We had a drain pipe clogged causing a overflow into a slower, Contacted Roto-Rooter, Kim said she would send a serviceman. Within 30 mins Ronnie was at the door. He assessed the problem, went straight to work. He checked the pipes under the house, toilets, sinks, showers, cleaned the pipes and had everything running in no time at all. Ronnie kept us up to date on what was going on, and what problems he found. All this in the pouring rain. Nice job ROTO-ROOTER!!

Excellent, the service response was quick, went to work immediately, showed me problem, showed me results of cleaning out the pipe and left the yard almost as if it was never touched. I am very pleased with the work.

The tech that they sent to us (Jay) was fantastic. He was on time, professionally dressed, well spoken, and clean. Yes clean clothes as if he had worn a crawl suit or something. For those of you who have never crawled houses before this is no small feat. Anyway he not only unclogged the backup he also dug up the ground to the septic tank lid so that he could get a look at what was going on inside. He then provided us with some helpful Rid-Ex tips for monthly maintenance so that he would not have to return in the future. It took about 2 hours or so for him to take care of the situation at which time I expected a hefty $350.00 bill, but he handed me the original quoted bill for $169.50. I will use these guys from this day forward and recommend them for any plumbing duties based on their professionalism and knowledge. Jay at Roto-Rooter is our plumbing guy.

It was Labor Day and we called Roto Rooter after the toliets and bathtub in two of our three bathrooms failed to drain. They told us their service guy was on a call but would get to us. It took a while but he did get to us. In the meantime we discovered that our 5 year old grandson had tossed an action figure down one of the toliets to see if it would flush. It did and I am sure that is what the problem was. Scott was the service man and he was courteous, efficient and very thorough. Stayed with it until he found the problem and kept us informed the entire time. Everything is up and functioning properly and Scott explained everything in detail, including the fact that we may have additional problems because he didn't find the action figure! No problem, he honored the coupon Roto Rooter had on Angies list and all is well for now. There is no doubt that I will use Roto Rooter again and will ask that they send Scott out to handle my issue or installation.

Everything went fine. Showed up right away and on time. I didn't inspect the water under the house, but as far as I know he took care of the problem professionally. It may have been a "dirty job" but he left with a spotless reputation!

They were awesome they gave the best estimate they saved you 1000.00 compared to my other estimates he was the 3rd one to come down and they had the best price. It was an excellent job.

Technician arrived as scheduled and quickly understood the issue when explained. I had already removed the toilet for replacement so the technician had easy access to the rough-in opening. Problem has manifested itself for nearly 9 years (since house built), but had become more problematic recently. Cleared drain (multiple passes from all locations) for about 75 feet but noted no major obstructions or obvious causes of slow draining. Opined that the original roughed-in plumbing could have been installed inadequately or with insufficient venting. Said that this could be checked with a remote camera (through the pipes) if the problem remained but that he did not recommend this expense now. Technician did a good job cleaning up the work area before he left and all paperwork was handled efficiently and professionally. Despite no obvious problems, the lav, shower, and new toilet now drain correctly. I will not pay for the remove camera work now, but will keep this in mind should the problem return.

We had a big leak in the drain pipe of the master bathroom. I called about 9:00am on Friday and the call was answered promptly with live person who was able to listen to problem and give immediate feedback to approximate cost prior to sending out a plumber. I liked that the prices were upfront and reasonable and the lady I was talking with very knowledgeable about the whole circumstance. We were told they would be out sometime that afternoon. We weren't going anywhere, so I didn't try to pinpoint an exact time. I was fine with just being called when they were headed to our house. Once the guys were here they addressed the issue promptly and realized they had to run out and get parts. One guy stayed behind to start with vacuuming the pipe and the other returned within about 15 minutes. They worked quickly and efficiently. Clean up was well done; couldn't even tell they had been here other than we no longer have any leakage issues! I think they did a great job and I'll be calling them again if we have any more plumbing issues.

The plumber stood here for a long time, replaced it, and did an excellent job. It was a Saturday, it was an emergency, but they came in at 10 in the night, left at two in the morning, and did an excellent job. The toilets they had were better than the ones we had. They were here for over a day to replace both the toilets. The price was high but it was an emergency service and we called them out in the last minute. They were really nice and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and it was no bother whatsoever. The first time they were here was for an old faucet and they figured out a way to fix it by using a reverse washer, which is still working several years later. So they are very ingenious and extremely competent.

Good experience. I am glad we called them.

