently the highest rated carpet cleaning company. The consumer report says the same thing about Stanley Steemer. I will rate the crew an A. They were really nice. You could actually see the difference after they cleaned the carpet. They were very careful and the carpet dried quickly. The price they charged me was great. Two guys come out with a professional unit like that for $120 then who is going to argue. They called back afterwards as a part of their service to check on how things are going and some of the carpets had buckled a little bit because of the moisture. They assured me that it was normal, and they see it always. Those buckles did go away. They were professional. They were right on time. We scheduled them a week in advance and they said they will be there at 9 and they were her when it was five minutes to 9. I had no problem with them at all. I will definitely use this company for carpet cleaning in the future as well.
