Charlie did a good job building the home. At the same time another family member was having a home built by another builder. We sure wish Precision built both homes. Precision went above and beyond in every single area of construction on our home. From grading the property to the final swipe of the paint roller. Great respect for this company.

The work was estimated to take 4 weeks and finished 3-1/2 weeks. Workers were responsive to questions and minor design changes that came up during the work. All workers were polite and easy to communicate with. I would use them again if needed in the future

I discovered I had a flooded closet floor (carpet soaked) early on a Saturday morning. I called Precision Carpentry and Plumbing and spoke to Charlie Dieterich and was relieved when he told me he would have someone out shortly. A short time later Mike Dieterich arrived and immediately went to work to discover the source of the leak (a burst CPVC pipe behind a wall) and repaired same. Mike was very friendly, professional and qualified. I am very pleased with the job he did and I will certainly call him again if I have a carpentry or plumbing need.

Was great..team showed up on time with butcher paper to cover my floors and coverings on shoes.. no paint blobs..even and carefully sanded treatment of attic door etc..explained operation of retractable ladder and were pleasant.. would contract again..top marks

Charlie and Joedy were very professional and personable. They kept the renovation progressing everyday and were always responsive to any inquiries. Charlie's team gutted our master bath, installed custom made vanity and cabinets, opened up walled shower and installed tile and glass wall and door. Work included all new pipes/plumbing including toilet and fixtures, new lighting and additional electrical outlets, subfloor was replaced and new floor tile installed. It was refreshing to pay as the project progressed and generally after the work was completed instead of providing $$ up front not knowing if you would ever see the contractor again. We really enjoyed working with Charlie and his team, especially Jeremy who did so much of the behind the scenes work. He also painted the bathroom and never complained when we changed the color.....twice. Thanks Jeremy!!

They did excellent work and were extremely professional. The kept our home clean while performing the work. They were on time and on budget. We will be use them again for additional projects.

Highly recommended! All the crews - carpentry, sheetrock, electrical and paint were great people. Their trade work was excellent and spot on, timely arrivals, and a genuine caring for space that is inhabited! Liberal use of plastic and paper for covering, keeping dust to a minimum, cleaning up the trash and hauling it away were all done daily. Good communication with contractor - which is always appreciated. Quality products, quality work and honest answers based on lots of experience. Glad I found these guys.

Great Job, identified problem, fixed and cleaned up.

For several months we had water coming into our garage and a leaking exterior door. Had two different contractors come out to "repair" and neither could fix the problem. Called Charlie and he came out next day and immediately knew what the problem was. He and his team wrapped our addition and put up new siding. A new door was installed, however the door still leaked after a few times out (not Charlie's fault, this door was cursed), but he came out everytime I called and never gave up until the door was completely fixed. I now have a sealed, waterproof door! Thanks Charlie!

Charlie, Joedy and crew put a lot of time and effort into this remodel, and it really shows. It wasn’t easy as we ran into several surprises - but they worked with us and we with them to get it done. They worked with our schedule best they could as we work weird hours and days. We left them alone to work many a time without any issues.

These guys are legit. They can do framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, finish carpentry, tiling, HVAC, anything a major renovation involves. They provided a detailed quote in writing and they do what they say they will do which by itself puts them above a lot of others in this industry. Very fair payment terms, not asking for a lot up front but instead progress payments based on scheduled work performed. Once the job started they made steady progress and kept on schedule. Responded well to customer concerns. Honest and dependable. We would hire again.

Precision did an amazing job on my home renovation providing multiple services from foundation and joist work under the house to trim carpentry. Precision has a great crew with a number of specialized trades: plumbing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, etc. They framed new walls in a kitchen, hung drywall, replaced all plumbing, and updated all trim. They also did under the house work to raise a sinking floor and installed new hardwoods. We did a lot of work ourselves and had other contractors I subbed out working around them. Precision was always helpful keeping me on track with project management and inspecting others' work. Since it was my first major renovation that was an incredible benefit. If we do another big project I'd be absolutely comfortable just handing the entire thing over because I trust their craftsmanship and business ethics.

Job went well. Coordination with subcontractors was timely. Everyone was professional, doing a very satisfactory job, often going beyond expectation. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Charlie has been on my call list for close to 25 years and has never let me down. I highly recommend him.

I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure we were happy long-term with the work they did. We definitely have been! Charlie and the boys were amazing to work with. Charlie is as responsive and professional as anyone in the business. He's punctual, knowledgeable, and clear with his communication. The quote was fair, and they followed the established timeline. Kevin and Paul were committed to seeing the project through to its final finishing touch. These guys went out of their way to consider our needs. They talked through our options with us, and made us part of the creative process. I'm 6'5'', and Charlie did unnecessary amounts work to make sure we got every inch out of our cased openings. The attention to detail was impressive, and they had great industry connections for flooring and HVAC help as well. We will definitely contact them again, because they were awesome to work with, and we couldn't have imagined the project coming together any better than this. The house was completely transformed in a timely, professional, and affordable manner. Their work taking out two living room walls and one kitchen wall has left us with beautiful flow and an almost unrecognizable living space. Thanks guys!

