I wish I could give this company negative stars. I paid $1200 to have new lattice. It was not even sufficiently nailed. NOW IT IS BOWED AND COMING DOWN. I am going to have to pay someone else to fix what they did. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

I am a single female homeowner with years of homeownership experience but limited knowledge of what every board attached to my home is called. I feel like this was known to Davis Nix (Pronto's owner) when he met with me but he didn't do his due diligence to make sure I understood everything about his quote and what to expect along the way. I am writing this unhappy review after numerous attempts to resolve this with Davis and after being ghosted by him after promises to make this right were made to me by him - more than anything I want this to serve as a warning to other homeowners to be sure ALL details are in writing and that there's no confusion over what work is supposed to be done as part of your quote. I had some wood fascia boards on my 25 year old home that needed to be replaced so I decided I wanted to go ahead and replace all of the existing wood boards with composite material that never rots, (except what’s under my front porch overhang that is not impacted by weather or carpenter bees/woodpeckers). I also had visible woodpecker damage on what I heard later was called a "soffit" and a piece of garage trim piece that showed age that I wanted replaced - I believed that we both understood these boards were also supposed to be replaced so that there would be NO DAMAGED wood on my home but that was my first mistake. I accepted the explanation for the high quote I received being due to the height of my home (no basement but tall in the front) and the need to remove and reinstall gutters but my 2nd mistake was not requiring a detailed, board-by-board, list of the work to be completed. Also, a subcontractor he brought in required an additional $650 over what I'd already agreed to for removing and reinstalling the gutters so my 3rd mistake was trusting what he said about why this was happening even though this pushed my quote to the price point I had walked away from with another contractor that quoted the job. The primary fascia work that WAS completed was done well by the subs he brought in but when the guys came back to put the gutters back up and I walked to see the progress of the work I saw the damaged "soffit" was still up there, the damaged garage trim board was not replaced and some of the primary fascia on the first floor had not been replaced so I reached out to Davis. His initial response was mostly him explaining the different names of the boards and me asking him if he honestly thought I was doing all of this at the price I was paying to wind up STILL HAVING HOLES IN MY HOUSE but there was no animosity on my part at this point because I trusted him - it seemed like there was no good explanation for the work being left off the quote and he offered to return on his own to fix the soffit situation, either by patching the holes and painting so there was no visible damage or to use vinyl trim pieces to basically cover the damage. This left me to figure out how to get the garage trim and remaining wood fascia boards replaced on my own and not wanting to be a jerk I let it go but I was definitely frustrated. – not ideal but manageable and since I genuinely liked and trusted Davis at this point I was not thinking for a minute he would betray my trust. Mistakes #4 & #5 were trusting that he would come back to fix the bad soffit AND paying him the balance I owed on the original quote and for the subcontractor overage because not only did he not come back but he has completely ghosted me at this point. I still don’t want to believe what seemed like a great guy has now left me hanging but after numerous attempts to contact him that have been ignored I have decided one recourse I have is to leave an honest review here so that other potential clients can avoid the pitfalls I encountered.

Don’t waste your time with this guy. Recently, we contacted a business (Pronto) to give us an estimate on some decorative wall treatment in a newly remodeled bathroom. We have the knowledge and tools to do the job but were hesitant in doing it ourselves because of time and our desire to do it. We contacted him (Davis Nix), he agreed to come over and give us an estimate. We met him on time, he measured and took notes. He said that he could do this work with great quality and would get back with us. That estimate never came. We called him in one week, then 2 weeks, then texts and emails politely asking for his estimate. Each time our contact information was clear with phone numbers, email addresses, etc. What we got was SILENCE. No response whatsoever. We were professional in our correspondence and never gave him anything but a comfortable way to send us an estimate or to tell us he didn't want to do the job. We got nothing from him. Not a text or call or email to this day, 2 months later. In 2 months, he had no ability to respond to us in any way. When he was at our house, we gave him no reason to avoid us and our job for him. I believe this person to be irresponsible with customer's time and simple courtesy. Don't waste your time with Davis Nix.
