Red Leaf Hardwood

Description of Work: We just bought this house that is two years old and I hired this company to install hardwood floors in three bedrooms because the owner/builder said he installed the original hardwood floors. The POC (Eric Johnson) never came into the house to do a materials take off. I am in Iraq and gave him measurements from the former owner over the phone and I told him this. He came over $500 short on materials and was billing me for this. He never came in the house to inspect work going on. If he did he would have seen that his crew failed to sand out a mill mark the size of a baseball. They then stained and put urethane over it. He said his crew was "professionals" yet they walked across existing hardwood flooring from one end of house to a bedroom at other end of house, in the kitchen and up some stairs. His crew helped themselves to the toilet over several days and used a roll and half of toilet paper. They were never there more than 5 hours at the most. They also helped themselves to can drinks for the kids in the fridge. Eric Johnson never came into the house to do a completion inspection. He only came in after we told him of the footprints. We told him that we didn't want that same crew of so called "professionals"back in the house to try to fix the problem they caused. He said its the only crew he uses. We had another flooring "professional" with 30 yrs experience to look at fixing the mess. Eric Johnson said he was only going to knock $350 of the bill of $5113 that took 3 weeks to complete. I gave him the money minus what it was going to take to fix his mess.($4122) He is now demanding all but the $350. So I am still going to have to spend more money due to his "professionals"

Description of Work: replace hardwood due to water damage and refinish all hardwood floors

Description of Work: Installed Hardwood Floors all over our home and refinished existing floors to match new floors.
