Works great. Better than original install

Did not rate 5 star because tech. arrived without the needed part. Don't know if it was lack of communication from customer service or what. Anyway he went to get part and installed it. Cost was same as estimate from customer service.

Excellent service. He found and corrected installation shortcomings done by a handyman.

David Emyart from the Sears Home Services office in Greenville, SC did a first class job to adjust and tune-up my garage door with power lift. He was totally professional and knowledgeable, a real pleasure to deal with for a home service call. I wanted to express my appreciation to Sears for sending someone so skilled in his craft to handle this call.

Very professional and thorough. Actually, did not know that they worked on other types of doors as well; will call back to have other doors adjusted. Attended Greenville Home and Garden Show recently, and received a coupon for a discount.

Problem solved. Tune-up was timely and discovered a problem that could have become worse.

The appointment was reconfirmed in advance and he arrived on time. From the beginning to end I was impressed with his knowledge of the system and what needed to be done. He worked efficiently but was ready to answer any questions. The work area was tidy throughout the process. The door looks great and has worked perfectly from the first time and going forward. I couldn't imagine how he could have handled any part of the process better. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone and would use them again if the need arises.

Good experience. My 15 year old opener stripped its drive gear. Interacted with Mr. Roederer and one installer. Discussed pros/cons of fixing an older system vs replacing with a newer model and newer features, compared costs. I decided for total replacement. Had one false start, where Mr. Roederer got a couple addresses switched -- lost a day to that. But he was very apologetic and took full responsibility. Arrived within time window for rescheduled appointment. Pleasant, professional, informative -- he made sure I understood all aspects of their service. Technician was highly skilled at uninstalling/re-installing. Moved through the process quickly and professionally. Gave me needed instruction on use of devices, resetting remotes, etc. Hauled away the old equipment. I would recommend these folks to friends.

The safety laser was broken causing the door to refuse to shut. The technician came out and he adjusted the safety laser which fixed the problem. He was only at my home for about 2 minutes. He did fix the problem, he was nice and he came on time but I felt that the cost was too expensive for the amount of work he did. I complained to Sears about the price and I was told that they hire contractors who are allowed to charge whatever they want. I will probably use Sears again.

I would probably recommend them. As far as them respecting my home it seemed like they were in a hurry, but they were trying to accommodate my schedule which was understandable too. They weren't necessarily hurrying to get on to the next job. I think they were trying to get out of my hair. Their pricing was good. The quality of the work seemed to be satisfactory. I would use them again to clean my carpet.

They sent out a repair man. He was very nice and very professional. We were satisfied with his work. We have always received good service from Sears. We like them.