Came in to hook up a new gas dryer for us. Also took a look at a water leak that we will surely call an make an appointment to come fix. Needed a unusual part and quickly ran to hardware store to get. Got the dryer hooked up to the gas.

I called Roto Rooter to pump my septic after having a bad experience with another company who didn't complete the job or do it correctly. They came out and were extremely professional in appearance and actions. They explained everything they were doing and explained how my septic tank worked since I have a tank and also a pumping tank. They said that my tank didn't need to be pumped at this time and I could wait another year or two if I wanted but I went ahead and had them pump the tank since they were here. I was very pleased and it was a night and day experience compared to the first company. I would definitely use them again!

I have not replaced the commode yet, so it is still a little slow, but it is working better. I felt that the price was too high for the time spent, but that is my fault for not checking into the rates more explicitly. Their customer service representative did call me to ask what they could do to improve their service, and gave me $20 off my next service. I appreciate their follow-up.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services in Greenville. They came out in September. We have used them since then, but that was the first time. The services cost $154. I thought it was reasonable because we called them and they came out that same day within a couple hours. It was very reasonable. We like their promptness, they come right away, their availability I should say. Every time they have been super nice. They are very good. When they did the toilets they didn't leave anything behind.

It was difficult for him because the blockage was sooo bad, but he did a great job.

He arrive on time, check the problem out, explained we had well water and it had eaten the copper through the years, replaced the outside faucets. At all times he was professional and nice. The second time the faucets upstairs had the same thing happen and he came and installed new faucets, very nice person. Cleaned up, and the bill was not a surprise because he goes over everything before you get the final bill.

It was a Sunday and our sewer was backed up. This had happened in the past, and we called a different company that sent someone who inspected the problem then gave us an estimate before beginning the work. We expected the same routine this time, but the guy went straight to work then handed us a bill for over $300 for clearing the drain pipe. He arrived very quickly and was very knowledgable. He really knew what he was doing with our "oddly installed pipes". I would have appreciated an estimate or a conversation on the charges before he did completed the job.

I called Roto Rooter because my hot water heater stopped working. The plumber who came was knowledgeable and was able to quote me a price to replace my old water heater. He installed the new water heater within the day. He was neat and efficient explaining what I needed to know. Months later my sink was blocked so Roto Rooter came again and cleared the drain. The plumber told me that if I had the same trouble in the near future, he would have to use a camera to find an additional blockage, but he did not want me to go to that expense if it was not necessary. I have not had trouble since that time. I like about Roto Rooter because they respond so very quickly and are reasonable in their fees. Roto Rooter does an honest job without trying to sell products the costumer does not need. I have used other plumbers in my area , but they were three times as expensive as Roto Rooter and the other plumbing companies were not as responsive. I trust Roto Rooter and will only use them for future plumbing needs.

It went well and the plumber did a good job of fixing the problem and explaining what he did. I would reccomend Roto Rooter as a dependable and reasonable plumbing and drain contractor. They were also prompt and made effort to get job done that same day.

I’ve used the plumber twice and got $50 saving. He suggested me where to go to buy the commodes. I’ve had no problem with him and have been very satisfied.

We didn't have particularly high expectations from the beginning. It's not that we expected incompetence, we just thought we'd be lucky -- period -- to get our sewer line cleared on a Sunday. We also thought we'd be lucky to see someone before nightfall. And, because we'd called a national chain (Roto Rooter), we assumed we'd probably get mixture of a somewhat-competent service person and a "hard sell" of expensive services. Frankly, we didn't care. We just wanted our sewer line cleared. Our heart sank when an answering service took our initial call. However, we received a follow-up call within 5 minutes after speaking with the answering service. We were ecstatic when Bill Ramsey from Roto Rooter arrived at our home within an hour of our initial call. We were very pleased to have anybody show up so quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Bill was great....a true professional, with absolutely no hard-sell. After checking things out, he told us he suspected tree roots were our problem. He thought the whole thing would be solved with an "auger job", but said it was possible that he could encounter other issues. However, he cautioned not to fear the worst, but to be aware of the possibilities. It turned out that tree roots were indeed the culprit. Bill had to cut through several. The whole thing took a little more than an hour. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The price was a little more than we'd initially expected -- but certainly not unreasonable,,..and very worth the service rendered. We also learned that Bill was much more than a sewer guy. He was a highly trained and experienced plumbing professional who could service any plumbing issue we might encounter in our house. Bottom line -- we will definitely call Rotor Rooter again for our next plumbing need of any kind. And we will specifically ask for Bill Ramsey. We know he'll be there quickly and do a great job.