Charlie is a neighbor and my go-to resource for home repair and improvement needs. His attention to detail and quality are exceptional. His team consists of the highest caliber craftsmen, whether they are direct employees or sub-contractors. I presented him with a problem job--remodeling a kitchen that had very little changes made since 1954 when it was built. He and his team stripped multiple layers of linoleum, leveled floors (including a pantry/laundry that was converted from an old porch), reworked plumbing, walls, trim, installed ceramic tile, custom cabinets, appliances, sinks, new electrical and lighting...the works. In essence, the job was a total demolition and rebuild. His crew worked with my design, troubleshooting challenges and offering suggestions, and the result is the kitchen of my dreams. I highly recommend this company.

Called to get a quote and was told I would be contacted later that week or the beginning of the next. Was never contacted so I followed up that next week and we scheduled a time for them to come to my home. They did not show up nor did they call. Rescheduled for another time but they showed up an hour late (no call to inform me they would not make the scheduled appointment.) They gathered measurements and job details and said they would email me the quote. No quote was ever provided even after sending a reminder email.

We were extremely pleased with Charlie and his highly professional team at Precision Carpentry & Plumbing LLC, who did the most wonderful job creating a superb In-Law suite and converting other home space into a beautiful master bathroom and bedroom. We had purchased new construction which had the potential to give my wife and I a downstairs Inlaw suite adjacent the primary house, which our daughter and son-in-law's family would live in, and to and also turn an unfinished space upstairs into a huge second master suite with bedroom and bathroom. The potential was there, but finding the right company to help us was paramount to making this project successful. We talked to several, but selected Precision Carpentry & Plumbing from Angie's List, because we could tell they were experienced, and wouldn't cut corners, and had reasonable prices (they did not disappoint). While all the other companies would give us a extremely brief description of what they would do (or simply give us a single price quote), Charlie and his associate Joedy spent the time up front (at their own expense) to provide us a detailed breakdown of all aspects of the job, including all individual costs, in an Excel spreadsheet. That gave us the ability to tweak the work, deciding where we could save money with other alternatives. We could also pick our own materials, or buy them ourselves. They started by covering all the lower level hardwood flooring and stairway with Ram Board protective sheeting, so nothing would get damaged. They also added it later as they put in new flooring. They cleaned up after themselves each day, and never left a mess anywhere. We didn't even need a dumpster, because they would take away debris regularly. Downstairs, they took down a wall between a front room "library" and a huge walk in closet, adding a header beam for support, and turned that closet into a fully functional Kitchen, with all the normal full sized appliances. That included tapping into the adjacent bathroom plumbing and removing some concrete (from the slab foundation) to add provide a sink, dishwasher and disposal in our new Kitchen (the house now has two full kitchens). They wired all the electrical, adding a separate breaker box, which had to tie into the original, and re-directed all the HVAC ductwork. They did the complete job, including framing, sheetrock (and finishing) custom cabinetry, replacing the flooring, adding the granite counter and backsplash and topped it off with adding crown molding to both the new living room and kitchen. They even replaced a window in the master bedroom with a sliding door (which we purchased ourselves), and sectioned off the area from the main house (going into the original master bedroom), turning an entrance way into the bedroom, into a small closet. Finally they added a door between the existing hallway, and the garage, which happened to have a third car port, and provided us with our own entrance, all on the same lower level. Upstairs there was an unfinished space in the attic area that was supposedly for a 6th bedroom, but had ductwork running throughout the space. Adjacent to that was a small finished bedroom. Charlie's team converted that bedroom into a master bathroom, and finished off the bedroom, beefing up the floor joists and adding the proper ceiling joists, and refinished the ceiling beneath where they were working (our In-law living room), where any nails may have popped. They found an elegant way to tie into the existing house plumbing in order to add a shower, dual sink vanity and a toilet (room). They laid the tile we purchased ourselves and created a walk-in closet to our specifications, and of course handled all the electrical and HVAC requirements (after verifying our system could handle the new space). All in all we were extremely pleased. Not only did Charlie stand behind all his work, he took care of all the permits and had everything inspected multiple times. We received weekly updates to the spreadsheet, showing what was worked on, and only paid for what was done each week. Their workmanship was supreme, and their carpentry work, including the detailed finishes is second to none. We are so pleased, as we now have a beautiful multi-generational home, where our family can live together in harmony, but also with our individual space. Thank you Charlie!

Charlie and his guys worked about 3 months at my house. My entire downstairs was gutted and rebuilt. This started with tearing out old cabinets and island in kitchen and den. They tore out most of the den ceiling, enlarged opening from kitchen to den and from den into sun room. He put in new drywall throughout, new appliances, new cabinets, new granite counter tops, new sinks, replaced all electrical switches and receptacles, new can lights in every room. They installed new plumbing in all these rooms and a new toilet. They moved a gas line. After all was installed the downstairs was repainted and 1600 square feet of hardwood was sanded and refinished. His guys were neat, reliable and on time. The sub contractors used on my job were excellent including electricians, cabinetry, hardwood flooring, and painting. I plan to use them again on my next project. Charlie was always available when we had questions or concerns, and if I needed him he or his subs would be there promptly.

We found a photo on Houzz and Charlie’s team built our unit from that photo. It turned out to be absolutely beautiful!! His carpenter, Mike Brock, was not only talented and meticulous but has a good aesthetic sense. We are very happy!

Precision Carpentry did a great job with quality work on the two projects we hired them for. We get many compliments on our custom shelving and cabinets that were built in our living room. They worked with us on the design and provided helpful guidance during the initial stages. They were always professional in our communications and we are completely satisfied with the work performed and price point. We’ve worked with them on two projects now (second was was to add an interior doorframe and door which was quick and well done) and would work with them again in the future.
